Gotta give this fast food spot 5 stars. I don't generally review corporate fast joints, but I will make exceptions. Especially if I've never been to a particular place. This was my first time trying Bojangles. They're really popular for their chicken biscuit sandwiches but offer a few other things as well. They were drive thru only and had some great customer service. I asked for a minute to order since I was still completely clueless on what I wanted. She replied with "take your time." Wow! That made me feel very comfortable and that allowed me to order with no pressure. We ordered their right price box of chicken and it came with four biscuits. The biscuits were very soft and buttery, truly tasted homemade unlike some of these other fried chicken joints that serve some dry ass biscuits. These were so good. The fried chicken was some of the best fried chicken I've have ever had period. The chicken wasn't greasy, and had a crispy and perfectly seasoned outside and the chicken was very juicy and tender on the inside. The chicken tasted so fresh. I also ordered a chicken w/ pimento cheese biscuits sandwich which tasted phenomenal as well. Unfortunately, we don't have Bojangles in Chicago. Next time I'm in the south, and I see a Bojangles, I will definitely be making a quick stop.

We kept seeing these everywhere with long lines so we decided to try it. It was good- I read online the biscuit sandwich was the best so we tried that. It wasn't anything I would need to go back for. Being from the west coast I actually though KFC was better. The staff was very nice and helpful. Tip: their dipping sauce size is large so you don't need very annual.

    Two orders! Yummy!

Good hot fresh food and fluffy biscuits. Customer service was good, the young man was pleasant.

Easy in, easy out. 2 takeout windows running...1st window for payment, 2nd for food pickup. Friendly staff and line moved quickly. NOTE: it can get busy here and line will wrap around the building and into the street at times...but when you need your Bo's, shut up and wait. Your turn will come.

The first Cook Out restaurant opened in Greensboro, NC in 1989. They opened their first non-NC store in SC in 2010, and has continued to grow till now reaching over 360 locations around the South. All their ground beef is delivered fresh to each store, adhering to their motto of "Always Fresh, Never Frozen". We visited this location, in the heart of the tourist zone in Myrtle Beach. Only their drive-thru and walk-up are open, with their dining room continuing to be closed (though they have a few picnic tables in their parking lot). They are known for their burgers and milkshakes, a formula used by practically every successful burger shack. Their combo meals are called 'trays', so we got two regular trays. First ($7.99) consisted of a Big Dbl with grilled onions and cheese (+0.55), added tomato (+0.10). The sides were white cheddar bites (tasted similar to fried cheese curds) and fries (skin-on). I upgraded the beverage from a soda to a Oreo Mint Shake (+1.50). Added a side of hush puppies for $1.99. Second ($7.99) was 3 chicken strips, cole slaw, and onion rings with peanut butter fudge upgrade (+1.50). It didn't take too long for the order to completed, bringing it back to eat in our kitchenette back at the resort. It was plenty of food, with the burger being exactly how I like it. The shakes were very thick, and easily savable for later...we ate it like ice cream. All the rest were solid, with generous portions...it's what you would expect from any cafeteria that has a good deep fryer, very good for the price. The cole slaw was just finely diced cabbage which added some needed fiber to the meal. And the hush puppy pieces were very dense, two were plenty for me...it's the ultimate cheap filler food.

I asked about my missing sauces. She kept telling me they're in the bag. I had to tell her more than once they were not. When she realized I wasn't going to let it go, she reluctantly asked me what I needed. The deep sigh that accompanied her asking me what sauces I needed let me know she was aggravated. Next, I ordered a frozen strawberry passion fruit refresher. What got got was complete trash. It tasted like watered-down toilet water with a bunch of melted ice. I tasted neither flavor, and it wasn't frozen. I ordered the "cheese fries". The picture says enough. My biggest issue is paying for Angus Smaasher meat and received regular hamburger meat instead. This is the 6th time this has happened. I've complained to corporate 4 times already. I'll post pics of the "new pineapple heat smasher" with a regular cheeseburger patty placed on top for reference. See pics. At this point, they've done this so much that I'm certain I'm not the only one. At this point, that location is raking in the profit by doing this to people. Lastly, I ordered a new "red, white, blue" drink with extra strawberries. I paid extra. Do you think I got that either?!? No... I didn't. Again, see pics. At this point, I'm no longer going to spend money with this location. It's not worth it. I

The place is comfy, without being oversized. The staff is upbeat and very pleasant. We arrived for a late lunch, early dinner. No I do not remember our Server's name, but I'm sure that is my fault for not concentrating when she told us. But I do remember she was a tall thin build lady, with very dark long hair. (Hope this helps). She understands service, and how to take care of her customers in the extreme heat. As she approached our table, she already had two glasses of ice water. . We placed our drink order. Now remember this place is a Brewery and Pub. So they did not carry a full line bar. But they have all of the basics. So the wife got her Rum with Pineapple. And I had their Citra Ass Down IPA. Both were tasty. The beer had a mild citrus flavor but not overwhelming. While perusing the menu, the wife saw they had a fresh pretzel, and she was sold. Something about a hot salted pretzel that just makes her happy. It came with a beer cheese dip, and a mustard dip. Do yourself a favor. Ask for a second mustard dip. That stuff is addictive. For our main course, she had the wings. BBQ sauces with Ranch. I had the Chicken Shrimp Po Boy with their in-house chips. We would order both again. The wings were large, juicy, and had the right amount of sauce. I would say closer to a glaze on them. My Po Boy was full of well seasoned meat. And had very fresh greens on it. And a nice sauce the complimented, the meat. It didn't cover or overpower. In addition, I am not a toasted roll person. Our Server let the Chef know, and they did not toast my bread. (You'd be surprised how many times I have asked that my bread not be toasted. And how many get it wrong) And to top a really good experience, the owner (a Marine) came out and talked with us for a few minutes. We aren't special. Just a couple of middle aged semi-retired dog lovers. But he took the time to come out and have a conversation. Not just check on his people or business. If you are at Broadway At The Beach, and want something non chain and different. Give this place a try. We will be returning.
