Watied 30 minutes for food and then was not given refund when requested and person was very rude. Will not be back.

I have been a Bojangles fan for decades. The Bojangles chicken and biscuit recipes really tickle my taste buds. That said, the operation of the Bojangles on Andy Griffith Parkway in Mt. Airy has broken me of my craving for Bojangles chicken. I keep trying to give them chances, but every time they find a way to screw it up. They have some of the most unmotivated and sloppy employees I have ever met. Over the last eight years, every time I visit I have come away, disappointed, or angry. The employee attitudes are awful and they just don't care. Yesterday we went to the drive-through and ordered an eight piece box which they told us would take 15 or 20 minutes. We paid at the window and were told to wait on the opposite side of the restaurant and they would bring our food out. After 27 minutes, nobody had come out, And we think it was because it was raining. We went straight from the drive-through to the parking space. They directed us to and waited there, until we couldn't wait anymore. Went inside to check where our missing order was, and saw it sitting on the counter. Unattended. When we asked why they didn't bring it out to us, they claimed we were not there to accept the order which was a pure lie. The truth is, it was raining outside And none of the under motivated lazy rude employees wanted to step outside across the drive-through lane to deliver our food to our car so they just left us to wait for 10 or more minutes after our food was paid for, boxed and ready to go. There is not enough space in a yelp review to summarize eight years of lousy order fulfillment and apathetic service employees that seem to thrive at this Bojangles location. Somehow, the miserable crew that operates this restaurant manages to find a way to screw up any order or come across as unpleasant and bothered by your interaction by ordering. I am still a Bojangles fan, but I will never again order from this location as they have set a high bar for consistent apathetic, lousy, unaccountable Customer Service. Nobody stays at a fast food job for eight years, but management has found a way to keep a consistently apathetic and ill mannered staff For nearly a decade with underwhelming results. Save yourself some time. If you have a craving for a delicious Bojangles biscuit, or some tasty Bojangles chicken, go to Greensboro. Or Winston Salem.Or Raleigh. Or Clayton. Or Charlotte. Just avoid the location in Mt. Airy that is a repeating cycle of failure, disappointment, and disrespect. read more

Cashier bullshitting with people she knows.. swearing with them.. laughing... not taking their orders. After waiting 10 minutes with a very rare spinal cord injury i could not stand there anymore.. another customer left as well. He was on his lunch break and didn't have time to wait for their games either. The dirty look the cashier and her people gave us as we walked out the door was absolutely un-called for!!! read more

The service has gotten absolutely horrible. Everytime you go the employees are always rushing and impatient.

I wish you could give negative stars because that is what this location deserves. We were on our way to the beach and always like to stop at a bojangles along the way. We regret this stop. It was a Sunday around lunch time so yes it would be busy but this wait was outrageous. The staff was highly inappropriate with off color conversations and not much attention to the long line growing. Once we finally got our food it was less than good quality and taste. read more

Giving them one star is more than they should receive! We picked up the 12 piece family meal with seasoned fries, mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, biscuits and sweet tea in the drive thru. First, the chicken and fries seemed as though they had been sitting for hours. Both NASTY and disposed of! The gravy we received, after being asked what we wanted, was wrong! They gave me sausage gravy. No one in the family likes it. The only things salvageable were the coleslaw, biscuits and tea. I tried calling several times to tell them about our experience and no one answered. We definitely won't be going back, again! read more

Ordered food on Bojangles app 35 minutes before pickup time - received email confirmation 1 minute later When got to store they had not received order, so no food - cancelled order and left - charges still went thru my bank with no refund - now have to dispute charge - told by Bojangles manager this has happened before read more

They can't get your order correct, then they just hand you boxes of food to take no bag or anything, the last time I ate the didn't have the food I ordered and I ask for a replacement and still gave me the wrong cold foo read more

The quality of the food served at this location has gone down. I ordered a 12 piece bow with Pintos and Coleslaw. The chicken pieces was much smaller. They were over breaded and extremely over cooked. The Pintos were much smaller than a normal Pinto Bean. I did not get the value for my money. read more

This is the slowest restaurant in NC! And the employee at the drive thru window was rude! They didn't what I ordered which was shocking seeing as I waited in line for 15 minutes! I'll not return. read more

These people can never get it right. I swear I've never delt with such a shitty restaurant in my life. Its always something I seriously have no idea how this place is still open. I used to work at Bojangles and can tell you this place shouldn't be open or needs new management. Almost worth the drive to king just to get a decent meal from this food chain. I don't usually write reviews but this is the third time they have up-charged me for a club and gave me a plain sandwich. Its not hard at all to read a screen and get this shit right. This is one of very very many complaints i could write and have a hand-full of people that feel the same. read more

The best chicken tenders. Food was on point and Cloe had great service. Recommend anyone from Florida to try the food here.

I went through the drive-through today and the lady who was giving us our food and that we were paying was very disrespectful did not speak a word she was yawning in the drive-through door acting very immature she had both of her elbows spread out at the drive-through door read more

Plenty of fast food to choose from but if you're from the south then Bojangles is a must have. Sure to cure any morning blues the Cajun fillet biscuit is a staple here and definitely worth your 5 bucks. If you're not as hungry go with the supremes kids meal. Best chicken for the price in the fast food world. This location is clean and the staff are friendly. Food came out in great time and there was nothing I could find wrong with the place! Every time I'm in town Bojangles is on the radar amid the copious amount of fast food places in proximity. read more

Slow service couldn't get my order correct as they were trying to bring it out. Said it would only take five minutes. Ended up to be more like 20 and they gave me no receipt or my pimento cheese side. Nor would they answer the phone when I tried to call back once I realized I was missing something. Would not recommend the night time service at this location. read more

Shelia the manager was so very kind!! We had originally placed our order at the Bojangles in King, NC and were told it would be ready for pickup at stated time, giving them an hour and a half. Needles to say King Bojangles fell through so I called The store in Mount Airy, I told Shelia what had happened and she more than made up for the failure at the other store. Thank you Shelia!! Your kindness and customer service is outstanding! read more

Bojangles is a southern thing. It's kinda like In and Out is to Ca or something. Not sure how big the chain is or even where the home office is. I think it is in Charlotte. Its like a KFC with flavor. The fried chicken is a little spicier and thcker crust that KFC. And now that KFC has decided the way to make money is by serving drummettes in place of drumsticks, Bojangles pieces are huge. I go here most mornings on the way to work for the biscuit and gravy and sometimes return for the three pc meal on lunch. They got seasoned homefries that are to die for. Plus they have packets of Texas Pete. Wheres your hot sauce KFC? Right now a two pc meal is 3 bucks. Half a chicken, coleslaw, and a biscuit for three bucks. Plus we got Jake Delhomme as a spokespeson. Go Panthers. Just dont go as far as Tampa please. read more

Not the best Bojangles, but not the worst either. The food is decent but the location is inconvenient and the service can be problematic at times. read more

I've been to this location more times than I should have. The food is ok I suppose when you can get it. I've been there usually between 530-7. Peek dinner hours in my opinion. They are always understaffed with one person taking the orders and the same person trying to fill the orders. They ignore you at times. Just poorly managed. Probably not returning. read more

Best place for breakfast in town. Of course their sausage biscuit is like no other and by far the best I've ever had.
