I don't have breakfast at Bojangles often, so I had to review the menu before ordering. There are many options, and lunch options could be ordered as well. Do not go! I waited in line for 8 minutes, and there was no action in the movement of the waiting line. There were so many people behind the counter, but no one had any idea what they were doing. Oh my God stopped at Bojangles at 10 AM this morning right off of 95 in Wilson! We are going to Bojangles because everyone we went to sticky tables dirty floors, food mediocre . Big Disappointment - this location seems to be completely disconnected from society. Placing my order felt like a chore, I barely made out the incoherent mumbles from a person behind the mask that clearly would have rather been somewhere else. My order did arrive quickly and was correct but that's where the joy ended for me, the bland chicken was hot but jammed in a box that sweated the crust to a mush. The dirty rice was dry and gross yet the cajun pinto beans stole the show, they were hot, spicy and delicious I wish I had ordered a quart of them and a big spoon. The dining room was presentable and the people watching was entertaining, I had the pleasure of watch an older lady employee chain smoke cigarettes on the sidewalk while gossiping on her phone leaning against the window directly in front my table. I watched a male employee who locked himself out from the counter entrance beg and plea to gain access from a few other members of the staff that were playing grab-ass. Yet another employee wondered the parking lot aimlessly oblivious to the few cars that dodged him to get to the drive through - and then the strangest thing of all, there were tray and tray after tray of uncovered food left out on the counters - it was well after noon and it appeared breakfast didn't go well after looking at the abomination for a few moments I figured out the mystery - it was unsold breakfast sandwiches. Great place to have some comfort food near Wilson, NC. There were approximately 760 Bojangles locations in the United States as of September 2021. The chain is known for its great fried chicken, buttery biscuits, and a menu filled with Southern comfort food classics. The employees were nice and efficient. I will say that the restrooms needed attention, to put it mildly. But the condiment station was well stocked. I really like the food here. They put lots of salt and seasoning but it's very good once in a while. It's probably not an every day type of eat but once in a while it hits the spot. Stopped through on a long road trip. Food was great and hit the spot for the family after being on a long drive! Staff were nice and the manager (I think she was the manager) made sure everything was in order. She cared and showed it, which is so refreshing these days. Always check your order because they knowingly give you the wrong thing sometimes. They leave off stuff. On one occasion my daughter ordered a 5 pc mix and received 5 drumsticks...really. This was the first place I stopped in the morning. I was early enough for breakfast, except for the thing I wanted to try. They basically said "we just threw out the gravy" because I wanted the Gravy Biscuit. Durn. I ended up getting 4 Supremes Combo, errr, I ended up getting 4 Supremes Dinner. This differs from my experience the other day elsewhere because I got a side item and of course, it cost more. I had a terrible time hearing them, so I just paid and went on. The chicken strips were tiny compared to my other visits to Bojangles. The other day, they had one of the four the size of all four of these. Usually, the chicken is a bit smaller than what you get at Popeyes but there are 4 pieces instead of 3. It was good, but I'm not sure what happened. On a recent visit, we live in Boise, ID and had been looking forward to a trip to Bojangles during our stay. The food itself was ok, the service was absolutely horrible, we didn't get our complete order (it was a fairly good size order) and wouldn't recommend this location to anyone We got the tailgate meal, added some extra biscuits that were smashed ‍ and only received 9 of the 12 PCs of chicken. Drive thru seemed very slow and the quality of the speaker was pretty bad. That said, I liked the supremes, the BBQ sauce, and the seasoning of the fries. Came here at 6:30, had a 20 minute long line, and when I got to the register they had ran out of just about everything except sides. Not only that but they were locking people inside which is against COVID regulations. And by the time I got the fries (about 15 minutes) they were cold. I'd say the long line of people stretching from the counter to the door speaks for itself. For my lunch combo, the chicken was crisper and juicier - the wing had some pinfeathers left on it. The biscuit is less greasy but drier than I've had elsewhere. I was not prepared for the coleslaw to be so sweet, not a fan. I'm not sure who does their unsweet iced tea, but I liked that as well. I think it would help if the cashier were able to give you a printed receipt of what you ordered, because you have to remember, and you're essentially on the honor system at the other end where you pick up your meal. This chain/ place is very good! You may ask, why the 4 stars? Well, I ate here two days in a row. Not the healthiest choice...sodium wise. Bojangles must have some sort of alliance with the Morton's Salt company. Anyway...all my meals were very tasty and the service here, friendly. My two meals consisted of a Country Ham Biscuit (Day 1) and a Biscuit Filet (Day 2). All eaten as though they had been sent from the gods. The biscuits on both days were light and airy and the ham and the chicken they contained were very good. I even thought the ham had been carved in the back...it probably wasn't. The tea here is also good. Day-1, I had un-sweet. Day-2, I had sweet though I ordered un-sweet. I think I stole the sweet tea from the guy in line behind me. Hey, I was in a hurry!! Anyway. Should you come here to eat? The answer is...YES! Should you come here two days in a row? Well, that depends on whether you have high blood pressure or want your ankles to swell. The bf warned me about this place, he told me after my first visit I would not be allowed to eat here again until I was pregnant, it's not what you'd call waist line friendly food, but my god, SO GOOD! Again, not knowing what to order, I let him handle it, and my god, I have never been so happy with him! I had the chicken biscuit, with hash browns and a lemonade. I cannot express how good this fast food breakfast was. Even now, almost 2 months later, thinking about it makes my mouth water! The bf got the same thing, along with these delicious, gooey blueberry biscuits, of which he allowed me one bite, and again, so good! I'd say this is more 2.5. I had been raving about Bojangles to my family for so long that when we all went on vacation to South Carolina, they were more than happy to stop for lunch. Well, I guess I should have been more specific. Bojangles for breakfast foods only. Their lunches are WAY too greasy. I ordered the fried chicken, thigh and leg meal with a side of green beans. The chicken had a nice spicy flavor to it, but it was extremely greasy. The beans tasted like canned green beans that had been dumped into water and boiled and that's it. The biscuit was amazing as always, though, and definitely the high point of my meal. Also, I have to mention that the staff was extremely efficient in both the ordering and preparing of our meal. The location was average on cleanliness, but the bathroom is where it tanked for me. The one stall had no lock on the door and the other stall was occupied so I had to use the door with no lock. When I came out to wash my hands, I saw that it was an employee who had been in the other stall. (Thankfully) she had just finished washing her hands and exited the bathroom, but she left the sink a complete mess. It may have been a mess before she got there, but how hard is it to take a few paper towels and just wipe all the water off from around the sink? I do it all the time where I work. read more
