The sessions themselves have been smooth and the environment inside has been professional and welcoming. I also want to acknowledge Makana, who has been great during my visits. The customer service and professionalism he's shown have been much more aligned with the type of experience I originally remembered from years ago when I visited BodyFix at their previous location. I've had good experiences here in the past as well, which is part of why I decided to purchase the package in the first place. Everyone can have an off moment or an awkward interaction, and I believe it's important to acknowledge when things improve or when the broader experience reflects positively on a business. Located near Ward area (across from the old sports authority). Parking is minimal and not sure if you can do street parking. As you walk in there's a cute little waiting area. Someone will check you in. We waited a few minutes for him to be done with another client and he seen us right away. Brought my daughter in due to her back and knee being sore from sports. Uncle Kekoa was very knowledgeable and explained everything before even doing anything on my daughter. Her favorite thing to do was the compression on her legs. Never got a chance to write this but Kekoa and Jenny are the best when it comes to giving great customer services and understanding the products they are presenting. The price is very reasonable and Kekoa or Jenny really good at talking about how the red light therapy benefits with your well being. They definitely show how passionate they are about health and wellness. The facilities are always clean and the machines never look dirty. Each sessions they are wiped down and sanitize for each customers that are coming in. Best part is that they make the schedule far apart from one another so you don't have a crowded waiting area. Where do I begin. I was kind of skeptical at first about trying alternative physical recovery methods as an athlete, but Body Fix has relinquished any skepticism. My first visit was the first of many and I continue to go two months later. I was greeted by Dr. Kekoa and he went over exactly how red light technology works and what to expect. He covered all the health benefits that red light therapy offers. I shared with him some of the ailments I experience and he was really receptive and informed me how it would benefit me. The layout of this location consists of individual private rooms with one red light bed in each. It's well ventilated so it's nice and cool. The room has the essentials and more. They have eye protection to help reduce the brightness of the lights. They also have a small head pillow for head and neck support along with hand sanitizer and make up removing wipes. Cleanliness is always my concern and the rooms are very well maintained and cleaned after every use. My first session went really well. There's something about laying down in a quiet, calm environment for 20 minutes that just completely relaxes me. It's almost like a mini meditation session. It went by in a flash and before I knew it the red light session came to an end and the lights turned off indicating the 20 minutes were up. I wish it lasted longer!! I got out feeling very refreshed and tingly. I felt great! Some of the physical ailments I had been having subsided after going a couple of times which had kept me coming back. My son plays basketball and he tweaked his right ankle.
