Marinated galbi, thin pork belly, onions & mushroom.
    Thao Cindy T.

We have been coming here for a couple of decades and love it here. Always top service, VIP treatment until our fav server no longer works there. We'll give it a few more tries since they are adjusting to a new crew. They have a small parking lot but there's always a parking attendant if you need to leave your keys for stack parking. They have great options for their AYCE menus, but we stick to our regulars having been a regular here for years. They have a great variety of side dishes. Love their marinated galbi, thin pork belly and brisket meats. We usually order their tofu soup & steamed eggs (the best)! Steamed rice is also always perfectly made. We get an order of their onions & mushroom, fresh garlic slices & jalapeño, we add brisket sauce and lemon to their salt/pepper sesame oil dipping sauce. Ambience is nice, open space. Just make sure not to wear your best pieces as the Korean bbq smell does stick to your hair & clothes and it lingers. At the end, one of the best parts is you get to enjoy their delicious tart yogurt before heading home.

Showed up around 10:45 pm and last call was at 11:30. We were able to get seated immediately for a party of 7 and began ordering right away. The menu we chose was AYCE for $26 and this had all the standard choices of cuts I enjoy eating. Our table rotated between brisket, beef belly, thinly sliced pork belly, and fresh/thick cut pork belly. Towards the end of our meal, we only ordered thick cut pork belly and beef belly as this was our favorite. Considering that staff and management kept reminding us that we only had until 11:30 to order, the service was quite slow. We ordered several plates of each dish at a time and only a single plate of eat cut would arrive. Before last call, we ordered 4 plates of specific cuts and only one showed up for each cut. I'm not sure how to improve communication but it left us feeling unsatisfied by the end of the night because we could have eaten more. It was quite upsetting because we thought we specified plate number to receive that amount, and even had to ask the server if they could make an exception after last call. Luckily they were able to compensate with 2 plates but it still didn't feel quite enough. Bonchon was served and this was able to get refilled whenever someone was available to come round with the cart. There was good selections to choose from and had good flavor. It was unfortunate because we got seated pretty far in the back of the restaurant which also contributed to slow service. The grill also felt unstable at times and because the grill does not directly have a 'slot' to fit into, it can slide around and leaves open gaps for the heat to seep out from. Caution leaving metal plates and bowels close to the edge as it can heat up fast! As the night came to a close, it felt very rushed again as they were trying to close the register and kick everyone out ASAP. They also kept coming around to remind us that we only had X amount of time before they closed and to finish all meat to avoid a charge. Considering that the service was slow, we didn't get enough to eat, and they kept rushing us, it was not a great dining experience. Before leaving, you can get some blueberry ice cream on the way out. This reminds me of a tart frozen yogurt that is blueberry flavor and was a good way to end the night. Overall, I'd come again but would request to sit a bit closer, come earlier if possible, and be WAY more specific when ordering with staff. Hopefully with more time, it can lead to a more pleasant experience.

First time visit on March 14, 2026 This is a very solid AYCE KBBQ spot where the sides were plentiful and our meat orders came out quickly. The establishment itself is comfortable with a good vibe and they offer free valet (which was really amazing as well. The guy was really nice and helpful). The main reason for 5 stars though (I wish I could give more) was due to our server, Darren(Darin?). He was amazing! He was friendly, engaging, quick, patient...... and best of all he checked in on us often enough that we weren't running out of food but also not too often where it disrupted our feeding frenzy. His service definitely stood out and I hope management recognizes what a star they have in their midst. I hope any customers lucky enough to have Darren(Darin?) as a server tips him super well!

This used to be my favorite restaurant during the mid to late '90's. I can't count the number of times I used to come here with my family. But, that's all in the past. I couldn't believe all the stickers on the door of the entranceway. Luckily when I stepped inside, it was clean. The interior was not how I remembered. It's obviously been renovated and updated since I last remember. My group was the first to arrive. They had just opened at 11:30 AM. There were three young employees. They have a process where they lay out all the side dishes before they seat people at the table. We ordered a combination. It came with an egg dish; tofu soup; white rice; and variety of meats, mostly beef, but some pork. There was quite a bit of fat on the beef that we cut off and discarded. We also ordered a plate of Japchae and seafood pancake. The food was still as delicious as I remembered, it was the fact that we had to keep requesting service that this restaurant gets three stars. We had to request bowls of lettuce; hot barley water; another pair of scissors to cut our meat because the first ones were dull; a new grill because the first one was all black and burnt; more rice wraps; etc. The restaurant is large, but there were maybe 5 separate groups here during the week, at lunch. Parking: They have a large, free parking lot in the back.

We went to the one in Garden Grove. We went right when they opened at 11:30 am. The restaurant was empty but they were slow to seat us - it seemed they set up the table by putting all the sidedishes on the table before seating people. The waitress who attended to our table was very friendly and helpful. The food is average to slightly above average - nothing wowed me but my companions enjoyed the variety of meat we got to order by choosing the 'All you can eat' option. I ordered marinated squid & due to the marinade burning easily, they had to change the grill about 5-6 times but they did not seem to mind & insisted we get a fresh grill whenever the grill started to burn. The sdiedishes are fairly simple & typical - kimchee, fish cake, cucumber salad, & a couple of other vegetables dishes. We got the steamed egg, soon tofu soup & bean paste soup. The flavors were lacking in the soups so I'd forego the soups in the future. Steamed egg was fluffy and good. There was a yogurt machine which was a nice finish to the greasy, meaty lunch. They had original, blueberry & mix yogurt selections. Parking is in the back of the restaurant. By the time we walked out, the cars were double parking so my cousins had to tell the restaurant so the car can be moved to let the cousins' cars move out of the parking lot. I think the front entrance was boarded up as a car had crashed it over a month ago. I guess they are working the details out with the insirance company to replace the front windows & the door.

This has got to be some of the worst customer service ever... no one is at the front to check anyone in. Workers saw a bunch of people waiting and didn't bother checking them in or anything. The waiter was nice and checked just barely enough. But for the price and service this was definitely not worth it... I think ever since covid this place has definitely gone down hill. Pay the price elsewhere for a better experience and meat quality was just average..

I can't seem to get away from this place. I suppose it's easy because the banchan is good and the cost is reasonable $34 for dinner. Service always kind of sucks. They don't staff properly for the size of the place, but otherwise I have no other complaints. Poor servers look so stressed out. The air filters could be better, I always walk out smelling like a carnivores delight. It's a local fav among a bunch of other options in Garden Grove.

    1. The meat options were good quality! I really like the marinated pork belly! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes! The interior is spacious! 3. The staff were friendly and attentive! 4. There are only indoor seatings! There are a lot of tables! 5. Parking lot is medium size! Sports are single-lined and not compact! Note: There are restrooms available for customers! If you get here a little before opening the parking isn't open to the left of the restaurant entrance. You can still get to the parking by driving down Galway St and then making a left into the parking behind the restaurant. We were one of the first people to be seated when they opened at 11:30 on a Sunday. The servers were really nice. They were never too far so we could easily request for things we needed. One of them also cut one of them eats we ordered. They were quick to jump in and replace the grill before we noticed it was getting too burnt. The portions are quite big so we were good with the smaller serving combo for two people. The marinated meat was delicious. It had great flavor. I would have also been happy eating brisket only. It had a fresh taste. The side dishes were alright. We split the egg soup between two people. I wish they had the mashed potato side dish that's in the shape of an ice cream scoop. The water was fresh and didn't have a tap taste. There's also ice cream available but it wasn't offered to us but we were also really full by the end of the meal. The ambiance was alright until families came in with their crying babies.

This is hands-down my favorite Korean BBQ spot. It's actually the first Korean BBQ restaurant I ever tried, and I've been coming back ever since. The food is always great. My favorites are the bulgogi and the marinated chicken. Everything is flavorful, and it's one of those places I keep craving. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, although every now and then you'll get someone who's a little less welcoming. My biggest complaint is that orders aren't written down, so things occasionally get forgotten. Almost every visit, we end up having to remind someone about an item we ordered. That said, the food keeps us coming back. Despite the occasional service hiccup, it's still one of my favorite places to eat.

This spot was my last meal before leaving LA and I enjoyed it so much! We waited a little bit for our table but it wasn't long. It was pretty busy & the parking lot was full too. The service was great....someone always came by to ask how we were doing, if we needed anything, and to refill our banchan!! Everything we ordered was enjoyable. The cuts of the meat were good and so were the portions that were brought out to us. I love getting Korean bbq in LA and this place is now a part of my top list! I can't wait to come back again.

Love that this location opens a bit later and their pricing is pretty affordable! Took my family from out of state here to try some kbbq in California. We had an amazing time as the food was delicious, service was quick, and vibes were great overall. Our servers Patrick and Cody honestly really made the experience one to remember with their friendliness and humor. I truly don't think I've had better service from any other restaurant before, so our experience here will definitely be remembered. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Wow. What a great meal. I sat with a table of 5 and arrived around 8pm. Even though it was late and there were not many other customers, the service was a little slow. (Many "all you can eat" are purposely slow so that customers eat less). Nonetheless... the brisket was pretty high quality but even though I was ordering the prime brisket, I believe they were serving us the lower quality... The intestine and beef tongue are not good. I recommend eating the brisket with radish and rice paper. It is to die for. The mood of this establishment is very inviting and chill. You have enough space to talk with your group and it feels private enough to have bond deepening discussions. Great place! Will come back again.

Since it's tucked away in a residential area, I can imagine parking gets pretty tough if you aren't as lucky as we were. The line was long (it stretched out to the street!), but it moved surprisingly quickly. There are actually two lines, one for food and another just for drinks. There were five of us, so we ordered the 6 meats & 6 sides, and it was PLENTY of food. We got the brisket, tri-tip, burnt ends, beef ribs (Sunday only!), siu yuk, and sausage links. For sides, we chose the cornbread, shells & cheese (which was actually cavatappi lol), sesame slaw, spicy cucumbers, tallow fries, and pandan pudding. We also couldn't pass up the new tallow churros with ube dip, plus a pitcher of sangria for the table. Honestly, everything was absolutely delicious. I could write a paragraph about each dish, but this review would never end LOL. There's plenty of seating in the back, though the teepees were definitely the most sought-after spots. Considering the crowd though, I would send someone to save your group a spot while you wait in line. There's bar seating, picnic tables, high tables, etc. I also loved that Junbi is in the same compound if you're craving a sweet drink afterward. Can't rave about this place enough. The food coma nap that hit afterward was absolutely worth it.

Anyways, I've been coming to this place for many years and I do believe they do a great job when it comes to the food. However on my last visit, they gave me the wrong order. I ordered pork belly but received rib belly from another customer. The middle aged man and grumpy was the one that MADE the mistake. I didn't realized I have gotten the wrong order until driving home. I call them saying I got the wrong order and if I can get a refund or dispute because I am not going to pay for something I did not want. Upon calling, they asked if I can drive back and return it but I'm already an hour away on the freeway. They took down my name and number and said they'll redeem the same order in my next visit. Here I am visiting today, and I told them the situation and the same worker talked to me. He started lecturing me that I should've returned the food. "Food is food. If you don't like don't eat"... He continued to talk loudly and making a statement in front of this whole team and all of them looking like I was in the wrong. Excuse you? Did I ask for a box of bones? Weren't YOU the one that made the mistake? How RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL you are to the people helping your business. Please grow up and deal with situations more professionally. Hold yourself accountable for mistakes you made. Your customers are what keeps you in business Uncle. With that being said... I will never come back to this place ever again.

We went when prices were still like $18.99/each AYCE at night but now I heard it's $23/each, which is understandable but unfortunate for us students. Both times we went, the portions each order was solid and the meat quality was good, better than expected. We ate tons of meat and some of us ordered sides, the wait for the orders weren't too long and the grill was being changed frequently. The staff were nice and the service was relatively quick even when they were busy. One order seemed to be forgotten but another server checked in on us and they went back to make sure everything was proper, which was nice. When I went with my friend, the two of us were challenging each other and we ended up being the very last party to leave. Unfortunately, we ordered more than we could eat due to our competitiveness and it was already past 12 p.m. They decided not to charge us the leftover fee so I tipped more to compensate. Shoutout to the kind staff that watched me try to scarf down the food at the end and seeing a duo last longer than a party of 11 . I recommend going here late at night to try out their, now $23, AYCE from 10 p.m to 12 p.m and note that their last call is 11:30 p.m. Another thing is that you have to sign up on the waitlist via their tablet in-person, so come around 9:15 p.m if you're going with a large party and hit up the H-Mart across while waiting!

If you're looking for an AYCE spot that gives you the best service, quality, and variety for a KBBQ…read morespot, this is it. My group of three came in at 9pm on a Monday night. We were instantly sat and our server, Scott, gave an explanation for the three dinner tiers. We normally like to stick to our classics (brisket, pork belly, steak, galbi, etc), but wanted the additional meats the gold tier gave us. The quality of meat, especially this late in the night, was extremeeelyyyy impressive. Everything was vibrant and had really great marbling. As someone who has eaten at so many KBBQ restaurants, this is definitely setting a new precedent for future KBBQ places I try. I'm normally a kbbq consumer who prefers a sauce bar, but the few they provided sufficed more than enough. The open garnish/side bar was always full and fresh. Also wanted to shoutout service. Scott and Ryan were super friendly and made sure we had great dinner. Our empty plates were ALWAYS cleared out within the minute we set it down. You can tell they're observant & were constantly making sure that we were doing good. Will definitely be back again in the future!

Their pork dishes are DELISHHHH (i recommend skipping the beef brisket) and I love that they cook the meat for you so you can just DIG IN. Their meat is high quality which I think justifies the price. Combo A/B will feed 2 people and C/D/E is just enough for 3-4 people! I love the lil extra goodies they include like the pineapple, mushroom, and cheese... so yum.... For the combos, I prefer the kimchi stew over the soybean stew since the soybean is a little salty for me. Make sure to order the cold noodles too - they complement the meat SO WELL.

While we waited for the grill to get going, we snacked on the banchan. The pickled dishes and spring greens were especially refreshing and did a great job balancing out all the rich flavors to come. The highlight was definitely the meat. Everything was grilled perfectly and came out incredibly juicy, tender, and flavorful. What I loved most was how many different ways there were to enjoy each bite. You can dip the pork into the garlic oil sauce, add a little wasabi, pair it with the melted grilled cheese, wrap it with myeong yi, sprinkle on some salt, or simply enjoy the quality of the meat on its own. Every combination brought out a different flavor profile, so the meal never got repetitive. The soups were comforting and packed with flavor, making them a great complement to the barbecue. Overall, this was a really satisfying KBBQ experience. The quality of the pork stood out, the variety of accompaniments made every bite interesting, and the meal felt thoughtfully put together from start to finish. The restaurant was lively!
