Plenty of parking and the place is clean, spacious and simple well decor. Staff are wonderful, friendly and attentive. Menu is on app and once you decided, staff will come over and take the order. Quick turnaround and the portion is quite generous. It is for individual pot and the spicy dipping sauce is on the table for you to do per your liking. The broth is quite nice and tasty. The meats are thinly sliced and well portioned. We tried the lamb, the beef, and the pork and all are very good. Especially with all the spices mixed together.

I love coming to this spot to get my hot pot fix. The parking is a bit small for this location so that's a bit frustrating. This location is big, spacious, and clean. I usually come during lunch time on weekdays so I've never had an issue with getting seated right away. Their pots come with rice or vermicelli and spice can be adjusted. My favorite is the beef pot. Their sauces pair really well. I love the garlic with the soy. The workers aren't too attentive, but they'll come right away when you flag them down. During lunch, they offer green tea or black tea with your hot pot order. They have sides you can order to add in to your pot as well.

I love Boiling Point! This location was the closest to our hotel, so we decided to give it a shot. It was pretty empty when we got there and it got really busy once we left. The inside looks like every Boiling Point I've been to. The service was good! The trainee was really attentive to our table and got us what we needed. We had a really enjoyable time with our friends before we all departed our separate ways! The food was good! I always order the beef hot pot and it's good enough for me to never be curious about any of the other options. I did regret not going mild; I didn't realize medium would be a little too hot for me. Other than that, it was really tasty! I feel like Boiling Point everywhere is the same. The only thing that's really different per location is the service and the wait times.

Been enjoying this hot pot spot recently and always feels good having this during the winter time. There's always a 15-30 minute wait and I'm not a big fan of the parking situation in the lot. Good thing is for the wait time, their service is very fast to get your food. I've had their Beef soup and Japanese Miso. The Miso is more expensive than the beef but I would probably go with the beef next time. What I noticed was their ingredients are kind've low quality. The beef is fatty and feels cheap compared to other hot pot spots. The noodles are in a bag which I don't like at all, would rather just it be in the soup or a cup. Maybe it's for sanitary reasons. Overall it's a solid place to get hot pot, would go there if I was craving boiling point or nearby. If it were to go against other hot pot restaurant, this one loses out.

we called in asking if the rose milky was still available (tends to run out) and there were 4 left! no waitlist and not busy for a tuesday evening. i got my rose milky and bf got the thai (if u like lemongrass/ tom yom) both mild. never have gotten to go, always finished yerrr

Boiling point has always been a comfort spot, whether I'm eating with family or catching up with a friend! I like this location much more than the Brookhurst one that's super cramped and always seems to be understaffed. This location is much more spacious and service is so quick! I always get the same thing every time: the beef pot with mild/medium spice depending on the day, and a bowl of rice. I love all of the toppings it comes with and usually have enough leftovers to take home for a whole other meal. I noticed the last time I went though, the broth was a bit blander than usual and tasted like it was watered down. I wonder if it's because we came about an hour before closing and they were running out or something. Regardless, I'm hoping it was just a fluke because I've never had that happen before. My favorite part of this place is their sauces. I could literally eat anything as long as it's dipped in the boiling point sauce!

Spicy Fermented Tofu - 3/10 would not get again. We prefer crispy stinky tofu so this was too soggy for us.

We eat at Boiling Point all year long, whether it's hot or cold outside! We've been coming to this location since it first opened (and have visited plenty of other BP spots before). This one is spacious with a good number of tables, which makes it easy to get seated, especially on weekdays. Service can be a bit hit or miss, which is something I've noticed across most BP locations, but when we come for dinner on weekdays, it's usually not too busy and the staff here tend to be more attentive and check in regularly. Our go-to order is the Beef Hot Soup and Lamb Hot Soup! The taste and quality is always consistent, which keeps us coming back. And of course, you have to eat their sauces!

This location is much more spacious than the one on Brookhurst. Parking is also a breeze as it's in a plaza. I enjoyed dinner here with my cousin on a Thursday evening. Service was friendly and super attentive throughout our meal. They continuously refilled our water cups and asked if we needed more broth. We both ordered the Beef Hot soup which they asked if we each wanted a side of rice or vermicelli noodles. She enjoyed a lychee green tea and I got milk tea. The food was delicious and I loved each component that was in my soup. Would love to return again soon!

I've always loved Boiling Point, and this visit was no exception! The food, service, and ambiance were all excellent. The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Right now, they're running a special promotion from 8/7/25 to 9/7/25--just mention the code "Jennifer" and you'll receive a free appetizer and a free drink. I believe you can use the code in any locations. We ordered two hot pots and were pleasantly received additional complimentary drinks as well! https://www.bpgroupusa.com/menu/GG2

Ordered the beef hotpot again. Boiling Point's hotpot are consistent at all locations which I appreciate!

I've been to this location a couple of times and there's never a wait which I really like. It's very spacious with a good amount of indoor seating. The workers are very nice and attentive, the food doesn't take long after ordering. On your birthday, you can redeem a free pot and drink with proof of ID. ig: @cravingswithcat

We like this spot especially on a cold or rainy night! Dont be shy and ask server to turn off your pot as it can get really hot during your meal! I usually order #3 Korean Bean Paste or #5 Lamb hot pots!

Cody L.

I had a very mixed experience. I got the lamb soup which had great flavour and was very comforting. Service on the other hand was unusual to say the least. Servers seemed a bit forgetful, thought it was a busy night to be fair. Nothing terrible, just off. Also got the cumin lamb appetizer which tasted good but came out cold. Not sure if thats standard practice but it caught me off guard.

Really great individual hot pot deal for weekday lunch. It's $14.99 for the pot and a kumquat drink…read moreso it's such a good deal, especially in comparison to Boiling Point which the prices for have gone up recently and there's always a long line there. I also love the unique flavor options here! I really enjoyed the Mongolian lamb pot, the flavor of the broth was good and the lamb wasn't too gamey. The Thai style one was like a tom yum soup base. Both pots came with endless amounts of toppings and a choice of vermicelli or rice. I love individual hot pot because you can try a little bit of a lot of different things. Service was fast and efficient and the interior is spacious and clean. I'll definitely be back when I get my next hot pot craving!

The picture on the menu shows a piece of grilled salmon but what they brought out was totally different. Thank god, it was good anyway. Sister and I trying to order the same hot pot I ordered before and owner told us no, we cannot swap the pork belly out on the Thai hotpot. Told him I was able to do that before. He said "I'm not sure who let you do that but no, we do not allow that." I told him "you did, you let me swap the pork belly for the lean beef the previous time. I still have a picture of it on Yelp". Anyhow, he insisted No. We went ahead and ordered two beef hotpot's and the broth was salty. We had to pour some water in the hotpot to soften up the saltiness. Second incident: I came here on Thursday evening. Walked in that door at 9:10 pm and the server quickly told me: "No, we already had our last call!" Say what? the sign on the door says open til 10:00 pm and it is only 9:10 pm? If you don't want to serve late, then change your hours listed on the door and close those doors at 9:00 pm instead. Whenever I'm in Garden Grove, Korean and Vietnamese cuisine will always take precedence. However,…read moremy most recent trip pivoted from the norm, and Noodle Star became the destination. The end result? Reasonable prices, warm service, and very tasty food. Like so many Chinese restaurants, the name and theme is inherently confusing. Up until last year, the place was Harbor Garden and it's rebranded to Noodle Star ever since. The Chinese name ("川粵" aka "Chuan Yue") would imply there is a Sichuan + Cantonese component to the offerings, despite the words "teppanyaki" and handmade noodles (手工麵) noted on the exterior as well as on signs on the interior. Typically any restaurant that dabbles in multiple regional Chinese variations (Sichuan, Cantonese, Shanghainese, Lanzhou, etc.) is a huge flight risk. Surprisingly, it all worked out. All of my orders were from different regions of the country, starting with a Cantonese beef chow fun (乾炒牛河) that was delightfully smokey from the wok hei (#1) and the noodles and beef were silky and smooth. While the noodles aren't as wide as I would have liked, they were still 100% workable in the dish. The Taiwanese style popcorn chicken (鹽酥雞) was wonderfully fried and the chicken was still juicy on the inside. Their napa cabbage + shrimp + pork steamed dumplings (白菜豬肉蝦水餃) were pillowy soft and steamed perfectly. They were plump and not too doughy; which is very appropo for a northern Chinese dish. The biggest surprise may have come from the soup dumplings (小籠包), which had just the right amount of soup and a very delicate dumpling skin that was downright excellent. The service was kind, attentive, and very bilingual with Mandarin and English. Prices might feel high to non-Cali folks, but the spectrum is very much on the Socal average. (#2). Bathrooms were mostly clean and the seating options were plentiful; solid for large and small group action. Parking can be tough on the weekends since it's a strip mall. I already know that I'll be back. If I was able to order 4 regions and they all came out excellent (#3), I can only imagine how excellent the rest of the house special group of dishes will be. __________ (#1) "Essence of the wok" -- it's a thing. (#2) At $15-19 for most dishes. (#3) Did we get lucky?

Passion fruit green tea and this was definitely my favorite thing I ordered that day the drink was so light, refreshing, flavorful, but not too sweet the passion fruit seeds being in the drink was annoying though. (4/5) Spicy XLB they came out quick but I wished they were hotter they were just warm but delicious flavor and filling sadly was not spicy though no kick no heat at all. (3/5) Beef rolls nice and crispy lots of scallions and the cucumbers added a nice fresh aspect and crunch but needed more sauce. (3/5) Pan fried dumplings took the longest to come out were crispy but not that flavorful again very filling though. (2/5) Golden prime beef noodle soup I'm sorry but this was just not for my taste at all I can't even describe what flavor the soup was something I have never had before very unique. The noodles were nice and chewy but again I'm expecting soup to be hot but it just came out warm. (1/5) They had some sauce and chili oil on the table and I made a mix but it did not help add flavor to any of the items. I ordered too much and the leftover beef rolls and pan fried dumplings reheated well in the air fryer.

They had that lighter, slightly chewy texture that stands out compared to the usual. On a random weekday they had a good crowd for lunch, mostly office types from the surrounding buildings. It wasn't hard to get a table, but the food did take a bit longer than expected to come out. Pricewise you aren't looking at a bargain, but it's not unreasonable. I imagine parking might be difficult if it is more crowded as there are a limited number of spots in the parking lot and it has a funky one-way design. This has long been our go-to for Taiwanese comfort food, and while the flavors weren't always 100% authentic, they hit the spot. However, our recent visits have been disappointing. The restaurant has become incredibly "penny-pinching" with their service. I was recently told there would be a $1 charge just for a sprinkle of scallions and another $1 for a small side of clear broth for my dry noodles--requests that were never an issue before. Furthermore, when we ordered extra noodles for my son's beef noodle soup, the original portion seemed intentionally smaller, defeating the purpose of paying for the add-on.
