This isn't a dog park. It's like they fenced in an uneven gravel area and said ok good enough.

This is a great park with various play structures for the kids. It's clean and has a half court basketball court

Ample room to run around, play soccer or basketball on the court. There is. A nice track/sidewalk that goes around the loop. Only downside, no bathrooms.

Lots of shade and cool at around 5p in July! *Not terribly crowded when we walked here...hidden gem! *Good sized grassy area to set up sports practice, have a picnic, or rest awhile...when I was here there was a kids soccer camp with just 2 groups of kiddos CONS: *Cobwebs in the drinking fountain near the playground...bring your own water! (See picture) *Cobwebs in the doggie poo bag dispenser....please remember to bring your own bags and pick up after your pup! (See picture) NOTES: *Yelp map does not take you to the park....it takes you about 0.5 miles past to a random intersection. (See pictures) After posting this review, I will let Yelp know. Use directions from the CV Parks & Rec website instead (https://www.chulavistaca.gov/departments/public-works/parks/locations-features-amenities-photos/explorer-park) *I didn't see a parking lot...I parked on the street as did others. Parking was not a problem when I was here. Can't say for sure on holidays.

The grass has a few dried rough spots but not too bad if you want to lay out your blanket. They only have 1 large gazebo to rent for parties. A lot of ppl walking the park and neighborhood with kids and pets. It is a safe, family oriented neighborhood. The parking lot is small...but you can park on the streets. It usually is jammed packed with kids and cars once school lets out for the day....so avoid this area unless youre here picking up your kid during the week or there to meet or make some mom friends :)

Cool park. Great playground for the kids. Parking is pretty slim but it's usually not packed. At…read morethis point I think the play ground could be updated. So many other parks are popping up around this area that we could easily go there but this our park. There are basketball courts nearby but good luck trying to get it for actually playing basketball. It seems it's a dance floor where kids bump loud music with profanity when they can clearly see 6 and under kids playing in the playground. There have been times when I asked to turn it down or play kid friendly music and sometimes they oblige but others they just ignore the request and continue to attempt to dance like the Jabawokeez. I said try. Or they do that whacking silliness and fight with the air.... Regardless of the various characters at this park, this park is pretty legit. It's kept pretty clean. I honestly can't tell you what the bathrooms look like inside because I just don't use public bathrooms unless it's an emergency.

We love this indoor playground for our 5 year old daughter. It is located in Grossmont Center,…read morewhich makes it super convenient for playtime after running errands or shopping in the area. I really appreciate all the new additions and renovations. We were out of town for about a month and when we came back, so many of the play stations had been updated. It definitely did not go unnoticed and shows they are investing in the space. One thing I love about this place is how often the staff cleans and reorganizes. No matter how busy it gets, it never feels messy. It also never smells like feet in there, which is honestly a big problem at other indoor playgrounds. The staff does a great job maintaining a clean and pleasant environment. The only downside for us is that our daughter is growing out of it a little too fast. She can get bored if there are not other kids her age to play with. This is truly a great spot for younger children. I do wish they offered an hourly rate instead of requiring a full day pass, because sometimes you just need a quick hour or two to let the kids get their wiggles out. Overall, it is a wonderful, well maintained playground and we will continue recommending it to families with younger kids.

The place is always very clean and the staff are constantly sanitizing, especially after a child leaves a station, which we really appreciate. It is a great place to bring our son and very fulfilling in terms of fun, excitement, and play. It is definitely one of our favorite spots. The staff are always kind and respectful, and it never feels overcrowded. There is always just the right amount of kids and parents to enjoy the space comfortably.
