I've only done the OG layout and it was pretty tiring for my first time lol. 18 holes where the second half is the same as the first half, but just longer distances. If you find any discs lying around, make an effort to return it to its owner. But if there's no contact info, it's fair game. I found two drivers here with no info on it. Call it the "unwritten" rule.

This review is for the PONY division field only…read more... My son had a weeklong tournament here for the first time ever. Driving down from Carlsbad wasn't so bad, but we haven't had to drive on a weekday..... yet (tomorrow will be the first). Anyway, the field itself has a dirt infield and grass outfield. Not unlike many little league fields throughout the country. However, the dirt infield is well maintained. There wasn't a lot of loose dirt, gravel or super big holes on the mound or batters boxes. Holes yes, but they did a pretty good job of filling and packing to reduce the wear and tear. There was only one guy who came out in between games to drag and mark the field. He performed the job with grace and style! It was artistry in motion if you can believe it for maintaining a baseball field. It was beautiful to say the least (ok, this is starting to sound like a field of dreams story...) The outfield grass is a bit clumpy. But to maintain the grassy areas is expensive. College and pro teams do it annually, but for a little league park, I can't complain. Relatively short fences in the outfield for this division so beware of power hitters. Parking at this park is tight. With only one game happening and about 6 different fields, the parking lot was almost 40% full. i'm sure the neighbors must hate spring season when all fields are in use regularly and parking is at a premium. The nearby streets and neighborhoods must get overly full. Looked like street parking was already tight as it was. Anyway, a nice choice of fields for a tournament. Stands were a bit dirty with dirt and trash cans were full on day two. I did notice the restrooms were cleaned on the first day of the tourney. Nothing really special there, but nice that they cleaned it up when they know it's going to be used. Keep on Yelp'n!

It's not very large, it does have a few sets of tables and benches, bathroom facilities(no doors on the stalls, though!)and a small playground area. They have a ball field and soccer field. I imagine it gets hard to find parking when they have more than one game going on. However, if you can't park in the small lot, plenty of street parking is available. The times I have come here in the morning it has been peaceful and not crowded, only with a few people walking or running, some with dogs, moms with little ones visiting the playground.

I end up checking her shoes before leaving. I definitely enjoyed the shade under the trees that were plentiful around this beautiful park. Make sure you bring snacks and drinks because I had forgotten to do that. We didn't stay long as we needed to go do more exploring. I'd definitely come back if we are in the neighborhood. Reserve the tent places if it's a big event for weekend uses because it can get busy. I now have a daughter of my own and bring her here to play......so why rate it a 1 and keep coming here? Well I live quite a ways away now so when I bring my daughter to visit with my mom we come here cause it's closest to her. But so much of the equipment is in need of repair, I don't know what happened here but seems like certain things just won't ever be fixed. The swing for example.....my daughter will soon turn 4 and I can't remember bringing her by here and having the swing at capacity. There's like 1 huge one and 2 other regular sized. Kids regularly steal from the pharmacy across the street and come drink in this park.....see it way too often. Hoping the city pays a little more attention to this park.

Hubby parked right in front of the beautiful views. It was very relaxing just to sit in the car and look out at the city below. There is a recreation hall where people make use of activities inside. There is also a large park where you can enjoy your picnic lunch or even take a walk around the park. We did not stay long because my daughter was sleeping, so we ended up leaving. I truly enjoyed this park because it was peaceful and relaxing. We will definitely come back for some fresh air and playtime for my daughter.

The indoor courts are clean and staff is pretty fair. -Decently sized playground for kids to play -Enough benches for parents to watch their kids play. -Location: My teenager lives a hop, skip, and a jump away from here. My baby's front yard is literally Salt Creek. Yes, I've been to Salt Creek's community center a ton of times. I could be the Duke if I could only remember to check in. -Fitness Room: They have a small fitness room where you can get your workout on. This fitness room is not for me because I need a little more than just a handful of machines, but it's perfect for the peeps living in the community that's looking for a quick workout. -Trails: From the community center runs trails that circle the area. The next time I'm in town, I am using the start of the trail for my half marathon training. The trail doesn't run 12 miles, but that's what side streets are for. San Diego Rock n Roll here I come!!! There's plenty of parking at this park and til this day it's still well maintained. I laugh at Maria C's review about the parking if you're here for a Filipino party. She mentioned how crazy the parking can get. She's so right about that. Come to think of it, I think I was at the same party. I just can't comprehend how no park employee has been able to push for this to be fixed. People have to literally brought sticks, 550 cord, ropes, strings, to keep it from opening. Do better guys.

For the older kids, it was nice not having to keep such a close eye on them the entire time. One of the best parts was not having to deal with a big mess at home. Once the party was over, we simply packed up and left--it made hosting so much less stressful. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back for future celebrations!
