Love this place. Today is my 1 year anniversary at Invasion…read moreand the transformation is significant. I am not a body builder by any mean. I was unable to do a single pull-up when I started. Today I can do 10 (on a good day :) ), but I did absolutely got in so much better shape. The coaches are great, very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. the classes are not too big and are always different (which makes it so much more interesting than a gym). I was terrified to start, but once you get over it and go for it, you will be glad you did, I know I am... They will scale it for you depending on your abilities. I still don't work on the max recommended weight, but who cares? I got so much better and I work with the coaches to match the perfect weight and workouts for me. Think about it this way, you come for an hour, work out like crazy and you leave. one hour, no more... which I think is the best. They have classes all day, until late at night, which differentiates them from all the other cross fits in the area and was why I started at Invasion and not the other places. Only later I understood how great the coaches and the place is. Oh, and they teach you how to eat better, which contributes to your workout abilities and your weight. The only "bad" thing is, I have to spend all this money on new clothes because of all the weight I lost... Try it, it will change the way you think about working out...

Truly disappointed in this company. I started a trial run with this location to see how I would…read morelike their classes and guidance. I had hit a weight loss plateau and wanted a guided class to try new workouts. In my third class, I was being helped by a new instructor and Alex (the manager) or so I thought. It was clear that during the whole class that I needed modifications and guidance. In my last station #18, it was a box jump, since I was not guided to not do it, I tried it and felt my knee pop. I was stuck on the box since I couldn't step down with just one functional leg and in excruciating pain. Alex ran over and helped me down and was evaluating my knee. He said to elevate it and ice it and that if I didn't feel better, I should get seen by a physician the next day. He also mentioned "oh, you had an injury already" which I was adamant I had never. Long story short, it's been 4 months later, full right lateral meniscus repair (not a shave down) and thousands in medical bills, I'm using a cane after 2 months preop because of the long recovery due to this injury and a big hit to my weight loss journey. The only response I got from this place was that since I signed a waiver, it was my own liability and any injury is on me. Why have 2 instructors if you don't need to be guided and coached on these dangerous exercises that are not meant for everyone? As a medical professional it is mind boggling that a franchise like this is so irresponsible and has such negligence with their clients after having to pay big bucks to attend these classes. I truly hope this doesn't happen to you because the physical, mental and emotional pain this has caused me all these months is truly devastating . Btw i am 36, so no this shouldn't have happened to me. See attached convos with the staff and their response.

COACH CHANDO: 1)…read moreOBSERVANT - In the 2 days (90 minutes combined) I had visited the training center, he seemed to know everything about me just by the way I was training with him. Keep in mind that there are other students in the class, but he notices every detail about his students, the breath we take per move/reps (even with masks on), 2) PROFESSIONAL & COMMUNICATIVE - With his keen observation skills, he's quick to correct posture or can tell if we've trained before (I say he's psychic), he also has the ability to tell how we carry our backpacks/or handbags and if they are heavy or not, he will know based on our posture if we are the type who have sedimentary jobs or not and advises on how to autocorrect form. I do value the fact as we work out, he tells us where we should be feeling the burn and why and which part of the body we are working. 3) FRIENDLY & WARM/INTERPERSONAL SKILLS - he doesn't intimidate and he can easily make quick connections to build rapport and trust so as we are working out, he empowers us with confidence we need to push ourselves. He intuitively knows our personal limit as to when we need to be pushed hard and when we need to slow it down. F45 PLAINVIEW 1) I've been to many gyms and worked out with many trainers, but i do enjoy the F45 concept, 45 minutes your in and your out with a sweat. This is a great concept for those individuals who lack discipline in a gym environment. 2) Days are scheduled based on what the functional exercises and which area of the body you will be working (core, upper, lower, cardio, etc). 3) The camaraderie you gain when you attend. I only attended 2 sessions and the members welcomed me with open arms and thumbs up support in a few of the exercises I failed at. We all have a common objective in mind and its just getting through the 45 minutes is where we bond at... then its a great feeling when you see them again the very next day. If i could choose to be a member at F45 Plainview, I definitely would. But i'll need to find another F45 (and a Coach Chando) in PNW area. THANK YOU F45 PLAINVIEW & COACH CHANDO! Hoping i can come back and visit again soon!

So simple. Come in and in 30 minutes you'll leave with a total body workout. 30 minutes seemed…read moreshort at first, but after your first session you realize working hard for 30 min is just as effective as your usual 60 min gym routine. Plus, you can come whenever and use their cardio equipment. Hit the treadmill for 15min before/after your workout... there's your 60 min! The spot itself isn't large, but they have more than enough equipment to work every muscle and to keep things interesting; Kettle bells, free weighs, benches, cardio machines, rowers, battle ropes, ladder climber thingie, rope puller thingie... you get the point. It's all here. The trainers don't overwork you, they find your comfort level and then take you from there. I've had two different trainers and both are really friendly, even when you want to run out of the gym and buy a cheeseburger from anyone willing to sell it to you. Bonus points for eucalyptus towels and a water machine. You literally don't have to bring anything but yourself here. There are great deals to be found on the discount websites, but I would suggest calling up and asking about their deals instead. Most of the time they will honor whatever coupon is out there and you don't have to go through a third party middle man. Personal training... do it!

I didn't think a personal trainer would be for me, but I am SO happy I chose Steel Fitness to test…read morethe waters! The space is the perfect size for training someone like me, who is intimidated by large gyms and "meatheads" lol. The trainers are knowledgable and don't pressure you, but they will definitely push you to work out in the best way possible. The staff is SUPER nice and the place really feels like a community, they know you by name and always greet you with a smile. The prices for the training packages can't be beat - you pay for the trainer, but you can come in and use the cardio equipment any day of the week as well! So it basically becomes your personal gym as well. I have recommended this place to so many friends and family. If you're looking to invest in your health, this is the place to do it!
