Bojangles is hit or miss with the locations. Some locations are better than others but this location is hit or miss when it comes to their fries. It's to the point where I would rather just order the Bo rounds instead from now on. The steak biscuits and the sausage biscuits and chicken biscuits are awesome. Sweet tea is like gold as usual will all locations. Overall I give them 3 stars. The plain biscuits let me down though...I tried the plain biscuits with some honey and they were not soft enough for my liking. Customer service was horrible on 12/27/25 at 7:30am the person in drive thru was extremely rude. They got my order wrong and accused me of ordering French fries for breakfast. Not sure how that happened, I would never order French fries for breakfast I was told I did. Let it be known the word French fries never entered my mind or mouth. She was upset because my order had to be done right. She was livid, condescending, and boldly snatched my bag out my hand. Then when I was ready to pay, the tap did not work. She said its because I have a android phone and not apple. That is ridiculous , she was trying to give me a hard time. I visited Bojangles for breakfast around 8:00AM on Saturday morning. I went thru the drive-thru since it was only two cars ahead of me. The service was quick and the Cashier was nice. I ordered the Southern Chicken Egg and Cheese Biscuit regularly $3.59. The Egg is 0.70 cent extra and the cheese is 0.50 cent extra for a total of $4.79. The sandwich was served fresh and hot. The food is very good when they manage to get it right. I can't count the number of times when I have gotten grits instead of Bo'Rounds, meat has been left out, or utensils /condiments have been left out. The customer service is wary, and service recovery is non-existent. They don't listen so much as respond to what they think you would say, and it's all to supposedly rip them off. Turnaround time is not very good, and even worse if you get breakfast. The prices have gone up several times in the past year, and I've had enough. It is now to the point that Waffle House is just a little more expensive and comparable to prep time, as well. I almost forgot one of the main reasons that there is no reason to go to this location: You know how we get the apps to all of these places so that we get rewarded for our loyalty, and get offers? This is a rant because the food is always fresh and hot. I've never been left missing any item nor has any of it ever been made poorly. The cooks at this location are absolutely terrific. And even with all those accolades there's this one thing that serves all that goodness up on a big dirty trash can lid. And that's the level of enthusiasm in the interactions with customers. I was inclined one day to ask why this woman running the drive thru is so demure and flat. No energy, no smile, no pleasant greeting...her entire energy (if it could talk) seems to say, "Here's your food, BYE..." This was a wonderful visit to one of my favorite restaurants. I love Bojangles food, so does my friend, so we went looking for one near by. This was my first visit to this restaurant, and from first glance at the long drive through, that was an indication that this was a good place to eat. Once walking into the restaurant, you see 3 very large trophies on the counter, so that indicated to me they are one of the top Bojangles in the area. The staff was very friendly, especially the manager and owner. We had the pleasure to meet him, and he was very warm and friendly. I think the manager is his wife, who is also extremely friendly. She reminds me of my grandmother. She came to everyone's table and checked in them. She came over to talk to us, cleaned off our table, and had small talk with us. I liked that very much. They finally got this joint open! Looks nice on the outside, it's huge! I paid them a visit on their 5th day in business. As you may know, there aren't many Bojangle's in Atlanta and this is, I think, their second attempt to penetrate the market here. It's safe to say though that a lot of people have been anticipating the grand opening of this location. Including yours truly! I swear, there had to be like 15 cars in the drive thru when I arrived around 4pm. So I decided to go inside. The inside was no better, about 30 people in line! I had time so I waited and talked with other customers in the line, which happened to be moving fast. They probably had ALL HANDS ON DECK in the back because there had to be 20 employees working. I finally made it to the register and ordered a 3pc mixed with dirty rice and green beans for sides. I gotta say, my order came out quick, and everything was fresh and hot, but the taste of the chicken...left a lot to be desired. To me, it was bland. The skin was crispy and flaking off all over the place. The actual pieces were a good size. It just didn't seem seasoned enough. Reminded me of the taste of Church's without all the grease and fatty patches. The sides on the other hand, were bursting with flavor and seasoning! Probably the best in the biz, of the popular chicken joints that is. The dirty rice was bomb! The green beans were awesome! The biscuit...just blah. So both the chicken and the biscuits, which they are supposed to be famous for....was nothing special to me. Oh the sweet tea was BANGIN' too! I would recommend however, that you check your order before leaving or pulling off because it seems someone there doesn't know their chicken pieces. I asked for a breast, a thigh, and a wing. I got 2 thighs and a wing in the box! They happily made the correction, but as I was eating, I overheard someone else complaining that their pieces were wrong as well. I've been to this location twice since it opened and I have been pleased with my food on both occasions. As a word to the wise, when you come here bring you patience because usually they have quite a line. There's been major buzz and excitement around the restaurant, I guess since we don't have many in GA. The 2 times I went, I was able to get through the drive thru in and out in a little less than 10 minutes which is not terrible considering that the line is usually so long. I've had the sausage biscuit, the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and the sweet potato pie so far. The biscuits are really flaky, buttery and delicious! I really have no complaints about them. They keep me wanting more so what more could I ask for. I had to throw some jelly on my sausage biscuit because it needed little bit more to it since all it is, is a sausage sandwiched in a biscuit like the name says! It's 2 for $2.99 though. For those that enjoy sweet tea, it was .99 when I went. I don't drink that stuff so I can't tell you how it tastes (I'm from NY so I prefer the powdered iced tea from Pathmark. What you know about that?!). The Sweet potato pie has changed my life both times I tried it. It is so deliciously warm, flavor and mmm mmmm good. I definitely recommend that you try it if you go. From California so I never heard of this place lol. I had a bad experiences at Popeyes, and an even worse one at church's chicken. I was on the hunt for some fried chicken and stumbled across this place. Spicy chicken to be exact lol. I was greeted when I came in the building by who seemed to be he manager. To be honest I was hiring to leave because I was so skeptical lol. Especially when he said there's no spicy, or original just Cajun seasoning. By customer servicing me he convinced me to try. Literally the worst customer service that i've ever had at a bojangles and i've been to plenty. The wait is at LEAST 30 minutes long IN THE DRIVE THRU. The workers are rude and SLOW. And they make you pay a whole dollar for a sauce. Literally the most annoying experience i've had with a bojangles.
