My taste for the style was started by a long closed spot in Hollywood on Sunset. While many Indian restaurants exist, for some reason, Balti is as rare as places with Dosai, perhaps more rare. I chose the house Balti special with basmati and naan, and everything came out as I hoped. The (by request) medium plus heat level was dialed in perfectly. A runny nose is the first indicator of success in my experience. It was so good I ate it all! I also really liked the presentation of the entrée.
