Paid a deposit and the remaining balance due to the driver upon pick up. There was no hidden fees and driver didn't increase the price when taking your vehicle unlike some of the other companies. HLL recommends you take photos /videos before driver takes your car and also upon picking up at the final destination. The driver also takes photos. This protects everyone. Amy at HLL was very helpful and Avra the driver was very professional and gave updates. I recommend HLL and I would definitely use them again for car transport!

We called several shipping companies and settled in on Lepke. The company was very responsive, they connected me with a shipper, who said that he would pick up the car the next day, he was a bit late but kept in touch with me giving frequent updates, I understood the traffic was a nightmare that day. When he arrived the driver immediately showed me his credentials and loaded my car. He told me that I could call him anytime and would be able to pick up the car in Florida in 3 days...wait a minute, I can't get there before 5 days...Immediately the driver told me that he would arrange for the car to be dropped off at a garage and could be delivered to me on day 5 for a fee or...brace for it...$75.00!!!! Holy crap, Im in. He also told me that he would continue to take responsibility for the car until I picked it up. I have to admit I was scared sh...less because everything was very inexpensive, I budgeted $1200 for the move and so far it was only costing me $525 + the $75 fee to hold over the car. Anytime contacted the driver he either picked up the phone or called me right back. I actually are it to Florida a day early (fear is a real motivator). I honestly could not believe how prepared these guys showed up, they pulled up with two trucks that…read morewere entirely empty aside from the equipment that was inside them. They had advanced tools and dollies that were able to help on a number of situations throughout the house. The dollies enabled them to move heavy objects in and out by themselves, not requiring help from the other movers while they were busy. Other tools they had which very notable were these pads that they laid against fragile objects when moving them through tight doorways in order to prevent damage. They were so careful with our things that we did not mind paying a little bit extra for extra cautiousness, after all you move once in a while and want it to be done right. This was definitely one of the aspects that caused me to leave the rating I did. Another thing that I really loved about these guys was that they did not allow me or anyone in my family to partake in carrying objects. They made sure that my parents relaxed and watched, and supervised the movers as they did their job. The manager said that it was their job and that was the reason they were there and being paid. We really appreciate all of the hard work and effort these guys put into our move. Even the truck drivers were inside helping as much as they could until the trucks were full and they had to hit the road. The entire move was scheduled to take two weeks but we managed to narrow that down to about eight business days. I could not be happier with the results. Thank you to the entire moving crew for all they did for my family.

It was all fun and games until the movers actually arrived the very first day, we had contacted…read morethem twenty four hours prior to that and they were able to provide us with an estimation the next day. We had worries that we would not be able to make the deadline of the move as we needed to be moved out by the Thursday of last week. The day we called them was pretty inconvenient to get started so Trico was able to compromise and schedule us to have somebody come in and approximate the price and length of the transportation process. They informed us that the actual packing and loading the furniture onto the trucks will take up at least two to three days and the rest of the transport will take up to another four days relative to how far we were moving. I told my dad that they were offering several package bundles and he opted to choose the one with an insurance policy with it, I strongly agreed. It was one of the best deals they had, including a full damage reimbursal insurance policy for moves over a few hundred miles. Thankfully our move was just about that length if not longer and we qualified for the package. These guys are the very best at what they do, we contacted them on short notice and they did not overcharge us or give us a hard time about things. If we had to do it all over again I think we would still choose these guys without a doubt. We had a wonderful experience and all of our stuff arrived safely at our new home without a single scratch.
