However, it's in a great spot in a lovely shopping plaza and easy to navigate to. The Lakewood location has flexible hours so you can fit in a quick session into your day!

It took about 45 mins for the entire teeth whitening process. She was very gentle and had great bedside manners. My shade was 2x whiter than my original shade (see photo). My technician was kind, but she did have a few different personal conversations on the phone during my 15 minute whitening. Donna explained everything very well and walked me through the steps as she did them. However, at the end of my session, there were very bright fluoride stains on my teeth and the one dark spot on my teeth was extremely visible. It really freaked me out and I wasn't even able to pay attention to the whitening of the rest of my teeth because I was internally having a panic attack. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that this is normal and to be expected but that everything will fade so that the white and dark spots aren't epically noticeable. When I asked about them, I was told that there's nothing that could be done except hope that it fades, that most people have spots like these and that a lot of people can whiten their teeth to the absolute extreme and you'll still see those brighter white spots on their teeth... yikes! Although she was so kind to me, I am really wary about returning or pursuing any other teeth whitening experience because I was so shaken up by the fear that I was going to have bright white splotches on my front teeth forever. Thankfully, these did fade starting about 15 minutes after I left. But I was still so obsessed checking to see how noticeable these stains were after leaving that I'm never even took the time to evaluate whether my teeth were brighter.

This was so worth it. I am such a big fan of Jake and recently listened to a podcast in where she talks about striving to provide the best customer experience. Her team failed to live up to that promise. I think it may have been a lack of communication issue. I really do hope that's all it was. I scheduled a make up appointment the day of. I called the location and confirmed date and time. I live an hour away and was looking forward to being glammed up at The Body Labb with a MUA I had heard/seen so many great things about. I arrive to my appointment right on time. I had called ahead to advise them I would be maybe 3 minutes late and the young lady who answered the phone was so polite and said to not worry about it. So there was notification of me still planning on arriving to said appointment. No one greets me and the MUA I booked with had someone in the chair. I assumed maybe that appointment was late and it was about to finish up. I don't know anything about make up so I could not determine if it was half way in or almost done. After 35 minutes of waiting I finally said I was such time appointment and asked the MUA if i had some time to run to the store to grab something to drink. The MUA states yes. I go and purchase the drink only to come back and have the MUA tell me they are feeling ill and cannot take care of me. This is 45 minutes after my scheduled time. The person offered to have the other MUA work on me but that person had a few people there. I felt like if I accepted I would be an inconvenience and I would also be pushing my upcoming plans even more behind. My original person apologized and offered a discount for the next time I book and was very polite. I would've really appreciated a phone call to cancel the appointment if the person was feeling ill. I was there for 50 minutes total with no idea that my appointment would not take place. I could've tried getting in somewhere else. I declined the offer of the other MUA taking care of me because at that point I felt that i would be pushing my plans back even more. When I called to advise them on the probability of being late, I would've appreciated them to tell me that the appointment was canceled due to illness. I would've been understanding of that even if I was already close by. Maybe the MUA didn't relay the message of leaving for the day to the young lady who answered the phone. I hope this never happens to anyone else and this simply was an off day.
