This place looks deserted at times but they are indeed open. I ordered 3pc (2 thighs and 1 leg) with dirty rice, biscuit, sweet tea, and bo berry biscuits. They gave me hot sauce. The chicken was fried correctly but it barely had any flavor. The dirty rice had some flavor but was better with hot sauce. Sweet tea was a high point. My first time visiting a Bojangles located on Senoia road in Fairburn, Georgia. My order was completely wrong and my granddaughter was very upset. I reported the experience to corporate. I received a $15 coupon in the mail. This past Saturday. I tried another Bojangles that's located in Fayetteville, Georgia on I believe South Glen Street was told by the manager there that he could not accept the corporate gift card and they've never been able to. We order via the drive thru, and we're surprised to hear an automated voice (AI). If you need more time to figure out your order (twice), then the automated voice will stop talking and you have to go in reverse and move forward so it can restart. They, as other fast food places, have voice recognition taking orders at the menu board. However, the computerized menu board will give you the wrong total. I tried to pay cash at the pickup window which threw the human cashier in a state of "cannot compute". I'm glad we tried this Bojangles location yesterday. If you're on Buford Highway I recommend stopping at this one instead of the Doraville location, if you can manage it. I've only been here once so far, but it was a much better experience than the two Uber Eats orders I've had from the other location. The staff was very nice and all spoke in a pleasant tone. At first, the drive-thru cashier assumed I was done ordering and didn't ask if I wanted anything else besides the 8pc family meal I got. That's completely understandable as I'm sure most people just order that and they're done. However, I wanted a few tenders too, so I ordered a kid's meal on the side. I was super tired yesterday, otherwise I would've remembered to get the biscuit and gravy or other items I normally go for, but this was enough for me. I only had to wait about five minutes for my kid's meal to finish being prepared and the worker brought it out to me by the side door. They were so thoughtful to include cups, napkins, utensils, ketchup and hot sauce without me even asking. This is the first Bojangles location that has ever done this for us. Everything in the order was accurate, fresh, and tasty. The biscuits were not as soft as at the other locations, but hey, at least they were not forgotten entirely like at the Doraville location! I would definitely come to this Bojangles again. Aldi is right next door too, so if you need to grab anything from the store with dinner, then you're all set. read more

As a West Coast native, Bojangles was definitely a must-go-to spot when visiting Georgia. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was considering it is a fast food joint. We ordered fried chicken and biscuits (both regular and with blueberry(?) jam). I still distinctly remember how good the fried chicken was both by itself and when dipped in honey mustard. Once we finally received it they forgot items of food and the sauces. This was my first time at Bojangles and I was dragged by a friend who is obsessed. Good: this location was very clean and well kept. The food was also delicious. I had the kids chicken tenders, Mac n' cheese, and green beans. I was very impressed by the side options, especially for a fast food restaurant. We also had regular biscuits and the Bo'berry biscuit, both of which were amazing. There was a ton of food, even though I got a kids meal and I couldn't finish everything. Not so good: I have really embraced my inner Atlantan and will only drink Coke products. They serve Pepsi here, though their tea is very good, which provides another alternative to the Pepsi. Finally, the mac n' cheese wasn't very hot, but I think that is the nature of their serving containers. I think if you came at prime time, which we did not, you wouldn't have this issue. read more

Historically I have always enjoyed Bojangle's Chicken. I was especially happy to see a new one opening up not too far from where I live, so I decided to treat myself to some bad-for-you food for lunch today. My first impression was not so good, as I sat in front of the drive through speaker for 5 minutes and nobody was willing to take my order. I decided to not worry about this little issue and pulled around to go into the restaurant and place my order. Service was a little slow, but not horrid. After I received my food and sat down, I attempted to bite into the chicken; I found that the breading was WAY overcooked. So much so, that I felt like I was chipping my teeth as I attempted to gnaw my way through the exterior coating. I finally gave up on that, and chiseled the breading away from the chicken... and fortunately the chicken itself was not too shabby. So, sorry new Bojangles, you get 2 stars from me. However, I know that this is grand-opening week & there may be some teething pains associated with new employee & cook training. I have been a big fan of Bojangle's for years. Recently however there have been some changes. The Cajun Filet biscuit in now a very thin slice of chicken, about as thin as sliced bacon, with a thick coating of breading with no flavor. The fried chicken has become flavorless and the country ham has a spoiled taste. Nearly all Bojangel's restaurants closed about 20 years ago and then started returning a few years later. My first experience at a Bojangles was excellent. I arrived very early in the AM when the restaurant was just opening. The woman at the drive-thru was courteous and pleasant. my order consisted of hot crispy potato hashbrowns and a bacon egg cheese biscuit. The biscuit was light, warm and buttery. The egg tasted fresh and was not too greasy. The bacon was crisp and flavorful. I was really impressed with the quality. I am usually reluctant to order my favorite which is the breast because some locations over cook them but these were just right not one burnt or hard fry which was another shock.
