The masseuse wouldn't listen to me. He was very rough and jerky. I did not ask for deep tissue on the menu and I was getting heavy pressure with his fingers digging in my skin hard I couldn't relax at all even on the massage table I was in pain the whole time. At the end of the massage he asked if I wanted hot stones and I said no. He then proceeded to use hot stones anyways. I then told him it was too hot and he said don't worry it will cool down. I also ended up getting a bruise on my arm. This is what it looks like right after the session. Most of the movements were basic compression, lots of forearms (Lomi Lomi), kneading, and acupressure points. There wasn't any Swedish style massage technique far as I can tell and we had language barrier. Maybe I was just unlucky with the massage therapist but I'm not coming back. I am currently reading other reviews and I certainly did not receive the same treatment as others have. My foot never got soaked. I specifically asked for 30min chair and 30min feet massage combo then 1 hour massage on the table after. Never at any point asked for hot stones or deep tissue.

As a result, not only did I have the suction marks on my skin, I also have skin blisters (she advised me not to shower for 24 hours, as well as not do anything that would make my back sweat). This also leads to my next point of contention... - My masseuse's English wasn't great, so we had to use Google Translate on her phone to communicate. At least she was very apologetic at what had happened to my back. And... - She didn't massage my face, nor pop my fingers and toes! Experience: We were in a couples room and there seemed to be a handful of rooms available. Shout out to Polly and Sara for being our therapists! They did a great job and they really dug in my problem areas. I enjoy medium to hard pressure and Polly delivered. What stood out to me the most was that after being on our back, they put Peppermint essential oil on our neck and shoulder, which felt amazing! The tip is provide a full service and don't try to cut time or not complete a full body massage just because your customer is sleeping.
