I am all about supporting small business. When I came here I remember seeing two little boys in the back running around and playing. That hits a soft spot since I have a little one of my own. The food here is good; but the price is a bit much honestly. I think we spent $50+ and the portion wasn't even much. I get it, inflation hit and this is seafood and that is pricey as well. But this is one of those times where you go to celebrate something. My wallet can't afford to go here every week, but I love supporting small business where I can! read more

Very interesting place. I've never had a Cajun boil so don't have anything to compare it to, but the seafood was good. We got the 2 bunches of crab legs and 1/2 muscles and head -on shrimp. We went with the daddy mix flavor of Cajun and garlic butter. Mildly spicy. Didn't go crazy on the spice. It's def a low key casual atmosphere. We made a nice mess! read more

Starting off, I saw Boil Daddy on TikTok but that was the West LA location, and definitely wanted to try it out. However, while driving around OC, I realized there was one located in Stanton, so decided to check out this location and I must say it did not disappoint! The parking lot is quite large and has a lot of spots so you most likely will not have any trouble finding parking. I came here with my girlfriend and her sister, and we ordered 1lb of Shrimp (non-peeled) Mild Spicy with their Daddy Sauce, 1lb Shrimp (non-peeled) Medium Spicy with their Daddy Sauce, 1lb Clams Medium Spicy with their Daddy Sauce +Sausage +Potato, and Daddy's Noods with Shrimp (peeled) Medium Spicy. All of it was really delicious. Just the right amount of seasoning, not overdoing it, and the spice level was very enjoyable without any tongue burn. The noodles were also surprisingly good so that the noodles don't get soggy just sitting on our table while we were peeling our shrimp! Oh and noting that the Daddy Sauce is just the cajun sauce + butter garlic sauce combined and it's a must! Unfortunately, forgot to take any pictures of my experience and food, because we were all super hungry, so apologies! The managers and employees are super friendly and welcoming! We were fortunate enough to be offered free soda with our meals so we were very appreciative of it! Otherwise, I will say for the price point, the food, service, environment is cozy and enjoyable to dine in! As we were eating more people did come in for their to-go orders and few people dining in, but regardless, I love that it was less crowded during the time we went to really enjoy our meal in peace. Ordered 2x one pound bags of shrimp/clams and shrimp/mussels with daddy sauce (mix of garlic butter & cajun sauce), mild spicy. The order was all bagged and ready when I arrived to pick it up. The shrimp, clams, and mussels were covered in the sauce, which had hints of garlic butter, but overpowered by the cajun sauce despite requesting mild spicy. The shrimp were easy to peel and the heads were flavorful. The clams and mussels were good and easy to eat by dipping the shells with meat into the sauce. A few of my clams and mussel shells were empty, which was a bummer since I paid for a pound bag. The clam/mussel meat didn't get lost in the sauce either. read more

Let me start by saying I am not from the area me and my finance were looking for something good to eat. It was so delicious the sauce shrimp potatoes corn steamed rice. Definitely not eating here. I can smell the roaches in this place. Came here to try seafood boil and they were sweeping the floors next to the pot tht they boil the seafood with. (Has stove on the floor). Lost my appetite as soon as I smelled what I smelled, didn't order from them because I already knew. My wife is a crawfish kinda lady. We decided to give this place a try. Unfortunately, they did not have crawfish :(. We decided to eat here anyways just to give them a try. We got wings with fries, daddy's noodles with shrimp, and fisherman's lunch to share. My wife and I tend to over order and this time we did it again . My wife had the fisherman's lunch. She didn't like the sausage that was used. I tried it too. It was definitely different than other cajun seafood places. The portion size was big however. The sauce was decent. The wings were jumbo sized but the flavor was somewhat bland. The fries needed a bit more salt. My favorite was the daddy's noodles. It was packed with a lot of flavors. The portion size was good. Definitely my favorite item that we ordered. The owners were pretty nice and even gave us free sodas. Our order came out to be about 60-70 dollars with tip. I think the restaurant should post the prices of the items so people know what they are ordering. Will definitely give this place a try again someday. read more

Walked in and was helped right away. The cashier was very nice and patient, even gave us some recommendations. I ordered the Daddy's Noods with mix seasoning and muscles, and also the Fisherman's Lunch with cajun and shrimp. Both were great, the noodles were flavorful, spicy, but well cooked, and not too soggy. The fisherman's lunch was well seasoned, juicy, maybe even too juicy. But that's a good thing. The portions were appropriate for the price. It was great that they had free water, but it tasted a little funky. That was the only part I did not like. The tables were clean, the setting was very relaxed, and the music was not bad at all. At the end, we were given deep dried ice cream as complimentary deserts, and they were delicious. The sweet condensed milk was great with the cinnamon sugar, and the ice cream was ice cold, but chewable. Would go to again. read more

I was craving seafood boil for the longest time, but hate waiting in line for boiling crab. One day my fiancé and I ended up stumbling upon this place and decided to try it out. We were so happy with our choice! The service was quick and the establishment was very clean. I got the 1/2 lb shrimp & 1/2 lb mussels with the daddy sauce mild spicy and a side of corn. My fiancé ordered the Daddy's shrimp bowl with the daddy sauce original. We both loved the flavor of everything! At the end of our meal, the chef came over to our table and gave us a couple of the fried ice cream balls. He was so sweet and kind. I totally recommend the boil daddy for some good shrimp and snow crab the mixed sauce was very savory. We had great service fast seating and affordable prices for the amazing taste. Towards the end of our meal we were given a free dessert which we really appreciated and enjoyed! Both flavors were good but our chicken wasn't super crispy. Also they didn't have enough sauce and if you want more you have to pay more. The chicken pieces were pretty big though. Our order did come with some pickled radish and a free sample of their soft serve. Service was pretty good and our food came out quick. Their pricing is affordable but very slightly higher than other Korean fried chicken places. I do like that besides just wings they also have chicken sandwiches if you prefer. The inside is very casual and they have tables and chairs for you to enjoy. Parking is easy since they share a parking lot in a strip mall.

And we can usually handle our spice -- we're Korean. But this? This had us both violently ill for days with stomach issues. (Sorry for the TMI, but that's the truth.) We chalked it up to a miscommunication and decided to give it another shot. This time, we explicitly asked for medium heat to avoid the inferno. The pricing was reasonable for the amount of food I got. The place had good parking and the online ordering went through without a hitch. Looking forward to returning again in the future.

On top of that, cheese is now $4 extra and ramen is $3, which feels a bit steep for add-ons. They also changed the salad sauce--it used to be more on the sweeter side, but now it leans spicier (around a 3/10 spice level, still good), which may or may not be your preference. The biggest issue, though, was the food safety concern. Our order included 8 pieces of fried chicken (4 drumsticks and 4 wings). The drumsticks were fully cooked and fine. However, the first wing piece I bit into was clearly undercooked. Because of that, we did not continue eating the remaining wings--the other three were set aside and later on, discarded into the small trash bin they keep at the table. When I brought it to the staff's attention, they told me the redness was from bone marrow due to a broken bone and that the chicken was fully cooked. However, the bone only broke because I bit into it, and the meat itself was visibly pink. Not just near the bone where bone marrow would be. The actual MEAT was red and pink all throughout. This was not just "marrow." Even zooming into the picture, you can see the meat on both the plate and in my hand was still red and pink. Additionally, the remaining wings were only visually checked by the waiter and were not opened or inspected internally, which would not confirm whether they were fully cooked. This is concerning, as a visual check alone doesn't accurately assess doneness. It also concerns me that, despite not being present, the owner claims his servers point of view as factual, including the claim that all the wings were eaten, which is not accurate. We did not consume the remaining wings after the first one I bit into. Unfortunately, there was no apology from my perspective, simply an "explanation" stating it was bone marrow. And the situation wasn't handled with much concern. I ended up feeling sick and had to go to the bathroom to throw up, which completely ruined the rest of the experience. Overall, I'm really disappointed. Between the price changes, the food safety issue, and the owner's response focusing more on defending the situation rather than acknowledging the concern, I don't feel comfortable coming back.
