Showed up around 10:45 pm and last call was at 11:30. We were able to get seated immediately for a party of 7 and began ordering right away. The menu we chose was AYCE for $26 and this had all the standard choices of cuts I enjoy eating. Our table rotated between brisket, beef belly, thinly sliced pork belly, and fresh/thick cut pork belly. Towards the end of our meal, we only ordered thick cut pork belly and beef belly as this was our favorite. Considering that staff and management kept reminding us that we only had until 11:30 to order, the service was quite slow. We ordered several plates of each dish at a time and only a single plate of eat cut would arrive. Before last call, we ordered 4 plates of specific cuts and only one showed up for each cut. I'm not sure how to improve communication but it left us feeling unsatisfied by the end of the night because we could have eaten more. It was quite upsetting because we thought we specified plate number to receive that amount, and even had to ask the server if they could make an exception after last call. Luckily they were able to compensate with 2 plates but it still didn't feel quite enough. Bonchon was served and this was able to get refilled whenever someone was available to come round with the cart. There was good selections to choose from and had good flavor. It was unfortunate because we got seated pretty far in the back of the restaurant which also contributed to slow service. The grill also felt unstable at times and because the grill does not directly have a 'slot' to fit into, it can slide around and leaves open gaps for the heat to seep out from. Caution leaving metal plates and bowels close to the edge as it can heat up fast! As the night came to a close, it felt very rushed again as they were trying to close the register and kick everyone out ASAP. They also kept coming around to remind us that we only had X amount of time before they closed and to finish all meat to avoid a charge. Considering that the service was slow, we didn't get enough to eat, and they kept rushing us, it was not a great dining experience. Before leaving, you can get some blueberry ice cream on the way out. This reminds me of a tart frozen yogurt that is blueberry flavor and was a good way to end the night. Overall, I'd come again but would request to sit a bit closer, come earlier if possible, and be WAY more specific when ordering with staff. Hopefully with more time, it can lead to a more pleasant experience.

Original + Blueberry tart soft serve. Forgot to take pic of food.

First time visit on March 14, 2026 This is a very solid AYCE KBBQ spot where the sides were plentiful and our meat orders came out quickly. The establishment itself is comfortable with a good vibe and they offer free valet (which was really amazing as well. The guy was really nice and helpful). The main reason for 5 stars though (I wish I could give more) was due to our server, Darren(Darin?). He was amazing! He was friendly, engaging, quick, patient...... and best of all he checked in on us often enough that we weren't running out of food but also not too often where it disrupted our feeding frenzy. His service definitely stood out and I hope management recognizes what a star they have in their midst. I hope any customers lucky enough to have Darren(Darin?) as a server tips him super well!

This used to be my favorite restaurant during the mid to late '90's. I can't count the number of times I used to come here with my family. But, that's all in the past. I couldn't believe all the stickers on the door of the entranceway. Luckily when I stepped inside, it was clean. The interior was not how I remembered. It's obviously been renovated and updated since I last remember. My group was the first to arrive. They had just opened at 11:30 AM. There were three young employees. They have a process where they lay out all the side dishes before they seat people at the table. We ordered a combination. It came with an egg dish; tofu soup; white rice; and variety of meats, mostly beef, but some pork. There was quite a bit of fat on the beef that we cut off and discarded. We also ordered a plate of Japchae and seafood pancake. The food was still as delicious as I remembered, it was the fact that we had to keep requesting service that this restaurant gets three stars. We had to request bowls of lettuce; hot barley water; another pair of scissors to cut our meat because the first ones were dull; a new grill because the first one was all black and burnt; more rice wraps; etc. The restaurant is large, but there were maybe 5 separate groups here during the week, at lunch. Parking: They have a large, free parking lot in the back.

This has got to be some of the worst customer service ever... no one is at the front to check anyone in. Workers saw a bunch of people waiting and didn't bother checking them in or anything. The waiter was nice and checked just barely enough. But for the price and service this was definitely not worth it... I think ever since covid this place has definitely gone down hill. Pay the price elsewhere for a better experience and meat quality was just average..

I can't seem to get away from this place. I suppose it's easy because the banchan is good and the cost is reasonable $34 for dinner. Service always kind of sucks. They don't staff properly for the size of the place, but otherwise I have no other complaints. Poor servers look so stressed out. The air filters could be better, I always walk out smelling like a carnivores delight. It's a local fav among a bunch of other options in Garden Grove.

    1. The meat options were good quality! I really like the marinated pork belly! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes! The interior is spacious! 3. The staff were friendly and attentive! 4. There are only indoor seatings! There are a lot of tables! 5. Parking lot is medium size! Sports are single-lined and not compact! Note: There are restrooms available for customers! If you get here a little before opening the parking isn't open to the left of the restaurant entrance. You can still get to the parking by driving down Galway St and then making a left into the parking behind the restaurant. We were one of the first people to be seated when they opened at 11:30 on a Sunday. The servers were really nice. They were never too far so we could easily request for things we needed. One of them also cut one of them eats we ordered. They were quick to jump in and replace the grill before we noticed it was getting too burnt. The portions are quite big so we were good with the smaller serving combo for two people. The marinated meat was delicious. It had great flavor. I would have also been happy eating brisket only. It had a fresh taste. The side dishes were alright. We split the egg soup between two people. I wish they had the mashed potato side dish that's in the shape of an ice cream scoop. The water was fresh and didn't have a tap taste. There's also ice cream available but it wasn't offered to us but we were also really full by the end of the meal. The ambiance was alright until families came in with their crying babies.

This spot was my last meal before leaving LA and I enjoyed it so much! We waited a little bit for our table but it wasn't long. It was pretty busy & the parking lot was full too. The service was great....someone always came by to ask how we were doing, if we needed anything, and to refill our banchan!! Everything we ordered was enjoyable. The cuts of the meat were good and so were the portions that were brought out to us. I love getting Korean bbq in LA and this place is now a part of my top list! I can't wait to come back again.

Wow. What a great meal. I sat with a table of 5 and arrived around 8pm. Even though it was late and there were not many other customers, the service was a little slow. (Many "all you can eat" are purposely slow so that customers eat less). Nonetheless... the brisket was pretty high quality but even though I was ordering the prime brisket, I believe they were serving us the lower quality... The intestine and beef tongue are not good. I recommend eating the brisket with radish and rice paper. It is to die for. The mood of this establishment is very inviting and chill. You have enough space to talk with your group and it feels private enough to have bond deepening discussions. Great place! Will come back again.

Overall (4/5) A reliable all you can eat Korean BBQ spot that delivers comfort, value, and consistency. First Impressions (4/5) I have been here many times. The restaurant is clean, busy, and exactly what you expect from a solid Garden Grove KBBQ spot. What We Got (4/5) AYCE set with brisket, beef belly, short rib Soft tofu soup Taste and Quality (4/5) Meat quality is decent and consistent, not premium, but appropriate for the price. Soups were warm and comforting. Side dishes were especially good. Service (4/5) Staff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Space and Atmosphere (4/5) Clean, organized, and comfortable for groups. Was It Worth It (4/5) The lowest tier included everything needed for a satisfying meal at $42.51 as of January 28, 2026. Good value for AYCE KBBQ. Final Thoughts Perfect for anyone wanting affordable AYCE KBBQ without sacrificing cleanliness or service. I will continue coming back.

Always wanted to leave a review for my fav kbbq place! I would have written one for any of the servers here, because they've been all wonderful. I'm leaving one after our experience with Patrick. He's been real chill and nice about everything! Like every of the other servers, they bring yummy food, seem like a great time, and always seem to be cool people. The food, and the awesome servers, this is a solid af kbbq spot.

I typically don't like restaurants that you go and cook your own food, but this was definitely an experience. Everything came out great customer service was right on top of it. Everybody was friendly. It was pretty busy in there, but we never had to wait to get more of the things that we needed, it was a good experience I would definitely go back again

For a last minute thing, this was a good choice. Not only it was open pretty late for a Korean bbq place. There's a lot out back for parking. I'm sure you could also find street parking as well. Checking in was not bad. Said it was a five minute wait list but it was pretty quiet as it was around 9 pm. It was basically to set up for us. Also, the good thing with this place. They have a good selections of side dishes compared to a few others with only a few selections offered. Price wise was good for your classic and then an additional for the premium. It wasn't much different but affordable. Meat didn't take long to arrive which is nice when you're hungry. The selections and quality of meat were nice, seasoned well. The soups also did the trick and flavored and season well. They do change the grill like most places do. Every so often they come around with the cart full of side dishes for refill which comes in handy. Overall, food and service were great. Plus for opening pretty late. Don't forget to pick up your little dessert on the way out. Affordable.
