My masseuse was Veronica, she was fabulous! My troubled areas are my upper back/neck and right lower back. She found many other other troubled areas on my body that I wasn't aware of. She helped release those troubled areas, though it was slightly painful, it was needed and also did some mild cupping to my back, without leaving a bruise. Very kind and knowledgeable, she knows her anatomy! At the end, she gave me a few suggestions and tips. Wish there was one located in the Bay Area near me. Great massage, she loosened some tissue, and I was able to move my shoulders a little more. This is the spot to go, they know their stuff!

Not only is she judgement free about how tight my muscles are, but she actually pieces me back together each time I see her. Jess is great at hearing your concerns and then figuring out a way to troubleshoot your body to solve those concerns, which is truly amazing. Everyone's body is different in how they respond to certain techniques. Jess pays attention to how your body responds and is able to adjust her approach if something doesn't work one way. Perfect example, at times, my muscles fight Jess when she tries to get in with her hands/elbow so she will attack me with cups bc my muscles won't fight them (the tricks that must be done bc my body is stubborn ). Beyond glad I found Jess, she is an amazing human and she has saved my body from itself. I'm pretty sure my back muscles had plans to turn into cement and she has delayed that from happening lol.

Amy is a Rare Combination of Skill, Professionalism, and Genuine Care…read more After my appointment with Amy at Kindness Massage, I felt compelled to share my experience because exceptional people deserve to be recognized. As a disabled Army Veteran living with multiple service-connected injuries to my neck, shoulders, back, and knees, I've worked with a lot of massage therapists over the years. Relief isn't a luxury for me--it's what allows me to keep working, serving others, and maintaining some quality of life. Amy immediately stood out. She took the time to listen, understand what was going on with my body, and tailor the session to what I actually needed instead of using the same routine on everyone. Her knowledge of the body, attention to detail, and ability to find problem areas were impressive. You can tell this isn't just a job to her--it's a profession she's invested years into mastering. What impressed me even more was her professionalism and genuine compassion. She made me feel comfortable from beginning to end and treated me like a person, not just another appointment on the schedule. Whether you're dealing with chronic pain, recovering from an injury, carrying stress from work, or you simply want to take better care of yourself, I would absolutely recommend Amy. She works with people from all walks of life and has the skill set to adjust her techniques to your individual needs. In my opinion, businesses with integrity and professionals who truly care about helping people deserve to be supported. Amy has earned my respect, and she's definitely someone I'll be seeing again. If you're in the San Diego area and have been searching for a massage therapist who combines experience, professionalism, and genuine kindness, you've found her. Thank you, Amy, for helping me get back on my feet today. I sincerely appreciate what you do. Highly recommended. Five stars.

Every time I have ever had a deep tissue massage at other places, they either don't go hard enough in my knots OR there's always a section in the massage that is too hard or hits sensitive spots for me. NOT WITH SUSAN. Susan was so so so great! It was like she could read my mind...harder on the knots in my shoulders and back, but lighter near my spine, glutes, and lower rib area. I didn't even have to tell her what I needed; it was as if she KNEW to spend more time on my shoulders and upper back. It completely opened up and loosened all of my knots. Susan is a godsend. Not only that-- but afterwards, Susan and the receptionist were SO incredibly nice. They looked so happy and eager, and made sure to walk me out and greet me goodbye. At other places, the therapist will often run out of my room without saying anything, never to be seen again. I really appreciate the genuine service here! I will DEFINITELY be coming back and telling all of my friends about this GEM of a place

She also offers cupping, which was such a nice bonus! I left feeling SO much better and completely refreshed. Highly recommend Kannika if you're looking for an amazing Thai massage in San Diego. The girls were all ready for us since we were the first customers. They had us in as soon as we arrived and I had the pleasure of Rita for my massage! She did ask throughout if I felt any pain and if anything was too much which I did appreciate. It hurt, but hurt good! Their style of massage is a Thai massage, and I was unaware they will step on your back. I did feel a little cold, especially since it was a rainy day. I wish a little more heat in the room besides the hot stones could help because my muscles were super stiff. The service was excellent though and all the ladies were so kind. The massage alleviated most of my soreness from a prior workout and it was a relaxing start of the day. They offer monthly specials too, so I hope I can come back in the future.

She also described me to the T about my personality traits and habits. She seemed very knowledgeable about healing and massage. Massage was good! She is strong for a tiny girl. She recommended i go to her sister, Amy, for Meridian treatment. I will try it because i have some health issues. My wife love her massage with Ella. We ate breakfast in San Diego. THIS PLACE IS A MUST FOR MASSAGES! I rarely leave reviews,…read moreeven when I've genuinely enjoyed a location. But I NEED to leave a review for Aero!! Background info: I am almost 2 months post-surgery from breaking my collarbone and have a 5-6 inch scar where you can feel the rope-like scar tissue texture. My range of motion has been limited and now that I'm starting to walk/workout lower body, my body has been holding onto tension on lower back and upper right side to compensate for not being able to use my left arm so much. I came in as a walk in after checking 3 other surrounding massage places that didn't take me. Today was day 4 of having a severe, consistent headache and I was desperate to see if a massage would help. The woman who helped me was an older woman (I should've asked for name), but was dressed in black and had her hair up. I let her know of the recovering enjoy but was able to tolerate massage in the area (cleared by my PT). I also let her know about the severe headache, lower back pain as well. She was extremely compassionate, caring, and precise. She checked in to make sure the pressure was okay around my injury. I've never had a massage this relieving, this relaxing, this euphoric. When I turned face up, she was diligent; massaging around my surgical area, and gentle yet firm when massaging over the scar itself. It was an emotional experience because I felt seen, cared for, understood. I have been in so much pain but this woman saw me and could just feel how my body was tense and she took care of me. At the end, I couldn't help but give her a hug. I was extremely desperate for relief. She was so sweet and genuine. It was only $66 and I couldn't believe it. For that type of care and attention to detail, I couldn't believe it. If you come here, you will be taken care of. This was my first time and I will 100% come back. Aero, thank you so much. Truly. I look forward to coming back again. Thank you for helping me have more range of motion to my arm, for taking care of my headache, and being compassionate.

You get what you pay for, and I'm honestly not mad at the service we got considering the price!…read more - PARKING - A bit hard to maneuver since the first lane is completely blocked off, and there's only one lane going in and out of the lot. The plaza can be busy at times so you might just have to walk a bit further. - SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT - Since the plaza is fairly small, the interior is pretty cramped as well. The front area only has space for 4 people standing-room. We had made an appointment, so after checking-in, we were led down the hallway to a room. We passed by several other doors but overall the space is pretty small. Still it gets the job done - the room we got was an odd layout but had enough space for two beds for our couples massage. - EXPERIENCE - They definitely found a few knots and noticed a few pressure points on my back that I'm glad they went a little deeper on. I appreciated the check-ins on whether I was OK with the strength, but there were times when I wish they would have told me what they were going to do next. I also felt like they took a longer time on my back, but once I flipped over, it was only 1/3 of the time. Still, they did a great job considering the price again. - OVERALL - If you want a no-frills quick massage, this is a solid spot!
