From the moment I walked in, the entire team made me feel comfortable and safe. The staff was incredibly kind, patient, and reassuring. Dr. Kashef did an amazing job. From the sedation to waking up, Hands down, I will always come back if I needed another tooth pulled. He explained everything so clearly, and the procedure went so smoothly that my fears quickly eased. I never felt rushed or judged for being anxious, and that meant so much to me. His assistants were super friendly and explained the process to me and made sure I was comfortable. Everything was so quick, painless, and relaxing that I didn't even know I was at the dental office. If you're someone who struggles with dental anxiety like I do, this is the place to go. I left feeling cared for, respected, and genuinely grateful for such a positive experience.

Dr. Alex quickly assessed, verified exactly what he planned to do explaining everything to me. Then, someone from the business side came to explain what the cost would be. Not long after, they were sedating me which was my choice. I awoke to the news my tooth was out & the titanium rod was installed for the tooth implant. Easy, painless, friendly, helpful. I'd return in an instant if I ever needed to.

The woman in the front office, Kaelinn, is very kind and polite. However, everything else at this…read moreoffice is a mess. The dentist was pretty dismissive of my concerns at the initial consult for my wisdom teeth removal; I wrote this off as being due to my own nervousness about the procedure. Then, Limchaseng prescribed me medication that I was allergic to, and it took two weeks of (mostly unreturned) phone calls for me to get that straightened out. He claimed that I probably wasn't really allergic, and that it would be fine: I had to insist to get a different medication prescribed. The bigger issue, though, had to do with extremely shady financial dealings. The first thing I had asked was whether they accepted my insurance; I was assured over and over again that they did. Then, when I came in to pay the deposit, they did a complete bait and switch. They waited until I had paid $600 deposit, and then demanded an additional $3,000 dollars seconds later, and said they would not perform the surgery unless I paid it, claiming that my insurance was unreliable. When I questioned the change, Limchaseng came out and was extremely unprofessional, asking me why I thought it was okay to not pay him and why I thought it was acceptable for him to not pay his staff a living wage(?). This all happened 5 days before my scheduled surgery: I had already taken time off from work, as had my partner, and I really needed to have the procedure done on the scheduled date. Luckily, Novato Oral Surgery had an opening on that date - they were kind, compassionate, and professional, and took excellent care of me. My insurance came through with no problem, and the total out of pocket cost was 1/3 what Limchaseng had initially charged for a "deposit." Also, Limchaseng exclusively hires young women, and calls everyone who works in his office as "his girls." These women seem to be good at their jobs, but the way he refers to them is very odd and off-putting: adult women are not children. Strongly recommend everyone pay attention to all the negative reviews here and find a different oral surgeon!

I'm in the process of tooth removal/dental implant procedures with Dr. McDonald. I mainly went to…read morehim because my Dentist refered him and a friend who works with dentures/implants said he rated good. Long story short, my front tooth was failing from an injury almost 30 years. After getting assessed in an initial consult, getting second opinions, etc. I went with Dr. MacDonald and had the first part done almost 6 months after the initial consult, I chose that because of work obligations and my wife was getting a graduate degreee and I wanted to look ok in the pictures. I just had part 1) tooth removal in June, and his staff seemed to do a good job. I was put out and the process wasn't too painful, I filled prescriptions of antibiotics and painkillers that day. I coordinated with my dentist to get a temporary piece (or stayplate) a couple days after the intial procedure. So far good. My dental insurance from work covers a little bit of the expenses but the majority of dental insurances don't really cover it, they mainly do preventative care (cleanings and fillings). I had already put some into my FSA/HSA, unfortunately the timing of when I scheduled was after open-enrollment so I wish I had set aside more funds. Like I said, so far so good, and it's my front tooth so it'd be nice if it looked and felt good.

I saw Dr McDonald back in August 2019 for a frenotomy also known as a tongue tie removal. I had…read morebeen doing my own research on the link between tongue-ties in adult and TMJ and I decided it was something I wanted to pursue to see if it helped. To say it was life changing would be an understatement. Not only did it help with my tmj but it changed the shape of my face for the better, less square/round and more oval/heart. There is so much still being researched on fascia and facial anatomy, I'm grateful Dr McDonald listened to me and took my request seriously. Now there's more information on "mewing" and tongue posture but at the time it was not well known and it meant a lot he listened to me when many ignored it. Everyone in the office made it such a pleasurable experience from start to finish, I hope he is still in practice if I ever need an oral surgeon again.
