I brought my friend here for her first Indian lunch buffet experience. She absolutely loved it! She is planning to bring her family here, most definitely. We were one of the first groups on this lunch outing. It never got too busy like most of the many times previously. They had all the entrees I've seen before. One thing I noticed was that many of the foods were not piping hot. Maybe the warmers were just getting started. My friend enjoyed many of the creamy vegetables. The servers continued to provide attentive and quick service with removing our plates and refilling our water. They offer fresh naan bread right out of the oven. It doesn't get any better than this. I have been to this restaurant before but never for the lunch buffet. For $18 it is so amazing. It is great Indian food, and the variety that you get to eat at a buffet as opposed to ordering a single curry is so much more fun! Quality not sacrificed. They had goat curry, butter chicken, chicken curry, palak paneer, lots of vegetarian options, lentil soup, samosas, chicken tandoori, and so much more. The complementary garlic naan was the best because it's always at least $5 add on anywhere else. We were obsessed with the Mango Pudding as well. It had a variety of fruits inside - mango, grape, pear etc. A fruity surprise. The servers are quick to clear finished plates and are pleasant. The inside of this restaurant feels like you are underground in a cozy way. There seems to be several different dining areas here, each with very different atmospheres. The place is medium in size, with the largest tables seating up to 6 people and round 4-person tables situated in the corners. We sat at one of the round tables, which has a nice view of the buffet. Various cultural items such as portraits adorn the walls and a shelf of wine bottles can be seen near the front as well. We were excited about coming here because it's been a while since we went to an Indian buffet. The bread is freshly made and plentiful. Stumbled upon their lunch buffet on a weekend for $18.95/pp. They have a pretty good selection of vegetarian items from their lunch buffet with garlic naan. The mango pudding was also really good treat to have at the end with the cantaloupe. I have eaten Indian food all over the world, including Bangalore, India, NYC & Tokyo, and I can say that the food here is delicious and covers all the traditional bases of Indian cuisine, served buffet style, ALL UNDER $20.00! The servings of complementary Naan is also plentiful and tasty. The Gulab Jamun is also sweet, syrupy and decadent. If you're driving from North Irvine, it's only about 8 minutes or less from the Costco near Tustin Ranch Road... my point being is that this is a better alternative to those Indian restaurants in Irvine, which tend to be small and crowded. My only suggestion to management is to add more heating canisters under the entrees in the serving bay to keep the food warmer. read more

We already have a regular Indian buffet we go to, but recently discovered this place and thought we should try it out. Located in a relatively older shopping center, this freestanding building just off the main road is....like some reviewers have mentioned, looks kind of old and in need of some updating. We walked in just after openning and pretty much had our choice of where to sit, it was nice and quiet, and noticed the steaming row of yummy looking Indian buffet offerings on the other side of the room. I'd say the choice of really yummy looking buffet items was pretty decent.....not a huge variety, but more than enough to enjoy a delicious and filling lunch......and priced pretty much the same as anywhere else you go these days. And as usual, once you're seated, have filled up your plate, the complimentary naan bread comes out shortly after. To cut a long story short, the curries are absolutely delicious.....full of great flavors....not filled with salt.....and it all went so well with the hot and fluffy freshly baked naan bread. My only issue was with the chicken meat in the Tikka Masala Curry.....was just a biiiiiiit dry....maybe because it was breast meat. However, the chicken in Chicken Curry was moist, tender, and oh so delicious....because it was thight meat. Same goes with the Tandoori Chicken......so tender, juicy, with great flavor! All in all we really enjoyed our Indian Buffet here.....the staff were nice, courteous, and very helpful......the buffet was enjoyably good, everything prepared hot and fresh, and everything oh so easy to get overly stuffed on. My family and I attended this spot for their buffet and we had a great time with great food. My family and I had a great interaction with a kind Hispanic man who worked there and prepared us some pani puri for us since I mentioned I've never tried it before. He stepped aside returned with some gloves and prepared some for my family and I. He was exceedingly polite and welcoming. The other staff were also polite and attentive which we appreciated. The food selection was amazing. They had all of our favorite dishes. You can try countless dishes to assess the flavor. Amazingly good! The star of the show at the lunch buffet is the lamb biryani. It's usually a bit spicy so be warned! Last night we ordered takeout and the flavors still did not disappoint. The owner gave us extra chutney and pickles. Also extra lime and fresh red onion. So nice. He also wanted us to have the chutneys which came in size-able containers. Not those tiny ones that others hand out. And a giant container of basmati rice. So appreciate the extra care they have for their customers. The restaurant is quite big, but they do get busy during the buffet hours. And why not? The food is reliably always good. Plenty of parking in front and behind the building. Very attentive staff. One of my favorite Indian buffets in OC! I loved the paneer version of the tikka masala, it was even better than the chicken, which was a little dry. The goat curry and the chicken biriyani rice were also tasty. I would also recommend the chicken 65 as soon as it comes out of the chicken so that it will still be juicy.
