My friend took me here for a massage and it was awesome! This is not your regular massage, they specialize in sports, Thai, athletes. Rooms are large as well as the massage tables. My masseuse was Veronica, she was fabulous! My troubled areas are my upper back/neck and right lower back. She found many other other troubled areas on my body that I wasn't aware of. She helped release those troubled areas, though it was slightly painful, it was needed and also did some mild cupping to my back, without leaving a bruise. Very kind and knowledgeable, she knows her anatomy! At the end, she gave me a few suggestions and tips. Wish there was one located in the Bay Area near me. Great massage, she loosened some tissue, and I was able to move my shoulders a little more. This is the spot to go, they know their stuff! read more

Not too sure how broken I would be had I not started seeing Jessica at Thainamic. She is perfection. Not only is she judgement free about how tight my muscles are, but she actually pieces me back together each time I see her. Jess is great at hearing your concerns and then figuring out a way to troubleshoot your body to solve those concerns, which is truly amazing. Everyone's body is different in how they respond to certain techniques. Jess pays attention to how your body responds and is able to adjust her approach if something doesn't work one way. Perfect example, at times, my muscles fight Jess when she tries to get in with her hands/elbow so she will attack me with cups bc my muscles won't fight them (the tricks that must be done bc my body is stubborn ). Beyond glad I found Jess, she is an amazing human and she has saved my body from itself. I'm pretty sure my back muscles had plans to turn into cement and she has delayed that from happening lol. read more

I found my new massage home! Highly recommend Lemando Zapanta for all of your healing and recovery needs. This establishment is soothing and comfortable as soon as you walk in. Highly recommend by my good friend Michelle, an IFBB pro, I wanted to try it out. I booked an appointment with Lemando, a new bodywork masseuse there. I shared with him my concerns and he tailored my experience to meet my needs. He paid extra attention to the areas that I had identified as needing extra TLC and I left the session having fully recovered from the muscle strains I had walked in with. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to release tension from physical activity, from leisurely sport activities to serious athletic training, you are in good hands with Lemando. read more

Thainamic Bodywork & Relaxation - Cupping my hamstrings to release tension and increase blood flow. - Massage Therapy Near Me - San Diego, California

I am a personal trainer and nutritionist. I need my body to be healthy and strong for my career and my clients. I've worked with both Allan and Shompoo and both therapists have saved me from a lot of pain and relieved my body from a lot of tension. The first time I worked with Allan was after a major car accident. Somebody had hit me in the rain and my car flipped completely upside down on the freeway. All of the muscle in my back had seized up and remained in a contracted state. Allen was so generous to fit me into his schedule and his techniques were very healing that my back was released and relived after seeing him. I worked with Shompoo after I sprained my ankle running on the beach and she helped relieve the swelling and inflammation in my leg. I know that my ankle healed at a faster rate than if I didn't see her. Her stretching, massage, and cupping was so great! I'm grateful for her time as well. I've learned that body work is so important. We beat our bodies up so much they get tight and sore can bring a postural imbalance. Those imbalances lead to a lot of pain in our tendons and joints. That's why body work is so important. And going to skilled professionals is key. I highly recommend Thainamic. I've only heard great things about all of their therapists, they are very knowledgeable, helpful, and great people! read more

Thainamic Bodywork & Relaxation - Cupping done from my last session with Allan and I left feeling fantastic! - Massage Therapy Near Me - San Diego, California

Well, I cannot stop shaking my head here. I just had my very first session with Jessica and WOW! I am 48 years old. Many many injuries from sports to motorcycle accidents. I'm saying I'm pretty banged up basically. Recently I hurt my back skiing. I had been pain free for a few years in that area so I was definitely concerned. You all know that lower back pain that just won't let you sleep well or simply WALK like a normal person?! I had that. And I was in fear I'd be in for years of pain once more. I get messages often and thought I knew what was good. I was always hoping the pain would just be ...undone by the masseur. Never happened. After describing my issues to Jessica she said, "Oh okay." Then worked something from inside my hip. I didn't think anything of it til I got up. My pain stopped. I was waiting for it to return after I left and now. Hasn't happened. She did cupping, which I had never experienced. It's quite interesting. I actually saw it on my buddies arms and teased him a bit about it. Well look at me now! I look like I was attacked by an octopus but I'll be back again soon! If one session did this for me, I cannot wait for several more!! Thank you guys!! read more

I just need to add how much I love returning during holiday months. The decorations definitely puts me in the mood and allows me to "be in the moment". Considering it is Halloween month, I love all the spooky decor. Saves me $$$ from needing to go to a haunted house! But seriously, I love the touches they put and the new friendly receptionist. All the therapists I have seen when Allan wasn't available are all talented. Josie is one of the most welcoming loving people who always makes me suuuper comfortable and that's important to feel before I take my clothes off. read more

Thainamic sets the bar ridiculously high when it comes to the experience of life altering bodywork. As a consumer of body work and massage I strive on cleanliness, punctuality and effectiveness of the treatment provided ... and Thainamic crosses all the Ts and dots all the Is. If you need any massage from pre natal, to Thai / deep tissue then look no further. I've had massages w a few different staff here and I have never been disappointed. Each person really takes their time to get to know your body and problem areas. I always feel taken care of here - especially when they remember your tougher areas. I'm always on top of communicating what areas hurt but they're seriously the best detectives at finding the exact spot even if I can't name it myself. The owner Allan is super cool ! He is very well known and loved. This place always makes me feel like family. I don't think I've ever had such a thorough and therapeutic massage like I've had here. The owner has also helped isolate certain muscles to figure out where I'm over compensating or what muscles have glued together with time. He always explains to me the process of ungluing each muscle and goes at a pace that makes me feel comfortable - as well as checking to see how I'm doing with the deep tissue pain. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for experts in feeling better. Make sure to drink water after your massage ! Thank you Allan!!! read more

About 4 months ago I got injured in my neck that made my right hand go completely numb. I was In severe pain 24/7 literally couldn't do anything . I went to many different acupuncture and chiropractors and got zero relief ! My friend recommended me on Thainamic BodyWork So I connected Allan right away and told him what was going on with me .. he somehow squeezed me in his busy schedule and after only ONE appointment with him I finally got relief ! Almost 80% back to normal! Allan is a miracle worker! Professional and really know how the body works. I can't thank you enough! Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for many purposes, including cupping to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being. read more

I'm a firm believer in "less is more" and K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid), so this review will reflect that. Even without a happy ending, this is hands down the best massage I have ever experienced. 5-star review, and their accolades on display in their shop reflect that. Allan and Josie run a tight ship, are very knowledgeable and helpful, and also make sure their customers are comfortable during COVID19/20/21. Next time I am in SD, I will definitely be back! Thank you, Thainamic for the amazing experience! read more

It was my first time at Thainamic last evening and my session was with Mona. Everything was incredible ~ Ambiance: The massage room was so relaxing, music was perfect, the massage bed was massive and the most comfortable I've ever been on. Therapist: 10/10 . Mona has incredible skill and a wide breadth of technique~ she clearly knows the human body very well and knew when to use which technique. She combined acupressure, Swedish, cupping, and stretching and everything felt like a very smooth and integrated massage. I was in heaven! I injured my lower back this past Tuesday from weightlifting which has caused nerve pain and muscle pain. I feel a significant difference today! Thank you Mona! Can't wait for the next session. P.s. On a silly note, this place really goes all out on their Halloween decorations!! It was the right amount of creepy haha . read more

Thainamic was recommended to me from someone after expressing concern for a shoulder problem I had been having for a few weeks. I was reluctant to try it at first but I'm very glad I went. Allan was great! I will definitely be returning for more treatment. I came in because I was having limited strength/endurance in my left shoulder and chest. Although I'm not completely back to 100 percent, after one session I noticed a significant difference from previous workouts after getting the dynamic cupping treatment. Allan was very professional and knowledgeable. It was crazy how he knew exactly where to apply pressure to get my muscles to activate. Also, I thoroughly enjoy supporting veteran owned businesses! I came here for the first time and requested to see Allan. Friendly customer service and one of the best cupping/Thai massages I've ever had. Very relaxing and professional environment. Highly recommend this place. I'd definitely come back again! read more

Bodywork is a necessity for any serious athlete. I go to the gym usually twice a day and can tell the difference in my movements and lifts after getting work done. We focus on training so much that sometimes we forget recovery and Thainamic has that covered. I've tried several typical massage places and they're nice for relaxing, but when I want work done, I go to Thainamic. Other businesses just don't have the recovery element, variety, and clear communication that you get from here. I've gotten cupping, deep tissue massage, Graston Technique (soft tissue scraping), Thai stretching, and Ashiatsu (foot stepping massage) among others. Ask for Jasmine! Very friendly and knowledgeable. Sometimes I like to ask why she's massaging a certain muscle a specific way and she'll readily explain the process of "releasing" specific muscle groups to get what I'm looking for. If you need her to massage softer or wayyy harder, she is definitely capable. You're wasting their potential if you go in there without a goal in mind. Let them know if your goal is flexibility, let them know if you're a powerlifter looking to make bigger lifts, let them know if you're aspiring to become a competitor. Even if all you're trying to do right now is recover from injuries ----let them know and they will help you get closer and closer to that goal using the many techniques and knowledge available to them. Of course, if all you need is a relaxing massage, I'm confident they have that solidly covered too. read more

I trust it so much that I send all my clients for both recovery and to help them with their imbalances, and they have come back with nothing but good reviews! They are so dedicated to helping their clients and they love what they do! I am truly grateful for all their help! read more

Immediately when you walk in, you will notice that this place is beautiful. It's giving high end spa vibes. This was my first experience with Thai massage so it was definitely different for me, but I'm so glad I went. The lady who did my massage and cupping, Renu, was wonderful! She was welcoming from the minute I walked in the door. She has a very calming presence. She listened to me when I told her what area of my body was problematic and she was very informative about other things I could do to keep my body in balance. My feet are very very ticklish and when Renu realized that she respected it and didn't make me feel uncomfortable about it. She is small but very strong, and most importantly my back feels amazing after her treatment! I'm used to being sore for a couple of days after a massage but it's been 2 days and I still feel great. The tension and pain I was feeling is long gone. read more

Everything you will ever need from a "Bodyworker". To me, a Bodyworker is someone that not only understands the body and its mechanics but is also able to troubleshoot one's body. That's what you'll get from Allan and his team of experts. As someone that lives and breath health and wellness -- this is my absolute go-to place for body maintenance and also for body recovery. Each bodyworker has a different style, so you will for sure find one that will suit you best. This is a one-of-a-kind experience because they not only do massages, but they also do what is called "dynamic cupping". They will listen to what you need and also for what your body needs as well. Each session is customized because cookie-cutter just doesn't work for everyone. Once you try out Thainamic, you will never have to look for another place again. I know I was hooked after my very first session, so I know you will be too. read more

These guys(mostly gals) are great! And not saying to blow smoke up people's butt but everyone here knows very well what they're doing and the personalities here are great on top of it. I'm a real stickler when it comes to massage places, I've had the training before and did sports therapy, so my standards bar is really high seeing first hand how many "bad" massage places are....and when I say bad, most people might say good or average. But I'm not a fluff and buff type of person. I want people that know what they're doing, know exactly how the body/tissue structures work and know how to get the job done so people can maintain peak performance. That's what I got out of these guys. Instantly got along with them my first time there and the owner is flat out dumb funny/goofy anyways. So that's a plus. You're definitely going to get what you need from standard comfort to fitness fix me ups. I'd definitely recommend going! I purchased another 6 sessions with them for future trips there; I'm not even in the area, I only travel there occasionally or sometimes often. . read more

This place was recommended to me by my massage therapist who I've been going to for 5 years now when he found out I started body building! I still see my massage therapist, but added THAI massage into my massage routine as well! They accept FSA and HSA, which is awesome because it saves money pretax dollars too. Stretches are amazing, the cupping helps so much! The marks can stay a while if you are not well hydrated or have good circulation- but it's never stopped me because I need the stretching and cupping to promote circulation. Worth a try if you've never had it before! If you are not used to getting THERAPUTIC massages, I highly recommend it. read more

Forever customer at Thainamic. If you're looking for a well educated massage therapist you've come to the right spot. Allan and his team are like unicorns, rare, mythical creatures. I've tried every one of the therapist and each of them are AMAZING. They communicate with you prior to your session. Ask if there are areas to avoid and areas to focus on, if the pressure is good or to much. They don't mind you asking for more pressure or even less so yes... it's ok to be verbal with them. When I need a heavy handed therapist Tanya is my go to. Also, when I booked my session I noted and requested for cupping. I love that she will still ask if I would like to have cupping done just in case I've forgotten or changed my mind. Thank you. As a wife, daycare provider, and mother your job is never done. You're always on the move and your mind is always running million miles per minute. I find those rare moments where I can even simply stretch between the lifting, squatting, bending, stooping, and lifting kids and groceries around. Not to even included to laundry folding, cooking, dishwashing, vacuuming, mopping dusting, driving kids to and from school, and after school activities. So when I get to see my Unicorn... I even get my rare mythical moment... of relaxation, and my mind slowing down. I mean... You only have one body, so be sure to take of it. read more

I've been to the Herbin location and this place is far and away the perfect spot! They have lots of parking and the building set up is modern with a very relaxing the color scheme. Now for the most important review....the staff is amazing and knowledgeable. Other places have that "sketchy" feel to it and no real organization. Thainamic offers a friendly atmosphere and you never feel as if your getting a non lic therapist. ALL therapist are certified, lic and experienced! I love The fact that the therapist actually listen and attend to the problem areas. They use multiple modalities that are very affective and ensure the clients comfort. I just wanted to say thank you for all the love we have received. This is not just a thank you to our clients, but a review from myself as well. I have a very hard time trusting other bodyworkers with my own body, but can whole heartedly refer everyone at thainamic. Angee is the best when it comes to a blend of cupping, deep tissue, and Swedish massage. She has some heavy, soothing hands that will put you to sleep and make you feel brand new. Jess, Tania & Shompoo will step into your soul as they specialize in Thai massage with a blend of cupping. They flow so seamlessly & their presence alone is very comforting, and calming. Jaz knows just where to release, and can always find the root of underlying issues. She unbinds what restricts movement to allow for better function and mobility with those very precise cups, and hands of hers. I can't say enough good things about my family of coworkers as they all have amazing qualities about them. We love working here, & are blessed to be under the guidance of Allan who provides the best environment for us to learn and grow in. We miss all of you guys & look forward to seeing you very soon. read more

I came here initially to purchase a gift certificate for my personal trainer who is a client here. He highly highly recommended it to me a few times during our sessions but I've been so busy between the navy and college. While purchasing my gift certificate I was able to do a walk in session with Renu. This was the deepest, most expertise, most detailed oriented therapeutic massage I have ever had. Growing up in Las Vegas, I've always have Thai massages but now my mind is open. All my stress from law school, training and military melted away.
