Main dishes are $14.50 to $32.00. Sadly, no pupusas when we went. - 3x Empanada Colombiana ($1.50) - hot, crunchy - Tamal ($5.00) - chicken was a touch dry but good flavour. Topped with pickled red onion - Arroz con pollo ($14.50) - best dish that we ordered. Tasty green rice (with peas and diced carrots), chicken leg was nicely roasted - Bandeja paisa ($27.00) - crispy chicharron, tasty chorizo sausage. Not much shredded beef. Pricey plate; would try something else instead - Picado criolla ($21.00) - cassava and plantain were great. Nice variety with pork ribs, sausage, potato

I went with a friend who comes here one afternoon in December, so we sampled from the Happy Hour…read moremenu and a few drinks from their regular drinks menu. We tried: Happy hour Cubano - I appreciated it that it was not greasy, and wasn't a goopy mess of mayo like other ones I've had. I think I would like a bit more meat in it, but overall it was good. Happy hour burger - it was actually pretty good. The bun was fresh, the veggies crisp, and the patty was a good smash burger with nice flavour. If I were ordering it again, I would ask for an extra patty, as the meat gets a bit lost with everything in the burger. Happy hour chips & salsa - we added guacamole to our order. The salsa was very bland. We both doused each chip we ate with the very mild hot sauce they brought to the table. The chips were good. Happy hour beers - both the house lime lager and ale were tasty. The Cuban old fashioned - my friend enjoyed her drink. I thought it was too sweet. Santa Clara sling - it was good, but needed more acidity and was sweet. Classic pineapple daiquiri - good but needed more lime. I appreciated that while it wasn't on the menu, they made it for me and only charged me $10 during happy hour! Guava margarita slush - it was actually pretty good but a bit too sweet for us. We fixed that by adding a couple of extra shots of tequila to it. The place got very busy by 5:30pm, and the atmosphere was lively and staff were great. I think my main quibble is that the drinks and food menu seems to think it's mostly a Mexican restaurant, which is why I'm only giving it 3 stars.

It is my new favorite restaurant in Vancouver.

Parking is available in the lot behind the building, as well on the side streets. The venue looks like it used to be someone's house. There's even what looks like a living room downstairs. Definitely a strange layout. Not sure what goes on there, but the regular dining room seems to be upstairs. There is a nice large S facing patio and large bar area. The place is brightly coloured, with yellow and orange walls. Staff are friendly. No complaints. I had the alambra carnivoro. This thing is pretty epic. Basically a pile of fajita fillings (meat, peppers, onions, peppers, cheese, and more meat bits) in a pile, served with soft tortillas and a pile of sides (rice, refried beans, salsa, and guacamole). I just sat and stared at the big beautiful dish. Maybe I was super hungry, but it was very delicious. I left satisfied and happy. Definitely worth checking out if one needs a Mexican fix in the area. Recommended.

I…read moregot this instead of the Taco Tuesdays special - 3 tacos for $12 - because the BoB menu had enchiladas for the main. I love enchilada and that's always my go to order. For the starter I ordered the Esquites. It was nice but too liquidy after a while. The chicken enchilada with red sauce was ok. The refried beans and rice were not the best I had and that was usually my favorite part. The dessert was Passionfruit cheesecake. Initially they said it was out of stock and would replace with tres leches cake (yay my fave). But they somehow managed to find the Passionfruit cheesecake and served that. It was not good at all. It didn't taste like cheesecake. Good thing that's usually not on the menu. R had the tacos instead. I tried some of that. He got the Birria, asada and pastor. Of those, I prefer the pastor. Very tender and flavorful. The horchata was pretty good but at $7, I thought that was a bit on the high side. We may come back for taco Tuesday ($4 each with min 3 purchased) or burrito Wednesday ($14) in future. I'm glad this place is being used again after the Greek restaurant closed when the owners retired. The layout is still the same. It can get really loud at any of the tables by the speakers. The music kinda drowns out any conversation. Parking is available behind. Walking distance to both Patterson and Joyce skytrain stations. Or there's the bus stop nearby.

Apparently its more than twice the floor space as their current location in Port Moody. They plan to open up a patio in the back of their location soon. As for their authentic Mexican food and service we would rate this place 10/10, only because it was a week day night and they've only been open 1 week in. They officially launch this August 28 with 1 free new flavored margarita with your meal. The bright decor and ambience was warm and inviting. It won't be long before this new location is shared with everyone. If you crave authentic Mexican food, this restaurant will meet or exceed your expectations.

Our waiter was incredibly attentive, and the service was quick. We kicked things off with some drinks. We should have arrived 30 minutes earlier to enjoy their happy hour. Their drinks are both strong and delicious. It's a fantastic opportunity to try something new, especially since you don't get to experience Greek spirits every day. The food was just as tasty. We started with the calamari and the house spreads - we had the hummus, tzatziki, and roasted eggplant dip. It was so good that we had to order more pita bread. For our mains, we shared three different dishes: short ribs, lamb meatballs, and lamb roasted shoulder. The flavors were rich and well-seasoned. That, combined with their drinks, was a perfect match. Don't come here after eating a snack beforehand; make sure you're hungry because you'll be finishing your plate and the person you're with. I would definitely return here without hesitation to try the rest of the menu.

I thought it was a burger place befoer looking at the menu. They do fish & chips, salads, wraps, burgers, burritos, fried chicken, and fries. This is pretty impressive I must say. Special mention. I just stood there and stared. The menu boards inside the restaurant run the entire length of the counter. Staff are friendly, though the ordering is quite slow. As Andrew M mentioned, the layout is indeed quite inefficient. There are only 4 small tables (8 seats total) for the entire place, along a wall. The rest of it is one giant kitchen. Best to do takeout to be honest. The fish and chips were pretty decent, but quite pricy. Not great value. Fries were honestly quite mediocre. I'd stick to the cheaper items such as wraps or burgers. Wouldn't mind coming back to try some of the other stuff at some point.

I don't know if chef will kill me, but he offered us the staff-only handwashing station bc we came in filthy after a day of gardening. I don't know if this is offered to every guest. I was happy chef let us wash our hands but I think this was a one off. People need a place to wash their hands, despite staff only areas. Also people like to go to the bathroom when they're dining in. 5) Parking: you can park out back: they share space w Beefway, or park along Kingsway off hours. Chef was so communicative & generous in my order. My friend got the double burger, and we shared chili fries. Everything was top tier, even the chili fries. Just not chilli: just spiced beef crumble. But to all the fries haters who posted: you are SOOO off! These were twice fried fries (crispy outside, soft inside), plus the spicy dust is amazing! Edit: Downlow fries have better dust.
