When attempting to reschedule on two occasions the next available appointment was over four weeks away. The final cancellation was less than one hour before my scheduled appointment time. I was never re contacted to rescheudle the final session, so six weeks later I had to request a refund. Considering other massage therapists I have used this treatment was unprofessional and disrupts therapeutic resuslts gained from consistent sessions. I wanted to enjoy this treatment but the experience was more stressful than its worth.

Masseuse brought dog in room, asked me to go golfing with him- INAPPROPRIATE, constantly tried to make conversation during massage, inquired about my personal life- even attempting to text me a "what's up" on the weekend (after I never went back and gave up my sessions, which I immediately blocked the message because that's not ok), and did not pick up on cues that I was uncomfortable. Never should I feel uncomfortable if it's a truly professional place. Go somewhere else if you want a peaceful respectable massage. My skin crawls that I even went for as long as I did and I hope to save someone else the trouble. Not saying the guy was a bad person, but needs to go back to school to learn professionalism.

I walked in and she greeted me right away and we spent a few minutes going over the forms I filled out online ahead of my appointment. It's easy to see that Liz is very knowledgeable about acupuncture and the human body. She explained what she would do during my appointment and answered all of my questions. Liz - and the relaxing sounds and decor of her office - put me at ease right away. First - acupuncture! She inserted a few needles in my hands, face, and legs, and left me to relax. I thought I would be too alert to fall asleep, but I got used to the feeling of the needles after a moment, and the next thing I knew, Liz was back to remove them. Next - Gua Sha. Liz knew about my tense neck and shoulders and suggested this treatment. I Googled it in advance, so I knew I'd have a lot of red/purple coloring in my neck and back. I am very red, but it's worth it! My neck and shoulders are moving much more freely. I already made my next acupuncture appointment. I tore my hamstring and it's been a constant battle for the past decade. Run, tweak, rest, run a little slower, tweak, rest. Run a lot slower, and yup, tweak again, and then just sit around feeling sorry for yourself for getting old. Next thing you know, you can't break a 10 minute mile without fear of tweaking again. That's like a fast walk! So I spent a total of 15 minutes being stretched and poked a little. Not sure what happened really. Went downstairs and jogged for about two minutes and I felt fine. I asked how many more treatments I'd need. "Zero, I hope. You should be good to go." So I'm a week out and it's winter here so managed a couple treadmill sessions at the local Y. Didn't want to be greedy, but did some interval training at 8:30 pace and NADA. No tightness. No twinge. Nothing. Pain FREE! It's like voodoo magic. Will try to work my way up, but it's literally the most too good to be true, but it really is true moment I've experienced in a long time!
