The Car Carriage LLC refused to fix the issue and instead threatened us with negative if we didn't pick up the car, or pay $300 to avoid it. Unprofessional, dishonest, and a waste of time. As prior reviews mention, the communication upfront was consistent - anytime we called, he answered or called back within 30 minutes. We were given a window, as any standard company does. On the first day of the window I waited about mid day to call and asked if there were any updates I was told "I was just looking at that... let me pull it up here... no driver has picked up yet but I do have a driver that reached out earlier that was interested in picking it up so once that is confirmed I'll call within a few hours out." The next day, on 06/05, I asked again at midday for any updates. James stated, "No updates... if you haven't heard from me, that means I don't have anything for you quite yet... You do know it's a window, right?" I responded yes, of course, that's why I'm just calling for an update, in which he states not to worry, he'll make sure that the car gets picked up by tomorrow, 06/06. I responded with no worries and clarified if he is available to call, given that it is Saturday, as I understand weekends are usually non-business hours/workdays. He responded "Oh yes, I'm available! It's only me here all day, every day, so I am available." Today, 06/06, I called midday again; no answer, so I left a voicemail to clarify whether the window is to close and, if a driver doesn't pick up, how we should proceed from here. We then used the "chat blog" option on their site, where the automated system or a third-party team said they would escalate the situation. We gave it time because we understand it's a busy season and we were still in our window however it is now 6pm in which he called us because of reviews and stated in a very agitated tone "I canceled your driver! They were an hour away (mind you, we were told that we would be notified when a driver picks up a few hours prior) you should think again before posting a negative review and wait for the window to close! I'm the only one here... sitting here on my day off... does your doctor have a day off?! Do you have a day off?! (Again, I politely asked if he is available today because I'm very aware that Saturdays are usually non-business days. Overall, everything was fine until it wasn't. We were patient, consistent in our communication, and understanding, and received no further communication until reviews were posted, at which point we received an immediate phone call.

I was recently contacted by Chris at USA Auto Shipping in regards to my review. He was interested to talk about my experience and see what he could do to make it better. After our conversation and a little back and forth, I was offered a partial refund for the trouble with the driver. I truly believe my concerns were heard and efforts will be made to not use this driver if at all possible. We booked our reservation 2 weeks in advance, didn't hear from montway until the week before with a possible driver. We ended up getting our car picked up a few days earlier then the initial pick up date, it worked out for us in the end. We met our driver, Rinat, in a parking lot near our house and he loaded our car. It was supposed to take 7 days for delivery but since his truck needed work we got our car on the 8th day. Rinat was wonderful to work with, very commutative and took great care of our car. Rinat works for kwik trans inc. We will definitely use montway again!

It's bad enough that they give you a 5 day window to pick your vehicle up because who doesn't love having their schedule in limbo for 5 days, but why bother giving you the driver information when the drivers don't even respond to your inquiries. They need to improve this process. I have used them twice now on long-haul jobs. This will definitely be my last time using them. I would not recommend this business.

We called several shipping companies and settled in on Lepke. The company was very responsive, they connected me with a shipper, who said that he would pick up the car the next day, he was a bit late but kept in touch with me giving frequent updates, I understood the traffic was a nightmare that day. When he arrived the driver immediately showed me his credentials and loaded my car. He told me that I could call him anytime and would be able to pick up the car in Florida in 3 days...wait a minute, I can't get there before 5 days...Immediately the driver told me that he would arrange for the car to be dropped off at a garage and could be delivered to me on day 5 for a fee or...brace for it...$75.00!!!! Holy crap, Im in. He also told me that he would continue to take responsibility for the car until I picked it up. I have to admit I was scared sh...less because everything was very inexpensive, I budgeted $1200 for the move and so far it was only costing me $525 + the $75 fee to hold over the car. Anytime contacted the driver he either picked up the phone or called me right back. I actually are it to Florida a day early (fear is a real motivator). I was able to immediately pick up the car, although I was told that they would gladly drop it off at no extra charge. Everything was flawless, went much better that expected. Amazing experience.
