Cajun Filet Sandwich with "Cheese"

Do not order cheese here. Either they will use a very small pinch of shredded cheese even though there's a whole stack of sliced cheese or they will not put any at all. Fiancé ordered a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit: it's in the name. Then had to wait 30 minutes to get a replacement one. The crew was very disorganized and the owner/ manager was there smiling and cheery as if nothing was wrong. Will not return.

Went to this location last night to get a homestyle tenders combo with fries and a tea. I get to the window and I repeat my order to make sure she heard it right she just nonchalantly says yeah and says my total is $5 and some change. She gives me the receipt and it's a kids supreme box with fries and mac and cheese. I finally get her attention and I told her what I wanted a g a i n. she says it's the same price(?). So I'm like okay whatever and she STILL gives me the kids box. I told her again this is not what I wanted and she finally gave me what I wanted after having an attitude. I got home and there's only 1 tender and 2 HALF EATEN tenders. The fries weren't even cooked all the way. I'm never a picky person when it comes to fast food but come on. That's disgusting. it's Bojangles. I've worked there too and it's not that hard.

I loved this place! I've been trying to make it out forever and finally had the chance. It was busy…read moreon a Sunday morning, we waited a good 30-40 minutes, but it was well worth the wait and once we were sat the food came out impressively fast! My friend ordered the breakfast burrito, it was huge! For a side she had the sweet potato tots. She let me steal a bite of both and yum! I opted for the Hot Honey Chicken with Pimento Benedict and wow! I was nervous the pimento cheese would be overpowering, but it wasn't at all! It was a nice, creamy complement to the spicy crispy chicken. The hollandaise cut through some of the richness for a pleasant mellower. Prices are reasonable and our waitress was great! The restaurant is larger than it looks but it does get quite crowded. Can't wait to come back here!

Another of the good downtown restaurants that I have fought the parking to try - downtown WS's…read moresuccess is also a problem going forward - parking downtown needs to be addressed intelligently, which the local officials don't bring to the table, instead they are going to make changes which will just make matters worse! This is a solid restaurant with much to offer in the brunch/breakfast area - an area that has become popular and chic, and it almost always means much will be expensive, usual very expensive considering the less than costly menu ingredients that drive food choices here, and other such brunch spots. Brunch is seen as more than just a meal for some folks who are all into what is trendy, and restaurant are aware of this and prices are raised due to the "experience" element! I have tried several items here including their version of Huevos Rancheros (not a fan of how they make it, pulled pork is a party foul), the Eggs Benedict (decent but over priced for sure, $17 with bacon added), and several Omelette choices, can reach $15. This is obviously a popular spot in downtown Winston, but I find it generally overpriced, loud, and the service is inconsistent. I like a good adventure, but somethings simply are not worth the cost! Note that the prices for individual items are written, very lightly with no $ sign to the right of the item. This is done intentionally to make the customer pay less attention to what they spending. Many restaurants are using some form of this approach!

We came in on an unseasonably chilly May morning nursing a bit of a hangover. Krankies was delightfully warm with plenty of seating. I got the Hangover Cure biscuit, which had eggs, fried chicken, bacon, cheese, and gravy on the side. I also got a hot latte and then topped it off with a cinnamon roll. My partner got the sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit with an iced latte. The lattes: go with a flavored one if you grab a coffee here. Their plain latte was not that good but their vanilla latte was very good. Biscuits: WOW! The Hangover Cure is hefty with plenty of biscuit to go around - I had some to take home with me. It was absolutely everything I needed after a night of imbibing with friends. My partner also enjoyed his biscuit. Cinnamon roll: very good! They had a variety of baked goods to choose from. Definitely worth the add. All in all, I think we spent $40, which feels reasonable for the amount and quality of food we received. Definitely worth a stop in if you happen to be in the area.

He ensured we got exactly what we ordered and served clean, well made beverages. We got the Pineapple Express and the Morning Meditation. All menus, tables, and cutlery were clean. Only annoying thing is they didn't have crayons for the kids menus. The ambiance is always nice. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It's nice that you can get on line ahead of arrival from the app because it can also get busy. They greet you right when you arrive with a smile. The front looks like a small parking lot but there's additional parking in the back of the building covered and uncovered in case of rain. My kids love parking in back and racing up the stairs to the outdoor seating space. The food was excellent today. Fresh ingredients and cooked perfectly to order. We got the Barbacoa Chilaquiles Breakfast Bowl and the Chimichurri Steak & Eggs Hash. Yum! We also love how if you order coffee, they bring you a whole kettle to serve yourself after the first cup. And if you ask nicely they will give you a cup to go no questions asked. It was a great Sunday morning breakfast.

I ordered a Chickachanga which is a chimichanga but had its own twist. The shredded chicken was very flavorful along with green chilies that completamente sit well. A dollop of sour cream on top as well as a creamy sauce to enhance the flavors even more. I also asked for home fried which are always a must! They are soft in the inside but still hold a light crisp texture on the outside. My coffee was perfect and the purple haze juice came out last. The lavender smoothness gave it a nice touch. My fiancé ordered the French toast with tres leches and this was heaven!!! Not only was it a site but the flavors blended so well. Fresh strawberries to top and just the perfect amount of whipped cream. Even though it was a Saturday, the place was not as full as it normally is. The staff was on their feet making sure all the tables were clean as soon as someone left. Therefore, waiting time was minimal if any. No issues with cleanliness or dirty bathrooms. All was in order.
