I am pretty disappointed with Bold Screen Printing. Their customer service is inconsistent (stay away from a guy named Luigi), and they do not deliver within time frame they promise without an additional "rush fee" of $125. I placed a order FOUR weeks before I needed the shirts. It took them a week to review the order and get me a online proof. Once "officially ordered," I called to double check the shirts would arrive in time for my special event (three weeks from this point). They said it was not a problem and it would arrive before my event. One week prior to my event, I called to check-in and make sure the shirts would arrive in time. They said my shirts wouldn't arrive until a WEEK AFTER my event. They said they made no promise to a delivery date and it would cost extra to receive it on time. How much extra? $125 to "rush" the order. Shady business. At this point, I offered to pick the shirts up before my event. To which they replied, "we have no idea when they will be complete, so you can't pick them up." This made no sense because they could promise to deliver the shirts on time for an extra $125, but they had no idea when the shirt would be done so I couldn't pick up the shirts and skip the whole expedited shipping expense? They offered NO other solution but to pay and extra $125 on the $375 dollar order. So much for affordable shirts! What a racket. Don't use this company unless you order your shirts 2 months in advance. There are a multitude of screen printing companies; I made the mistake choosing this one. read more

I ordered some shirts that were $400 they took like a month just to tell me they couldn't do it because the design was to complicated to put on sleeves I was like ok screw it then I made a whole new order with tank tops it took another 3 weeks WTF and it was totaled to 290 so they owed me $110 it's been an additional 3 weeks and I still haven't got my money back ! I'm sitting here reading over the negative reviews and they do not seem like fair reviews, but more so reviews written out of anger due to everything not going 100% perfect, or to poor planning. In this business you must plan ahead and account for any potential issues. Some people feel as though if they are paying for a job, that they are doing the business a favor. Yes, the business is greatly appreciative of your business, but you still need to understand that you should go into it being appreciative of what your getting in return from this business. You get what you give is what I'm saying. I personally have been working with Bold for roughly (6) years when it was only George and Vince, and has every single job been 100% perfect, no. But have they always been willing to compensate me or meet me 1/2 way on any issues that may come up, yes. I've done countless print jobs with these guys and for the top quality of inks that they use (most printers cut corners here), free Fedex delivery service, and seamless email communication to keep things moving along unless a phone call is needed, its more than worth the cost that I pay, which is also the icing on the cake - their low printing costs. I was screwed over by plenty of printers in the past claiming to do what Bold is executing. In most cases you get what you pay for, but with Bold I honestly feel as though I'm getting far more. They have treated me the same from when I was barely ordering their minimum of 25 pieces (Again what many printers will not bother with) to my weekly 200-300 piece runs now. These reviews are very important to business, so at least write it out without malicious intentions. I never write reviews, and these guys don't even know i'm taking the time to write it, but a friend of mine was looking through them and noticed a few bad reviews and asked me if it was the same Bold I use. Once I confirmed that it was, I immediately created an account to speak the truth - both good and bad. I will recommend them to anyone I know, and I also will say to ask as many questions as you need before starting any job, this way you keep any potential surprises to a minimum. I'll keep printing with them for as long as I'm in nee of printing to be done. Thanks for the years of great service guys - keep it up - I've seen the growth. read more

Searching for high-quality and affordable shirt printing can be a pain--that is, if you haven't come across Bold Screen Printing. Now that I know BSP exists, I don't think I'll be searching anywhere else for the right printing company. BSP has great pricing, quality results, fast turn around, and most importantly, really good customer service. For my order, I already had a design I wanted all laid out, so there wasn't much hassle as far as designing the shirts except sending in the images and my layout. Image cleanup was great and were all positioned as I wanted them to be. I ordered t-shirts with the care labels printed inside. I paid an additional fee for this printing but wasn't told that the original shirt tags would remain intact. So I had a final product with two labels. Had to pay a seamstress to remove the hang tags from the shirt collars. That was annoying. Other than that, the shirts were printed well and delivered as promised. Fast and easy. Good quality printing. Will order again. read more

I needed a really quick turnaround time for some t-shirts and at first they weren't sure if they were going to be able to pull it off so I decided to look elsewhere. THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF T SHIRT PLACES DON'T USE THESE GUYS. They messed up an order so i cancelled and they have been dodging my requests for a refund since april 2015 (it is not end of sept). such a joke of a business. zero ethics. UPDATE: Despite what the owner says below no refund was sent through to paypal and i have documentation from paypal saying just that. SMALL CLAIMS COURT date set, we will see what the judge says about this blatant theft. Also, what kind of business refuses to give back ANY of the refund when a job doesn't get done? This is something I've never heard of, come on. I agreed to the 15% fee for refund and you wouldn't even do that, after calling for months. read more

BEWARE THAT THE SHIRT PROOF COLORS LOOK NOTHING LIKE THE REAL COLORS ordered a ton of shirts most of which were unusable because the contrast of the ink did not stand out at all from the color. the proofs they sent me looked great. the colors of the actual shirts were WAY DIFFERENT from their proofs. I have been working with John and several members of his team since early 2014. Together, we have worked on nearly a dozen different t-shirt projects. BOLD has been instrumental in helping me launch my t-shirt line. With their great prices, I was able to competitively market and sell my t-shirts, resulting in greater profit margins and improving the visibility and versatility of my brand. I vetted dozens of t-shirt companies before I went with BOLD. As an artist and illustrator, I wanted a t-shirt company that could advise me on successfully implementing complex, finely detailed t-shirt designs. Through my collaboration with BOLD, I learned how to alter my designs specifically for t-shirts, and how to achieve the results I envisioned. I am incredibly disappointed with Bold Screen Printing. I had ordered shirts for my small construction company from them in that past because they were cheap, with ok results. Then, I placed a reorder for the same dark grey shirts, and Bold sent white ones! (white doesn't work well in construction as it will get dirty the first day). When I complained, they showed total indifference. They refused to refund me and refuse to send the correct shirts. After a frustrating few days, I even offered to split the cost of the mistake with Bold. Their managers refused, offing a 5% discount for their own mistake! Horrible customer support, a disorganized design team, and a company that could care less about their customers. That what you are likely to get with Bold Screen Printing. It took them OVER A WEEK to send me what the final print would look like. -Never responded to my emails. -Half the time I called the designer was "out of the office". -NONE of the deadlines were met. John, the owner, is very easy to work with. Price is one of the lowest I've seen. They managed to deliver 1 shirt short of my entire order two consecutive times. The first time, John hand-delivered the missing shirt at the venue the day of the event. The second time he gave us a credit on our next order, plus another credit for another shirt for I guess the inconvenience. It's actually more of a 4.5 to be honest. These guys were amazingly responsive and very helpful. I had a rush order of only 3 t-shirts needed in 24 hours. They had it done and reasonably priced. They made special considerations for me and I truly appreciated it. The .5 less is because of an error that I had to fix with a marker. I missed it in the proof because I assumed they had just cut and pasted my original text. Wasn't a huge problem since it was only 3 t-shirts and it was somewhat fixable. I guess I should have caught it before hand in the proof..... Regardless, these guys were awesome and I would highly recommend them and will use them again in the future. read more

Work is great, and service was better than I expected. I made my first order here back in December with all work explained to me and time frame. Everything I received a week later which where Zip-Up Hoodies came nicely folded in boxes. Although my order was a small at 100 pcs. I purposely kept an extra unit to test the quality of the printing. Well I've washed and tumble dried the same hoodie for 37 times and counting and the print work on it is still there with no signs of coming off. That's quality!
