This was my first time coming here. This was a little hidden gem on the outskirts of wynwood. The ambience is very nice for a date night or a small gathering with friends. The reservation was quite difficult since you had to contact certain people regardless of how many people you had. The whole restaurant is outdoors which gives a nice Miami vibe and the DJ is playing good music all night. The food is quite delicious however they do come in small portions and are quite expensive. The drinks are actually also very delicious as well with a good variety. It was a fun night. The place was not packed even at 10 PM on a Saturday night. I'm sad to write this review as I think this place has so much potential . However, the management are not nice people . They are very greedy . I came to celebrate a friends birthday and they would not allow me to sit down at a table inside to order a drink and a bite to eat unless I would meet a minimum of $75 . I understand they had reservations and were booked , but the place was completely empty at the time and I was trying to sit down, enjoy a drink , and give them business. Every person at this establishment was rude as can be. We got there at 10pm on the Monday night, the place was absolutely empty except for three people at the first table. They insisted that we have to pay a $75 per person cover up front at the door. They said it was a minimum spend. But had to be paid upfront?! On a Monday?! For an empty place?! The drinks were very mediocre, the food was okay- kind of reminded me of those trendy pop ups around LA, made for presentation not taste. If it wasn't for the incredibly rude staff, especially at the front door, I would've given 3 stars for this establishment. The three people at the front continuously changed how much the price was to enter, then changed the price upon final receipt at the end. This place gave scuzzy fraud vibes. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! read more

This place is a joke! I just witnessed the bouncers deny access to two people dressed very artsy/boho (I know, the joke tells itself). They were asking them to pay $100 per person or have a reservation when I was able to walk in without paying anything at all other than what I consumed inside. While stealing their visual identity from spaces like Burning Man and Bombay Beach, BOHO House will never live up to either of these events' principles, especially radical inclusion and radical self-expression. Like many other places in Miami, BOHO House uses urban and contemporary artists to elevate their interior design but denies access to the artists themselves. Making them nothing more than a facade for something they pretend to be but never will. This is coming from someone who got in, tried the overpriced food and drinks, and walked out in less than an hour because the space was empty and it got boring fairly quickly. After viewing all of the 1 star reviews. I am going to be very honest. I came to this place b/c I was invited by the DJ that was playing that night. The Ambiance was very nice The service wasn't bad (I guess b/c it wasn't packed yet) The JB sushi roll was good but I've had better (respectfully not going promote who has better) The drinks - I'm a simple gin+soda or tonic w/ lime kind of guy. I ordered 2 of those, both tasted like there was no alcohol in it. So decided to get a classic dirty gin Martini... THAT was weak, got another, THAT was weak. A Gin or Vodka martini is pure alcohol so either they mixed water and gin w/ a splash of olive juice or I don't know s**t about martini's. The olive's were tiny and old looking. (didn't complain b/c I was a guest of the DJ and wanted to show love and spend some money) I'm not cheap-a-toni, but for what I spent, I'd like to see an itemized copy, which I didn't and felt like I've been cheated into adding an extra tip (which I did). I'm a server and we handhelds as well. But I ALWAYS give them an itemized copy! It's not about the price (b/c damn near everything is pricey in Miami), it's if I got my money's worth, which I did not get. Overall, 1, I'm giving it 3-stars out of respect for my friend 2, I probably won't go back here and actually do table/bottle service b/c of the 1-star reviews about the service or I might IF I get invited by the DJ again 3, BOHO shouldn't get (or scam) people to spend crazy amounts of money and not serve their guest with integrity, b/c again it's not the price, it's if you got your money's worth. read more

They went thrift shopping and crammed as many items on their wall without any aesthetic or thought process in order to be able charge to get in. We ended up paying $150 per person for mediocre food, terrible service, crammed and uncomfortable seating. Do not go, there are so many other places worth the money. This is definitely not one of them. read more

This guys are not letting me in because we are going to be 4 men and only 3 girls. This doesn't make any type on sense. They are asking two people to spend $500 dollars for us to get in. The place is empty and they just don't want us to let us in. This type of behavior is not aceptable in 2020. I really hope that the owners and managers knows that Penelope (if that is her real name) didn't let 5 guys in because an excuse that didn't make any sense. Good music, weird vibes. They charged us $100 per person (minimum spend) for a table and there isnt much standing room otherwise. The music was good, but not like that really matters because there was no good area to dance. The servers also had a weird, unfriendly mood about them. It just all felt very fake. Even thou I wanted to experience this place 2x, (for it looks cool on pics & reminds me of Tulum). 1st time couldn't make it (plus they wanted $200 upfront) 2nd time goodness what a mess! Person at door wanted $50 upfront & that was with no seating just to get in! I'm sorry with Dj or no Dj this place is not worth it! Area is shading & they just serve tapas. We were between meals and stopped in randomly with no reservation and were asked to pay 75 a person minimum but told them we were just gonna sit at the bar. We did not need to sit at a table and they have like sort of a little bar top area. We enjoyed the vibe so much the food was yummy. Everything was great. We ended up just staying there but we ate and ordered away. Drinks were great. Loved it! A couple of DJs were just playing around mixing vibe together. Imagine a place that has a LOT of potential? Amazing venue, location, design, etc! However, the service can not get any worse! At the door, they treat you like shit! We went there Thursday night Oct 28th, we told the girl at the door that we had no reservation, but we were there to have a drink at the bar! We had some friends that were already in there. She said we could only get in paying $500 to get a bottle! She said we could not get in because we had no reservation, not even go to the bar! We could not reach our friends by phone. We waited 20' outside, and we went to the back bar, a small place where they had live music! The bar was closed, so, no drinks! We asked to go to the main place to get a drink and come back, after 10' they let us go there to get a drink! They had 1 bartender, the place was empty! Maybe 15/20 people! Funny enough, We could not order a drink at the bar! Unbelievable! That's why boho house is empty and most of the reviews here is telling how bad the service is! Guys, wake up, this is Miami! There are 10000 bars/lounges etc! Take care of the people that go to your place, treat them with respect, It's not that hard! This used to be a nice place with good music but they became so greedy. There is almost zero investment inside and marketed as bohemian where prices are not. . They do have "made up" policy with different prices daily for different people. I prefer do not sit and space better at least they are consistent with door policies read more

We walked up to this place on a Wednesday night around 6pm, looked to be completely empty. Upon walking up to the hostess she literally put the velvet rope up to block us from coming in which I thought was SUPER rude. Then continued to tell us there was a $75 table charge which didn't include food. So $75 PLUS whatever food you were going to get. There website said nothing about this. Seems to me like she was judging us based on our appearance (we were all dressed cute too). Whatever, they'll go out of business soon along with the rest of these crappy Miami restaurants. read more

I very, very, very rarely give one star reviews. You can look at my profile to verify that, and consequently when I do give one star reviews I feel compelled to explain in depth precisely what transpired that left me with such a bad taste in my mouth after dining experience. It was a whole host of things at BOHO House, which I'll explain in depth below. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? Yes. The atmosphere at BOHO House is cool, and is reminiscent in many ways of the open pre-covid bliss that we all once lived in. Cool atmosphere, a DJ, and the clientele is a healthy mix of pretentious extra and down to earth Wynwood cool. To my surprise, the service was surprisingly able to keep up even though the place was packed, and while there were a couple mix ups all in all we got the food we ordered. There was one brief experience that soured things a bit, which was that one of my friends got up to go to the bathroom, and for some reason the bouncer was absolutely certain that he had somehow snuck in even though he'd been dining for at least an hour at that point. The bouncer went off, and even after being told by servers that we'd been there for an hour he was all to unpleasant about the whole thing. A cool vibe is great, but it can be quickly torn down by pretentiousness from fellow customers and servers alike. Star. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? I'd heard, I think in passing, that in order to get a seat at BOHO house we had to spend a minimum of $75 per person. That's not a big deal at a normal restaurant with respectable food, but upon looking at the menu at BOHO House I was absolutely stunned at the options. Tacos, Sliders, Cheese Pizza? This was bar food, and not even good bar food as you'll see, which made the $75 minimum absolutely absurd. No thank you. No Star. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? Every single piece of food, and I ordered just about everything on the menu, was awful, and I mean that seriously. From the dry tacos to the dry sliders to the nachos that I've improved upon wasted at 0300, everything here was worse than Sodexho catered elementary school iterations of these dishes. I was so, so disappointed. No Stars. Star 5: Would you be excited to go back? Absolutely not. No Star. read more

I had an amazing experience. Very chill music and great drinks. From the beginning, the hostess Jessica received us very kindly, showed us the place and guided us to our table accompanied by the server Dimitri, the best margaritas I have ever tasted prepared by the bartender Cesar with an incredible table and experience, they made sure that our night ran smoothly. 10/10 would recommend it. read more

Terrible service and costumer service! We made a reservation for 6 for 8:30pm. A few hours later (10pm) they moved us to the back patio. Their excuse for moving us was "they had another reservation and we needed to leave the table". We had come for the music (house) and we ended up thrown on the back patio listening to reggaeaton. I CANT UNDERSTAND how after paying over $500 we were moved and asked to basically leave. Food it's mediocre, drink are extremely expensive, service sucks and Managment do not care whatsoever. DO NOT COME HERE!!! read more

Very very cool vibe. The DJ was awesome but I don't remember her name. Feels like a little piece of Tulum in Miami. Not many food options but we got the chicken tacos which were very tasty and the hummus is very small but food for a snack. I would not come here if you want a big meal but if you want to drink, hang out, dance a little, and pick at food this is the spot. read more

The focaccia was really tasty and glad we tried. Now the main event, the pastas. Don't hate me now but I didn't care for them! The amatriciana was soo salty and the guanciale was soggy. Not enjoyable to eat at all. The cacio e Pepe also was salty and yes I know the cheese makes it salty but it was too much and again not enjoyable. Both pastas were really not great and both were so so gummy. I found them to be so gummy. Not al dente but not overcooked. It was just such a weird consistency to eat. Desserts were fine. Banana made me surprised that I liked it and the tiramisu was meh for me. Not bad but dessert in general was okay. Service was phenomenal though!!

I was shocked at the end of the night when that cost $48! I understand that it is a premium gin, but that's crazy. We often go to another Michelin-recognized restaurant and their double monkey martini is no more than $30. I asked at the end of our meal because I assumed it was rung in incorrectly, but nope! Also, we did the tasting menu and we were not half way through our cocktail before they pushed the first wine as part of the tasting. It was a prosecco. For an additional $140 for the pairing, I would have expected a champagne. Now to the food. It was mostly good, but not exceptional. For instance, the crudo did not use the best fish. I could not eat two pieces of the fish because it was too tough. This was the first course, and I was immediately put off. The caviar and sauce were very good, but the protein was unacceptable. Going in was so interesting, they charged $100 just to get in. I am being treated like a drunkard in a very rude manor, to collect the entry tax.
