What I love is that there's been no pressure for unnecessary procedures and they always provide solid tips. I've left with clean, shining teeth and a comfortable experience each time I'd argue that what makes this office stand out most is the staff. I see many of the same friendly faces each visit, and they always take the time to remember your name, what's going on in your life, and even set Alexa devices to whatever radio station you want so the appointment feels relaxed instead of clinical. I also decided to do clear aligners through them using the Reveal Clear Aligners system. I had been on the fence for years, but saw this recommendation as it was more affordable than Invisalign and other options I looked at, and the results were great for closing gaps in my teeth. The whole process was smooth, well‑explained, and easy to stick with. Waverly has earned my trust, and I plan to keep coming back. Highly recommend this office and dental team!

dr. charlie carmichael is an absolute gem…read more he has been my dentist over 10 years, and his staff is & has always been nice and professional. dr. carmichael has a gentle hand, EXCELLENT bedside manners, and is genuinely concerned about his patients - in 2021 i had unexpected pain over early in the am (between 1:30 - 2:30) & he phoned me back & told me to come into the office as soon as i could after his office opened. upon arriving, they fit me in as a walk-in & dr. carmichael examined me & informed an upper molar on the left had cut a hole on the backside of gum and needed to be extracted - approximately 20 mins later, that tooth was outta there. on 06.13.24, i had a scheduled appointment for a wisdom tooth issue, and again, within 20 mins, the gentle hands surgically removed the tooth. i have had very minimum pain, even after the local anesthesia began to subside. he is a god-send to the industry, and without hesitation, i highly recommended dr. charlie carmichael blessings. have a happy 1, dinkens

I went in today to the Mint Uptown location for an annual checkup with a cleaning and was VERY pleased with my experience! Upon check in, Danna was kind and helpful. My dental assistant was Brigham who did a wonderful job. He had such a great attitude! My dental hygienist was Taylor and she was gentle, yet thorough. Dr. Spence had excellent bedside manner and was able to take care of a chipped filling same day. I am very grateful these people work at my new Mint location! :)

He continued to gripe about how my earring was in the way of all the images and would ask my why I could not open my mouth further. When I responded "it hurts" he did not seem to care at all that I was in pain. As far as the earring goes it was fused closed and I have not been able to remove it since the wreck when I tried to explain that he continued to cut me off each and every time. I think I was cut off in mid sentence about 15 times through my consultation. My favorite was when her personally insulted me when I did not understand a question. I was trying to clarify and instead just got insults dished at me the entire time. Even if he was the only specialist I would rather deal with the pain than see him. He lacks empathy and should take a course on bedside manners. He even quizzed me about how I obtained my dental molds and such and when I told him he dismissed That Explanation. He also told me that everything was in alignment and my retainers should fit... but they do not. Never did he even have me put them on To even check. This accident I was in was extremely traumatic and has impacted multiple portions of my life. I did not need to be treated by him poorly on top of everything else I have to deal with. The only reason this review gets 1 star is because he staff was very pleasant. I should have listened to the recent terrible google reviews on his office. I would also like to mention that I was there 12 minutes before my appointment time and still had to wait 20 minutes past my scheduled time.

The level of customer service I have received since my care was transferred from the Oak Lawn…read morelocation to the Wycliff office. This office is ALL about the money and not the service. I began my treatment at the Oak Lawn office, where I consistently received excellent care and service. Unfortunately, after that office closed and my treatment was transferred to the Wycliff location, my experience has been extremely disappointing. During my appointment with Dr. Patel in approximately October 2025, my Invisalign attachments were removed, and I was told that my teeth were straight and my treatment was complete. However, the primary tooth that led me to pursue Invisalign treatment was still visibly stacked and not properly aligned. It was obvious that my treatment goals had not been achieved. At that same appointment, I was required to pay $500 for a retainer, which I paid without hesitation. I questioned why the retainer was not included in my treatment, and I was told that because I had selected the "Lite Ortho" plan, retainers were not covered under my contract. I was unable to verify this because I was never provided a copy of my treatment contract. When I returned to be fitted for my retainer, I informed Dr. Patel that I was not satisfied with the results because my tooth remained misaligned. The office took new photographs, reattached my Invisalign attachments, and ordered a refinement. I was advised that my treatment plan only included one modification. After completing the refinement trays, the tooth still required a small amount of movement. At that point, Dr. Patel brought in the orthodontist to examine my teeth. Instead of completing my treatment, they attempted to have me sign a completely new Invisalign contract that was significantly more expensive than the original treatment plan. I refused to sign because I believed my original treatment had not been completed as promised. Following that appointment, Lionel Johnson from the finance department told me he would contact me when my new trays arrived. That conversation occurred in April 2026. It has now been more than three months, and I have received no meaningful communication from your office. I have repeatedly called seeking updates, but each time I receive the same response that my trays have been ordered but have not yet arrived. No one has returned my calls, no one has provided an estimated timeline, and no one has explained why there has been such a lengthy delay. To make matters worse, I still have Invisalign attachments bonded to my teeth. No one has contacted me to remove them, discuss my treatment status, or explain whether my treatment has been discontinued. I have essentially been left in limbo while continuing to receive excuse after excuse.

Female-operated, the staff is friendly and helpful. I left my last dentist due to them upselling and finding "issues": was told I had "advanced gum disease" needing thousands in treatment. In contrast, GE Dental did x-rays and check up finding no issues with gums or signs of cavities. Always get a second opinion, and this office is a good place to start.
