They also don't push back your cuticles, which I guess some places don't? I have never come across that. My big issue is the lack of sanitation. Not a single tool or nail file is sanitized between clients. They all sit in the same stand that is used from client to client. The nail files are not even given a simple spray! The techs still sit behind the useless glass partitions and wear useless masks but they don't sanitize a single thing for their clients! I won't be returning as sanitizing tools is an simple and necessary part of running a nail salon.

When I was told my procedure was completed, I already noticed that there were spaces that required more lashes. Through difficulty with communication, I was told to come back next week (not 2 weeks) and she would fix it. Since then, a third of the lashes had fallen off. I phoned them today (1 week later) and was informed by the male attendant that I would be charged the full refill fee, even though it has only been 1 week, I reminded him twice that the employee said she would fill in the spaces this week as she too noticed them last week when the procedure was completed. He then stated that I could wait the standard 2 weeks and then pay the same refill price. Extremely disappointed with the lack of basic customer satisfaction service. As much as I like to support local community businesses, I will not be going back nor do I recommend this business. Of note, the other review is correct that the prices are different from the posting and when questioned, again, communication is not clear or transparent.

The pedicurist finally came and set me up. She was quiet and didn't communicate -- she just moved my feet around. As another client walked out behind her (rather loudly), she even rolled her eyes. I went for the manicure (a different esthetician), and as we started, there were 2 employees who apparently had nothing to do, so they gossiped and cut their own nails at the manicure table where the clients were. Then halfway through my manicure, they asked me to move to a different station because they had 3 people who wanted to sit in 3 adjacent seats. I thought maybe these 3 were walk-in clients, but no -- they were booked in. Strange that the employees couldn't plan ahead so that I didn't have to move half-way through my service. I didn't stay to let my nails dry completely (some drying drops would have been helpful) because the place was cold and uncomfortable. The manicurist seemed very nice but she didn't speak English, so we couldn't communicate. The place also didn't seem very clean. The manicure table was either dirty or very stained, and the bins containing the tools didn't look like they were ever washed. Only the kind manicurist saved this from being a one-star review.
