History
Established in 2016.
Whether training at athletic facilities, Doctors' offices, or Physical Therapy clinics, people often say they feel like they've worked out, stretched, and relaxed - all at the same time - and want to know what this system is called.
The fountain for this lineage is Boudhanath, Nepal, a town made famous for its central monument often simply called "Boudha", pronounced Boda, which means "Awakening".
This monument is the basis for our logo and name, so folks can tell their friends it was yoga from Boudha that benefited their lives - and we hope Boda Yoga can improve the quality of your life too.
Meet the Business Owner: Neal W.
Neal Warren is certified through the American College of Sports Medicine and has been teaching yoga for thirteen years.
After focusing on Asian cultures and philosophies for his B.A., he lived and worked at yoga and meditation retreat centers in Europe for over five years. During that time, Neal spent ten months studying in Asia, learning mental and physical training from Sri Lanka to Nepal, and from the Tibetan Plateau and Japan. He has selected from what he learned in Asia, and while working in Europe, for the specific needs of people he trains today. Neal makes sure that any flexibility training is integrated into a complete program that improves overall strength and stress reduction.
When he isn't working out or coaching, you can find him in open water, free running, or meditating. His favorite pastimes include reading ancient Pali and Sanskrit texts, enjoying nature, and spending time with his wife and family.
