Shoutout to the management for training their employees so well. I've been here on different days, and every visit has been a good experience. Fast food, no wait on a weekday, and another great experience. Service from Linh and the new trainee (I think his name is Hieu, sorry if I got it wrong!) was amazing. This place is sooo good! I seriously wish they had one in Las Vegas and Hawaii. We ordered the #4 Beef Hot Soup with the upgraded fried rice, and it was so worth it! Overall, my experience at Boiling Point was good, and I want to recognize the staff who made us feel welcome. The tall male employee and Tuyet were both very kind, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. They checked on us, were friendly, and made us feel like valued customers. Unfortunately, one interaction made our experience end on a sour note. I asked our server, Chelsea, if I could have an extra bowl. She gave a small nod, seemed a bit annoyed, and slowly walked away without saying anything. When she brought the bowl back, she simply set it down and left without speaking. I still said thank you, but she did not respond. At first, I thought I might be overthinking it, but my mom also noticed the same behavior, so it was not just me. During our visit, I made eye contact with Chelsea a few times, but she never smiled or acknowledged us. In contrast, every other server we interacted with checked in and asked if we needed anything else. It also felt like her attitude only changed when it was time to handle payment. After that, she followed me out to give me a bag I had forgotten, but still did not say anything and kept a straight face. I understand everyone can have off days, and I do not expect constant enthusiasm, but basic friendliness and communication are important in hospitality. Thankfully, the great service from the rest of the staff, especially Tuyet and the tall gentleman, made the overall experience enjoyable. The whole interaction with our server Chelsea was horrendous. Not even one warm smile (RBF) throughout our whole visit let alone during the initial greeting. She definitely wasn't wanting to be at work that day. The worst of it and borderline disrespectful was when we were clarifying a mix up with the order when the food came out; during mid conversation with Chelsea she basically turned her back to us and walked away as if she was tired of our conversation leaving us stunned. This had ruined the Father's Day dinner outing. Hopefully Chelsea gets the retraining that she desperately needs. read more

I usually come during lunch time on weekdays so I've never had an issue with getting seated right away. Their pots come with rice or vermicelli and spice can be adjusted. My favorite is the beef pot. Their sauces pair really well. I love the garlic with the soy. The workers aren't too attentive, but they'll come right away when you flag them down. I love Boiling Point! This location was the closest to our hotel, so we decided to give it a shot. It was pretty empty when we got there and it got really busy once we left. The inside looks like every Boiling Point I've been to. The service was good! The trainee was really attentive to our table and got us what we needed. We had a really enjoyable time with our friends before we all departed our separate ways! The food was good! I always order the beef hot pot and it's good enough for me to never be curious about any of the other options. I did regret not going mild; I didn't realize medium would be a little too hot for me. Been enjoying this hot pot spot recently and always feels good having this during the winter time. There's always a 15-30 minute wait and I'm not a big fan of the parking situation in the lot. The Miso is more expensive than the beef but I would probably go with the beef next time. What I noticed was their ingredients are kind've low quality. The beef is fatty and feels cheap compared to other hot pot spots. The noodles are in a bag which I don't like at all, would rather just it be in the soup or a cup. Maybe it's for sanitary reasons. Quick turnaround and the portion is quite generous. It is for individual pot and the spicy dipping sauce is on the table for you to do per your liking. The broth is quite nice and tasty. I like this location much more than the Brookhurst one that's super cramped and always seems to be understaffed. This location is much more spacious and service is so quick! I always get the same thing every time: the beef pot with mild/medium spice depending on the day, and a bowl of rice. I love all of the toppings it comes with and usually have enough leftovers to take home for a whole other meal. I noticed the last time I went though, the broth was a bit blander than usual and tasted like it was watered down. I wonder if it's because we came about an hour before closing and they were running out or something. Regardless, I'm hoping it was just a fluke because I've never had that happen before. Boiling point is notorious for inconsistent service and their spice levels always taste different, but that might be more of a corporate issue. The food was delicious, with rich seasoning and very satisfying flavors. Unfortunately, our experience with the service was disappointing because our server, Cristine, was very unfriendly. When we asked for a sauce refill, she served us with rude expression on her face. And then when I asked her for some napkins, another staff member brought them to me before she did. When I told her that I had already received them, my husband saw her turn around with an angry look on her face and throw the napkins she was holding. This behavior was completely inappropriate and unprofessional for a server. If the restaurant has CCTV footage, I encourage management to review her actions. Despite this unpleasant experience, we still left a tip because we truly appreciated the excellent service provided by the male servers. They were friendly, attentive, and professional, which was a complete contrast to the service we received from Cristine. There are movie theater , bowling alley , and they also serve boba inside the restaurant. We got the winter melon tea which was absolutely incredible. We ordered the beef soup which was packed with cabbage, mushrooms, beef, a variety of fish cakes, and vermicelli. The broth can be refilled upon request. I loved the garlic bean and soy sauces at the table. They transformed the soup and made everything 1000x more delicious. I've been to other Boiling Point locations and since I was in the area with my mom after doing some shopping, we decided to come here for lunch. We were seated quickly and after ordering, our food came out. The food was just as good as other spots and I enjoyed the meal. However, while the restaurant wasn't busy - we had a hard time getting the attention of anyone to fill our water, get more napkins, get to-go containers - even to pay the bill. Someone would come by, I would ask for what was needed, and then they'd disappear until I could flag someone else down. After a while, I got tired of having to wait such a long time for everything that I asked for the check and to-go containers. After waiting 10 mins, I paid and left. I could totally understand if the location was packed when we were there - however, as I mentioned before, it wasn't busy. Including me and my mom, there were a total of maybe 10 people; a group of 3 that left in the middle of our time there and a group of 2 that came and sat right next to us. I doubt I will be coming back to this location again. read more
