The food was fresh, flavorful, and honestly some of the best Mediterranean food we've had in a long time. Everything we ordered was delicious. But what really stood out was the atmosphere and the staff. Every employee seemed genuinely happy, friendly, and like they truly enjoyed being there. Ralph even commented to one of the staff members that the owner or boss must be doing something right because you could just feel it walking in. A heavy peppering with ground sumac always brightens up the hummus and the sandwich; well, any Mediterranean food for that matter. (Sumac, yes, the same stuff that grows on the roadsides in Oklahoma.) Always ask for it. Something I forgot about, the Cardamon Iced tea. This is a refreshing, tasty drink. Ali Baba's is one of the very few Mediterranean restaurants that serves it. Try it if you haven't The service is friendly/adequate. Order at the counter. Your food is delivered to the table.
