The food was pretty ok, loco moco tasted very home cooked, which was not bad! The patty was well seasoned, but the gravy was a bit bland. It was well balanced when eating it altogether. The kualoa pork breakfast burrito was interesting to try, although, the green sauce they added made the overall taste a bit confusing. So I enjoyed it without the green sauce. The pork could be softer, but it was an interesting take. Overall, the food was okay, but the girl handling the cashier, cleaning tables, and serving the food is working hard! The same thing happened on our second visit, and we were honestly heartbroken. However, Sunny (I think that was his name) went above and beyond to make sure we still got to experience their food. He kindly gave us samples of the Spam musubi and fried chicken to take home. That's 100% top-notch customer service right there! Since then, we've returned twice more with friends, and the food has been absolutely amazing. The shrimp is hands-down my favorite, and the karaage chicken with the green sauce is super addictive. I also finally got to try the crispy Spam musubi, which was unique and delicious . We'll definitely keep coming back. In fact, I'm tempted to throw a party just so I have an excuse to cater from them! Even though they're located inside a food hall, you can take your food and enjoy it anywhere in The Enclave's spacious outdoor seating area, which makes it a great spot to hang out and enjoy a meal with friends.

Tomizo added tsukemen to their menu, and they have the best tsukemen in the area. It's a very rich heavy fatty tsukemen, and it blows away everywhere else's tsukemen in the area. The portions are always extremely generous as well. The most important thing is, they use actual tsukemen noodles, they are fat and thick, while a lot of places near here give you ramen noodles for their tsukemen. The other thing I absolutely love about this place is that they have seasonal ramen, and while I'm not a huge fan of some of them, other times they are just amazing. The current seasonal ramen is a cold cream tonkotsu style, and it is absolutely divine. My partner got it last night and it was so good, I wanted to come back tonight to get an order of it myself. I absolutely hope they decide to add it to their main menu permanently, because a cold ramen dish would be a god send to have readily available. The staff are all wonderful, incredibly attentive, and are all very cheerful and upbeat. The music variation changes quite a bit. Sometimes it'll be vocaloid heavy, other times it'll be very late 90s sounds of Tokyo (Fantastic Plastic Machine, Pizzicato Five), or sometimes an early 2000s jpop play list. As someone a little older I don't think there's ever been a time I didn't enjoy the music being played. They also always have dodgers games (reruns during the offseason) playing on a tv for the local fans. The only real bad thing about Tomizo is the parking lot is tiny and shared with a sushi place that can get busy. So parking can be difficult sometimes.

A medium was perfect for me and a large was great for my friend. Love that we got to choose our portion size and price! From top to bottom, the vision of Urban Comfort Foods shines clearly through. Food quality is good, but today's portions were significantly smaller than before. For a 32 oz bowl and paying extra for salmon, I received more like a 16oz bowl of food (see photo comparisons). Not cool! I literally counted 5 brussel sprouts. I had half a scoop of greens and barely enough jollof rice to cover the bottom of the bowl. I watched the lady scoop up sides then pour half of them in my bowl and the other half back into the warmers. The young gentleman also skimped on the toppings. He added about teaspoon of roasted garlic, also barely noticeable on top of my food. He didn't say a word, didn't ask if I wanted extras, nothing. He moved so quickly that I barely caught him in time to ask for dressing on the side as he flipped the bottle upside down ready to pour. I had to ask for shito peppers and relish jam as well while he proceeded to place the lid on the bowl to be bagged up. Part of this was because the lady at the register (super friendly) had input my order and was providing me with the total, while I was trying to watch preparation of my bowl. I appreciate the efficiency. BUT!! I'd rather service to be slower and correctly done than rush and not have food to my liking. Had I not jumped to the register, I would've certainly asked about the significant decrease in food portions compared to my previous orders. Super yummy 4 stars Fried wontons: these were just ok. Maybe it's because I'm like deep fried foods less and less as I get older. Who knows. 3 stars Old fashioned noodles: it's just noodles but seasoned really tasty. It's. It not spicy so you'll need to add your hot sauce if you like to live on the edge. 4 stars Frozen dumplings: I got the cabbage and pork dumplings in a bag. It's $25 for 50.
