The Chicken Souvlaki plate--with lemon potatoes, rice pilaf, and a Greek salad topped with feta cheese and Kalamata olives--was as good as my mother's! The salad pita, potato and tzatziki were great. Rice was meh. Salmon and shrimp were overcooked. The shrimp especially. The service, Jackie D. Was decent, but seemed a little out of focus. Overall, it was good but could have been better with some small attention to detail.

I've…read morebeen down here the past couple summers, and every time I've swung by Cookout, it's hit the spot. Look--this is fast food, so I'm not expecting a white tablecloth experience. But even with expectations set low, Cookout has consistently impressed me. The first time I ordered hot dogs, I'll admit I was a little thrown off. I'm from Michigan, so when we say hot dogs, we're usually talking Coney-style--mustard, chili, onions. At Cookout, I got these bright pink hot dogs with slaw. Totally different vibe. But I've gotta say... they were delicious. I've ordered them more than once now, from different Cookout locations, and they've been solid every time. Bottom line: If you're expecting a gourmet meal, you're in the wrong place. But if you want good food fast, and you're open to something a little different, Cookout delivers. I'm a fan, and I'll keep coming back.

My Burger was fantastic and the fries were hot and extra Ketchup and Salt were provided. My Soft drink was just as I order it and it was refreshing to taste. This was my first time eating here, but my wife had been here before when they came out on Roller Skates. ( Shows our Age )...... Then, this year happened. I wish I knew what happened, but Odell's is BACK! They have the same yummy food they were known for and the service is great! They are so friendly and prompt. We always joking called it "Slow-dells" because of how they would take 45 minutes to bring the food AFTER you called it in prior to driving there. Now, we pulled up and placed the order and it was out piping hot within 10 minutes. Absolutely amazing! I don't know what they changed, but they've cracked the code and I wish them all the success in the world! Our food: Mom got a cheeseburger basket, which was perfect! Husband and Dad got Big Moe baskets, again perfect. I got a hotdog (for old time's sake) and it was everything I remembered as a kid. So delicious and nostalgic. I also had a chicken tender basket and it was good. It wasn't the same chicken tenders and bbq sauce that it used to be, but like most places, that is hard to keep the exact same over the years, especially with varying food service providers and whatnot. If you previously had stopped going here, give them another chance. You'll be pleasantly surprised!

It was very cold where we were sitting and the server allowed us to move to a warmer spot. We ordered a fried mushroom appetizer. This was very good. They came with ranch and I think it was the horseradish sauce. The orangish sauce was very good. I ordered 1/2 rack of dry ribs with mac & cheese and green beans, and 2 hushpuppies. You get a choice of Texas toast, hushpuppies, or rolls. My coworker ordered salmon. When the food came out, my ribs were wet. I told the server that I had ordered dry rub. He stated they were dry but had sauce on them. I'm sorry, that is not a "dry rib", in my opinion. The first piece of rib meat I ate was soft and juicy. The next two were super dry and I could not eat any more of them. My coworker joked that that was probably what they were referring to when they said "dry rub". The green beans were ok. I added a ton of pepper and some hot sauce. I saved the mac & cheese for lunch the next day. The hushpuppies were dense and needed a little more flavor. My coworker commented that her salmon was ok but nothing to write home about. I should have went with my first instinct and ordered from the kids menu. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is nice.

The establishment itself is rather messy. I wouldn't say dirty, but tons of tables empty and un-wiped. Bits and pieces of trash here and there.
