I had SUCH a fun time at Bodybar! I've been to a lot of Pilates studios across the country, but Bodybar Plano is easily one of the most spacious and beautiful; I was stunned to see so much space in between each reformer, but I guess that's the beauty of suburbia. The decor was super chic as well, and it felt so lovely to be there. I took the Reformer class with Gabby, and I really enjoyed the entire class. I typically take megaformer classes, but Bodybar was a fun way to switch it up. While I found it to be a little bit easier than a megaformer class, it was still a challenging and fun class that consistently burned out my muscles. I especially loved the lunge-lift move that made it feel like I was flying. :) I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in town! read more

Ridiculous rules! If you want to try this place, don't be late or the doors will be locked on you! And you won't be allowed to take the class nor get a refund! Life happens and sometimes people are late, especially their first time trying to find the studio and there's construction all around. Wow! Wow! Wow! This place is incredible! I attend the chair and reformer class and loved every minutes of it. It was challenging but not overly difficult or convoluted. My instructor, Erica B., was very knowledgeable and guided us with great tips to get the most out of our workout. I really appreciated her options for more or less difficulty in nearly every series of movement. I loved having the opportunity to push myself further - thanks Erica! The studio itself is so beautiful and clean. The lighting is soft and welcoming, and there is a giant wall of mirrors so you can check your form (or take selfies)! I didn't try the juice bar, but judging from the other reviews, that was a mistake. I will be back and I will have juice! read more

What a gem of a fitness studio in Dallas suburbia! I went to Bodybar for the Reformer Jump! class through Classpass. I've done lots of Pilates reformer classes before, and here, while the cues don't seem particularly complex, the entire sequence was still challenging. I was surprised by that great soreness in my abs and legs the next day, which I loved. Come here if you don't want to feel pummeled to death at the end of your workout, but still want an efficient burn! read more

I am head over heels in love with bodybar studios and normally hit their Travis Walk location in Dallas but I was lucky enough to try a class at this Plano location last week and Wow was I impressed! The studio is absolutely gorgeous, with stunning light fixtures, exposed stone and a great big mirrored wall so you can check yourself out during class. There is a juice bar located inside for you to pick up a refreshing treat after class or just stop in even if taking class isnt on your schedule. The juices are delicious and made daily! read more

I'm obsessed with this place! I've tried a ton of different fitness classes and studios around Dallas and they just do not compare to bodybar. The instructors are motivating and energetic and the workouts are total body - cardio, toning, and sculpting. The classes are for any fitness level and are still tough and make me sore, even as I get stronger. There's also a yummy raw juice bar (try the lean green sexy machine...yum) and cute workout gear for purchase. The locations are pretty consistent and it seems like most instructors teach everywhere so all of the studios are great! I'm addicted and definitely going to try for the 20 classes in 28 days challenge... can't wait! read more

I've tried a couple of reformer pilates studios in the area and I've got to say Bodybar is my favorite. For some reason, I don't ever feel bored and unchallenged in this studio compared to the others. First of all, the look and feel of this space is calming, clean, and chic. I feel like the classes offered here are harder, the routines are different each and every time, and I'm definitely sore for a few days afterwards! I just didn't get these type of results from the other places so it says a lot about this studio. My favorite classes are the Jump! and Reformer. I agree with one of the other reviews...I'm obsessed with Body Bar. I found Body Bar when I moved to the Plano area. When I walked in for my first appointment I knew I would love this place. I have done Pilates for years and Body Bar is the best studio I've ever attended. When I have to miss a class I get sad. That's how much I enjoy it. I love the versatile schedule they offer along with the times they offer the classes. I love all of the instructors. Chardae always greets me with a smile and Kim at the juice bar is always helping me find my favorite juices. If you haven't been to Body Bar you have to try it. read more

My wife is a regular attendee here and I took a class with her this weekend as part of a Sweating with your Sweetie promotion for Valentine's day. I do Yoga semi-regularly and 'normal' workouts, but Pilates really does hit muscles you were only vaguely aware of much less ones that you would think to use. Can't say enough great things about this studio. I've been a faithful bodybar attendee for almost 2 years (1st year and a half at their Travis location and then the last 6 months at Plano after we moved). I started as an out-of-shape Pilates newbie. It has completely changed my body, my mindset about exercise, and my daily routine! The workouts vary every time (after 2 years I'm still encountering exercises I've never done before) and all of the different formats like chair, jump, power tower, abs&arms, etc offer plenty of variety. I feel strong, sore, and stretched after each workout. They offer many modifications to make each exercise easier/ harder and often offer modifications for people with injuries if you speak up. The instructors are so welcoming and always ask for feedback or for input on the workouts. Both studios are clean, big, and have great music! The equipment has recently been updated, the app is easy to use.... I could go on and on but save yourself the time and go to a class or two. You'll soon be addicted like me! read more

My wife and sister-in-law have attended several times and kept going on about what a great workout it was. They urged me to give it a try and after much encouragement I checked it out. I was and continue to be impressed. I will first state the obvious that it is a much different workout experience than weights and running. I quite enjoyed it and fatigued my muscles over the course of the workout. In the classes I've attended I have only not been the only guy once. The instructors do a great job of being welcoming and explaining the exercises. They appeared genuinely glad I was there and the people in the class seemed to not mind too much as well. If you aren't used to this sort of thing and are looking to confuse your muscles, give it a try. read more

I have never attended an exercise class here, so I cannot speak to that. However, I have stopped by a few times to visit their juice bar. I live nearby and was wanting to find a good juice bar. I stopped by this morning before work to grab some juice. I was rudely greeted by the instructor, and was treated like I was such an inconvience. She snipped at me, stating that they only had one flavor available (which was fine) and that I could only pay with cash (which was fine). She had to go in the back to get my change, and then threw it on the counter. I understand that she was in the middle of teaching a class, but don't advertise your juice bar if there is no one there to sell the juice. I just don't appreciate being made feel like I was such an inconvience. I will now be looking for a new juice bar. read more

And I was charged late cancel fee $15 twice without my authorization or consent for one class that I canceled within their cancellation period using their app. When I reached out to the owner and explained what had happened rather than apologizing and refunding my money she all but called me a liar. Highly Recommend! Great workout and teachers with lots of energy - best reformers and equipment! Studio is always clean and only 12 people to a class so a lot of personal attention. Have been going to BodyBar for over 4 years and still get sore after workouts. Every workout is different so classes are never boring and you get to workout different muscles all the time - Teachers will adapt to your fitness level - there are new people coming to class all the time so not intimidating to newcomers. Chardae is the BEST! She is always positive, encouraging, and energetic, even at 5:45 am. Chardae's workouts are always a challenge, and she pays close attention to each individual in her class, and makes sure you have the correct posture at all times. I started working out at BodyBar about two months ago and I simply love it. I was at first concerned I wouldn't be able to keep up with the rest of the class as I'm 58 years old and I hadn't worked out in some time. That didn't turn out to be the case. The BodyBar staff, instructors, and the other class participants have been so friendly and caring ~ and there are a great variety of classes from which to choose. I've been able to do things in class I never thought possible with everyone's encouragement. I've learned to really challenge myself and I'm now reaping the results ~ weight loss, greater strength, a shrinking waistline, and a toner body. I would say to anyone ~ try it!!! I've been a client of bodybar Studios Plano for over a month now & I absolutely love it. The instructors are energetic, and they motivate you to embrace and work through "the burn". Walked in to this place to get a juice or smoothie, something healthy. No one even came to the front or acknowledged I was there. There wasnt any classes going on. Never saw a soul the 5 mins I was there waiting to see about a juice. I saw that there was a cooler that had some juice in it. Didn't appear that you could even order off a menu, maybe what was in the cooler is all you got to chose from. Pretty disappointed. Collin County really has no place to get fresh juiced raw fruits and veggies. Hopefully one day the juice market/ demand will pick up in Texas and this place will get busy and be sucessful. read more
