I have to write another review. Every time I get this food it keeps getting better. Please try it. The service is above and beyond too

    Extra rice for $2.99
    Kaylee L.

I ordered the Chicken Korma, samosas, garlic naan bread and extra rice online. When I went to pick it up I had asked if they made sure the extra rice was packed. They didn't and it took a few minutes for them to check the receipt and add it. The extra rice was $2.99 but I also paid extra $0.99 to have it with the chicken korma and it didn't have the rice so it was a little disappointing. It was $32.28 for everything and the portions were kind of small. Aside from the price and missing rice, it was packed well and the food tasted good.

Tucked away in corner, under new owner this place is great. Loved the food service and ambiance. I personally like clean walls not any tacky indian art works. Food was great, for their locals. For my Indian taste needed some more flavours. First off nan dough didn't have salt , I ordered Peshwari nan its but sweet in flavor. If nan dough has salt in salt in dough it taste better. Hint of salt bring out flavor of coconut and raisin ( my personal opinion) Pakoras I like with spink le of chaat masala, when I asked they gave us. Maybe for their american crowds they don't like taste of chaat masala. Samosas were big in size and freshly made. Yummy. Mango lassi was really good, no artificial flavour added. Malai koftas were great, fresh ingredients, soft and creamy. Food was piping hot just the way we like it. Owner Mr. Robin was very nice, came and check on us multiple time, so is there staff. They also offered us kheer on the house. Even we were full we ended eating up, it was delicious!! Will come back soon.

Chicken Tikka Masala, Korma, Onion Kulcha

The Indian food here hits the spot!! We tried the chicken korma and chicken tikka masala, and both were phenomenal. Full of flavor and tender, juicy meat. You can also adjust the spice level to suit your taste. The onion kulcha was a delicious, thick naan. Prices are affordable and the staff and owner were super kind. Will be coming back!

Ordered butter chicken and garlic naan from here after coming back from India and graving the dish. It's okay, but the butter chicken isn't authentic. They add too much tomato paste -- the taste is more reminiscent of tikka masala and it lacks depth of flavor. It might be more appropriate to name this tomato-flavored sauce with chicken in it than butter chicken, which shouldn't be so acidic in taste. The curry doesn't have "umami" in it. Unfortunately, the chicken also isn't tender. When I eat it, it feels like this was a white person trying to cook Indian food. Disappointed :(

The appetizer is so good. I think they serve it to you for free before you order the dishes. I really like the cheese naan.

Dining establishments that offer on-site dining should provide functional restrooms to patrons. I believe someone had previously mention the restroom issue among the reviews and it needs to be addressed. For this reason, had to knock off 1 star.

While trying to write a review on them tonight, I noticed that I have already reviewed Tandoori India Cuisine before. It's a very small restaurant and they have a buffet bar station set up at lunch hour. However, you can't help yourself to the buffet. The owner will serve from the buffet bar once you order. They have good deals on their lunch specials. I had the tika masala and it was very good. I requested the garlic naan and that was also very good. The bread was soft and chewy, and I can taste the garlic flavor. Lunch special also comes with a small side of dessert, which i opted out. I do not like the Indian dessert. I've seen it on the Indian buffet all the times but never eaten it. Too sweet for me.

Not just any Indian/Himalayan restaurant, but also a Balti House! Balti is an especially spicy style first made popular in the UK amongst the Indian diaspora. My taste for the style was started by a long closed spot in Hollywood on Sunset. While many Indian restaurants exist, for some reason, Balti is as rare as places with Dosai, perhaps more rare. I chose the house Balti special with basmati and naan, and everything came out as I hoped. The (by request) medium plus heat level was dialed in perfectly. A runny nose is the first indicator of success in my experience. It was so good I ate it all! I also really liked the presentation of the entrée. Next time I'll explore more than just Balti, but it really awakened old memories and taste buds. Great work!

He is seriously the sweetest and kindest person. So attentive without ever being overbearing, incredibly welcoming, and genuinely made us feel cared for. You don't get service like that everywhere. The chicken tikka masala was not anything spectacular as I have had better elsewhere. But it definitely hit the spot. The samosa and the paneer were stars as each bite produced additional flavors which continued to build on each other. I could just eat these two dishes forever. We tried the dosa and the goat. The dosa was perfectly crispy when it was hot. I personally didn't enjoy eating it as leftovers the next day. But I couldn't stop eating it and dipping it in all the curries and sauces when it was piping hot. The goat surprised me as I'm not a huge fan of lamb or goat. But the flavor profile and the spices made this a dish that was more flavorful than our usual go to tikka masala. Will definitely come here again and again.

I tried the gol gappa, chicken samosa, beef biryani, malai chicken, beef nihari, channa chaat, chicken Tikka masala. Gol gappa - although they had the liquids, I couldn't find the stuffing to put in it. It was very plain. Chicken samosa - this was food. The crunch of the samosa with the filling inside dipped with green chutney was the right flavor. Beef biryani - when I saw this dish swinging by before the people started linning up, it looked super promising. But by the time it was my number in line, it was mostly yellow rice leftover. People must have pulled all the meat. Very disappointing. Beef nihari - this has little to no flavor that you would expect from this dish. Chicken Tikka masala - this was better and had a good taste. Channa - it was a mix of chaat and a cholay salan and failed to stick out on either. Malai chicken - it was okay. Overall the experience was better. Still getting fresh naan to the table. But food taste is still mediocre. The chai was also not right. Needed more milk.
