Its a no frills indian restaurant with pretty good service. They have good amount of seating. We went here on sunday for a lunch buffet and we enjoyed it. They provide a full course buffet meal with Gol Guppa, Samosa, pakora and spring rolls. The options are pretty wide for both vegetarian and non vegetarian lovers. We loved the desserts the kheer, gulab jamun and mango pudding were all amazing!! Will definitely be back here.
We were here for lunchtime and it looks like they only offer buffet for lunch. It just a small buffet line but the food was delicious. There is just enough varieties of food to try. I love the goat stew. Wish they have more dessert selection though. Overall, I would definitely comeback.
Walking in you are met the delicious smell of spices and warm cooking. The inside is decorated beautifully and the staff is all friendly and kind. I headed straight to the buffet section and began with rice, paneer, and some chicken dishes. A whole slab of garlic naan was ready for me and the first plate was delicious. Second plate went for some of the same and some new. Ended with a dessert. The dishes were all cooked great for a buffet, lots of flavor and the dessert was the best I've had at an Indian buffet! I will say I'm writing this after my food coma has worn off as I had to skip dinner I was so full. But now with a clear mind I can say this is good BUT the options seemed somewhat limited, It seemed standard but think there could have been more dishes. Great spot though been twice and will return!
I have tried Indian cuisine maybe a couple of times in my life, but my husband is a huge fan. So of course when we decided we wanted to eat Indian food, I let my husband choose the restaurant. Man, this place is good! We came to their lunch buffet this afternoon. For the both of us, the total came out under $40 total. What a great deal, especially for the quality of their food. I enjoyed all the dishes I got to try. Their curry, chicken masala, and naan were my favorites. Their food tasted so fresh,tender, and flavorful. But of course, I had to ask my hubbie what he thought. He said it was legit good. We both agreed we would return. Sooner than later. The place is clean. All the food was warm and always filled. Overall, a very quick, convenient, and affordable yet very tasty treat for lunch (they offer buffet during lunch time only).
Service was spot on. Friendly greeting as soon as I came in. Seated promptly with ice water offered shortly after being seated. Great on a hot day. Food was great, as always.
I brought my friend here for her first Indian lunch buffet experience. She absolutely loved it! She is planning to bring her family here, most definitely. We were one of the first groups on this lunch outing. It never got too busy like most of the many times previously. They had all the entrees I've seen before. One thing I noticed was that many of the foods were not piping hot. Maybe the warmers were just getting started. My friend enjoyed many of the creamy vegetables. The servers continued to provide attentive and quick service with removing our plates and refilling our water. They offer fresh naan bread right out of the oven. It doesn't get any better than this. They have a wide selection of dishes and a memorable dessert menu. I loved the samosa and vegetable fritters. The chicken tikka masala, navratan korma, and palak paneer were a standout and I could not get enough of the mango pudding! Great experience overall!

It is great Indian food, and the variety that you get to eat at a buffet as opposed to ordering a single curry is so much more fun! Quality not sacrificed. They had goat curry, butter chicken, chicken curry, palak paneer, lots of vegetarian options, lentil soup, samosas, chicken tandoori, and so much more. The complementary garlic naan was the best because it's always at least $5 add on anywhere else. We were obsessed with the Mango Pudding as well. It had a variety of fruits inside - mango, grape, pear etc. A fruity surprise. The servers are quick to clear finished plates and are pleasant. The inside of this restaurant feels like you are underground in a cozy way. There seems to be several different dining areas here, each with very different atmospheres. My coworkers and I have tried so many Indian restaurants in Tustin/Irvine and we will most likely only be coming back here for lunch!

Can't check out an Indian place without trying their lunch buffet! It was very good and flavorful. And surprisingly it didn't feel as heavy as other Indian restaurants that are cooked with a bunch of butter and cream. There's plenty of variety here, including vegetarian dishes. I made my own pani puri too, yum!

First time trying India Kitchen. Was in the neighborhood for an early dinner. Had come here for the lunch buffet, but missed the time. Dinner time starts around 5-5:30pm. Upon entry, many other groups followed. Seemed like a nice and popular place. Ordered basic Indian items of butter chicken and tikka masala along with the fluffy basmati rice. Both of the curries look very similar but each have their own distinct taste. You can get hints of tomato or coconut.. The garlic naan was very soft but still flaky. Best to dip in curry. Other guests ordered sizzling plates that smelled so good! I got fomo. I want what they got. Next time! This place has a really really nice dining room with red table cloth and silverware on each table. Service is very fast. Right after ordering, food arrived like in like 5 minutes or less. Overall it was a very pleasant dining experience. Highly recommend to check out. read more
Came around 11:30 on memorial day for the 18$ buffet. Good amount of ppl already but continued to fill up later and eventually had a wait. Good amount of variety, i think like 3 veg curries + 2 diff vegetables, and 3 meat curries (goat chicken 2x). Also had tandoori chicken, samosas, fried cauliflower(?) and like mango pudding and stuff. Tikka masala chicken was pretty good, very heavy tho but was good. Goat curry was also decent, goat not super tender tho. They gave us 3 dishes of naan for 5 ppl. Service is decent, the ppl jus walking around picking up dirty dishes very frequently and pretty attentive. Monday, July 21, 2025 This place is a gem of a restaurant, hidden in Tustin, CA. I have eaten Indian food all over the world, including Bangalore, India, NYC & Tokyo, and I can say that the food here is delicious and covers all the traditional bases of Indian cuisine, served buffet style, ALL UNDER $20.00! The servings of complementary Naan is also plentiful and tasty. The Gulab Jamun is also sweet, syrupy and decadent. If you're driving from North Irvine, it's only about 8 minutes or less from the Costco near Tustin Ranch Road... my point being is that this is a better alternative to those Indian restaurants in Irvine, which tend to be small and crowded. My only suggestion to management is to add more heating canisters under the entrees in the serving bay to keep the food warmer. read more

I have been ordering from India Kitchen for many years now, for home and work, as they have consistent excellent quality. Favorites: Chana Paneer Korma: The paneer is so fresh Butter Chicken: Good portion of chicken Aloo Gobi: The only way I like to eat vegetables Vegetable Samosa: Big and delicious Vegetable Pakora: Veggie fritters I'd eat every day if I could Chicken Tikka Masala: Also a good portion of chicken Garlic Naan: Real garlic! And their chutneys are delicious and the perfect consistency. Takeout or ordering delivery is just as good as dining in - they still give you plenty of food and the quality isn't compromised at all. I always get great service, whether I order ahead of time or at the restaurant. It is a big and vibrant restaurant, yet they always serve quickly. I've tried plenty of good Indian restaurants, but this one is hard to beat! This one is a staple for me. read more

I have been a regular here for more than 1 year. I always get the lunch buffet. And I come here at least twice a month. Food is always fresh, flavorful, warm if not hot. Environment is always nice and clean. Staffs are always attentive and welcoming. Lunch buffet price is stress free, I don't have to debate with myself over the price to decide if I should come when I want to come. Sometime I come here two days in the roll. My fav is their goat curry. The nanh, And the mango dessert. This is THE to-go spot whenever I crave Indian food. Highly recommend! read more

Excellent customer service! they checked on us frequently, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious! We went with the buffet option for $17.99, which included unlimited naan bread. The atmosphere was very kid-friendly, and one of the highlights was having a private room just for our group, which was perfect since we had a large party. read more

We already have a regular Indian buffet we go to, but recently discovered this place and thought we should try it out. Located in a relatively older shopping center, this freestanding building just off the main road is....like some reviewers have mentioned, looks kind of old and in need of some updating. However, once we walked in, we were surprised that the place actually looked very decent....homey, clean, and had a nice tablecloth presentation. We walked in just after openning and pretty much had our choice of where to sit, it was nice and quiet, and noticed the steaming row of yummy looking Indian buffet offerings on the other side of the room. We were greeted at the entrance, quickly seated, and headed straight to the buffet. I'd say the choice of really yummy looking buffet items was pretty decent.....not a huge variety, but more than enough to enjoy a delicious and filling lunch......and priced pretty much the same as anywhere else you go these days. And as usual, once you're seated, have filled up your plate, the complimentary naan bread comes out shortly after. To cut a long story short, the curries are absolutely delicious.....full of great flavors....not filled with salt.....and it all went so well with the hot and fluffy freshly baked naan bread. My only issue was with the chicken meat in the Tikka Masala Curry.....was just a biiiiiiit dry....maybe because it was breast meat. However, the chicken in Chicken Curry was moist, tender, and oh so delicious....because it was thight meat. Same goes with the Tandoori Chicken......so tender, juicy, with great flavor! All in all we really enjoyed our Indian Buffet here.....the staff were nice, courteous, and very helpful......the buffet was enjoyably good, everything prepared hot and fresh, and everything oh so easy to get overly stuffed on. Will definitely be back for this one of the best Indian Buffets in town. read more

Everything here was so good. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We got the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, butter naan, and garlic naan. And everything was amazing. The curry was not too spicy. We got mild, and it had the perfect kick. I also appreciated that it wasn't too sweet. The naan was very soft and fluffy. This is our new favorite Indian restaurant. India Kitchen has quality food and the service is outstanding. I hold an event monthly here in the upstairs hall. We are very pleased with everything. No has ever got sick because the food is fresh and clean. Very tasty and they are generous in portions. The ambience feels like India They have a downstairs bar and room as well for events The staff is professional efficient and the owner is friendly and easy to work with. Thank you India kitchen! A friend recommended to go lunch buffet after pickleball games at India Kitchen of Tustin, California. Outside it looks a bit dated but good thing it's better inside. For lunch buffet drink is extra but they have garlic naan. It has wide selections of Indian food and desserts for very reasonable price. Service is good. Food is delicious too! Would you consider making your menu more clear on which dishes contain dairy? Me and my partner would like to order from here, but we are lactose intolerant and it is too difficult to determine which meat dishes have dairy and which do not have it.
Many Indian dishes use curd or yogurt so stay away from creamy type dishes. Roasted meats with no sauces are safe. Of course naan breads and other breads. Daal, Vindaloo, Sag Aloo, Chana Masala, Egg Burji, or Chicken Jalfrezi. Ask for PURE VEG…
Do the currys come with rice and nann or do you need to order them separately?
