All the instructors that I have taken class with are wonderful. Spenser, Samantha, Sasha, Doria & Masako are excellent instructors with clear cues & challenging classes. Each instructor has their own flare which makes choosing what class you want to take almost harder than the class itself. Each instructor is knowledgeable & cares that each student are using correct form & proper breathing techniques. Classes that I have taken have had at the most 6 people in them, it makes the classes more intimate & the instructors able to go around & give corrections when/if needed. Spenser Pilates offers so much that will you always feel challenged & wanting to go back for more because they offer so much. I always feel great & about a 1" taller each time I leave.

The space was nice and cooling with a good view since we were on the fourth floor. Pilates kicked my butt literally, I didn't realize how many muscles it would target. My core and glutes were on fire at the end. We were doing the Pilates reformer class, and it involved a lot of stretching and holding with the machine. Even though this was my first time, the instructor's direction was easy to follow. Time passed by super fast, and by the end of the class, the next class was already rushing in.

I took a pilates class a couple weeks before our vacation so I thought I was ready. Think of this class as a more intense pilates. Our coach, Vanessa, was super sweet! I was nervous at first because I am not too athletic, but the beginner level pilates classes are just challenging enough and allow for students to improve flexibility and endurance. I love coming here for pilates classes twice a week and my favorite instructors so far are Cynthia and Caitlin! Both women are so knowledgeable and provide good feedback to help me improve. They facilitate a friendly and welcoming environment for us all and I truly look forward to each class. Thank you for making this a workout that I really enjoy and hope to continue for many years. If there is one thing I wanted to try the most in the world besides food, it was reformer pilates…read more I've always heard of this studio and passed it a few times over the years, I never took the leap and signed up for a class until this year. I started my journey earlier this year and it's been roughly 8 months now and I am extremely happy that I did. The studio, firstly, is very clean and well-maintained. You can see very clearly that the staff puts a lot of care into the space through their facilities and equipment. They enforce a no-shoes policy and recommend shoes off inside, which really makes it feel even cleaner inside. The instructors here are also very welcoming and understanding of each individual. I had a neck injury halfway through the year and had to adjust the way I did some of the workouts and I was not pressured to complete a workout if I felt I couldn't. You will definitely feel supported in every aspect of your workout here as the staff is very accommodating. I have always felt comfortable and safe attending a class even throughout my recovery. I have noticed that my posture, physical health, mental health, and body have gotten 100x better. I feel stronger every day and more confident as the day continues. Doing mat pilates over the years at home, you aren't certain you are performing the moves correctly but after joining this studio I can confidently do mat pilates on the days I can't attend a class. I've since moved further away from this studio and I still make my now 1.5-hour commute to come to this studio. They have many classes throughout the week and their app makes it easy to sign up. I love their class size of 7, though it isn't 1 on 1, you still get a very similar feeling since the class is on the smaller side compared to other studios. Overall, I would 100% recommend this studio to anyone who is looking to strengthen their body inside and out. I've already invited several friends to join me and they have all loved it. Don't forget to bring grip socks though :)!

We loved the variety--Hot Vinyasa is a super intense workout, standard Vinyasa brings total calmness, and Vinyasa Flow is the perfect middle ground. We dropped it to 4 stars due to the pricing and schedule. A $20 drop-in fee and monthly memberships are way too high for Queens--they're closer to Manhattan prices. Also, working until 6 PM leaves me rushing only to hot yoga. We'd love to see more variety in the later weekday schedule!

The space itself offers a calming atmosphere, mindfully decorated with Buddha statues with pleasant aromas and complimentary tea. The studio itself is spacious and welcoming with a large bathroom, plenty of room to hang coats and store shoes and multiple workout rooms. I took a morning Sculpt and Tone class which was full but not overly packed. The pace of the class was well timed with spurts of work followed by enough breaks to recharge and start the next section of class. The class was a mix of lightweight training and Pilates movements that worked every part of my body. I walked out of class feeling accomplished and ready to take on the day. Classes here are pricey, but worth the investment in my opinion if you're planning to come here on a regular basis. After purchasing one drop in class I received a gift certificate for $30 which will cover another (not sure how long this promo will last) so it's like getting two classes for the price of one!
