I am surprised to see such bad reviews when I had an excellent experience!! I had a flat tire and AAA sent first a technician that could not remove my tire. He gave up within few minutes and said the screws were too tight and that o I was going to need a towing service. I had to call AAA again and continued waiting. But this is when Danny came to my rescue!! He was wondering why the first guy could not remove my tire and wanted to try. He did and was able to do it! So he resolved my problem in less than 10 minutes!! He went above and beyond with a great attitude!! I really valued his honesty and commitment to offer the best service!! Thanks Danny!! I have not used this towing company and my review is based of an interaction with one of their drivers that purposely speed up to try and hit me. I had my two kids in the car and the tow truck sped up to try and t bone me, in some way to try and scare me and ended up super close to hitting me. I have dash cam footage of this, and it shows how far back he was. Very unprofessional and dangerous driver. What's the point of the driver doing this? Nothing. The Bobs towing driver put my kids in danger by pulling this little stunt and then tried to insult me. read more

If AAA assigned Bob's towing to come to the rescue, just cancel the towing service and ask for another towing company. Unprofessional. It saddens me to read the reviews for Bobs Towing. While I can sympathize with these yelpers' experiences, I actually had the best experience with this independent roadside assistance company contracted by AAA. I was having one of those days when I needed Roadside assistance twice in one day within a two hour span. Yes. Twice. Since its winter time, my Tacoma double cab has not been in full use like it would be in the summer time. So it's been sitting on my driveway being neglected by me. When I needed it one day to pick up a friend at the airport, it wouldn't start. So my AAA rep said Bobs towing ETA should be within thirty minutes. Well Ron arrived within fifteen minutes. He jumped it , checked everything out and said I need to start up my truck at least a few times a week. And he said to let the truck running right now and allow it to idle for another 15 mins. Well I didn't listen. I took off. I went to my nearby Target to buy a few things on my way to the airport to pick up my friend. Well it slipped my mind that I was suppose to let it idle for another 15 minutes. So I turned off the engine before I realized what I just did. Ugh!!! I tried to turn back on my engine and it wouldn't start! !! ££!*#&£÷/) ₩+}\《¡*£÷£÷£+)¿》》~]{|{ So back to calling my AAA for roadside assistance and since Bobs Towing is nearby me, they were going to send out a tech ETA thirty minutes. Had a great experience with Bob's towing. After so many other towing companies cancelled my service calls, Bob's Towing service came to the rescue after waiting 10 1/2 hours for pick-up. The driver was nice and professional (Andre) and the dispatcher Al was great ! These guys will jump your car but ruin something else and when you complain the manager charlie is rude and uses foul language. Jumping a car is a simple job any bum can do it but they even messed that up. Today's cars are more computers than cars and these jokers have no clue. They just know the old fashioned way. Great service and AMAZING people! My transmission went out about halfway through my long trip home. I was stuck on the side of the road with 2 dogs, in an unfamiliar area, and on a Sunday where most places are closed. I started to panic until Bob's Towing came to the rescue! They were quick to find me and unbelievably kind to me and my pups while towing me back to town. Jason was even able to take a look at my car and give me recommendations on where to get it fixed. Called aaa. At 3 25. Bob's towing called at 3:55 to say they were 10 mins away. 5:00. I called aaa to cancel because mechanic shop was closing already. If I could give a minus stars it would be minus 10. They should just close this business. read more

My tire was flat at my office. Called AAA to get my spare put on. They said it would be 30 minutes. 5 minutes later, driver called to say he was here. 7 minutes later, tire was changed, bad tire back in holder and driver thanked me for calling. Driver was so nice as well as efficient! read more

I cant believe AAA contracts with these lying idiots. I called in the morning to arrange for a lunch time tow(12:30), at 12:30 they called and said would arrive at 1, at 1 they said their less than 2 miles away, at 1:30 they said it was less than 1 mile away. Its 2 and I'm still waiting. read more

so i was leaving work and i realized i had a flat tire. it wasnt flat flat but it was really low. i changed it out for my spare only to find out my spare is flat -_-. i was debating if i should just drive it to costco down the block just to fill it up, but i didnt want to take the risk and i called AAA. i told them i only needed air, i dont need a tow truck. they told me a company called bob's towing will be at my location in 30 mins. as i waited, it starts to sprinkle. thank goodness i have AAA right?! WRONG!! some guy calls me about 20-25 mins later asking me where i was. he said he was in the parking lot in the corner. i told him i was right where i told him ill be. i didnt see him so i figured he didnt even try to find me as the parking lot i was in wasnt even big, although it did circle around 2 building like an 8. my car was practically the only car in the parking lot too as everyone has left from work. anyways, he finally finds me a few mins later and he sees my tire is flat. he ask me what i needed. so i explained that my tire was flat, i changed to my spare and that was flat as well. he said, "o. you going to need a tow truck." then i asked him if he can just fill my tires up and he said no, it would be better to get a tow truck now because it will only be using 1 credit from AAA anyways. so i asked him if he can even fill up my tires because that is what i called AAA for. he said yes. so i asked him why he doesnt just fill me up and he said "well your tires is going to go flat again anyways if i fill it up. you are going to need a tow truck to tow your car to get your tire repaired." i asked if there was even a tire shop opened at the moment and he said yes and pointed some random ass direction. i said "why dont you just fill me up and ill just drive over there real quick." he then says " so you going to stop by a tire shop on your way home?" i said yes and he just smirks at me like i was lying. im not really good at thinking quickly and i dont know what i was thinking, but i just decided to agree with him. i told him i would need a flat bed because my car is very low and he kind of just brushed me off. he then gets on his phone, and then gets in his car because there's a light rain now. i figured he was calling to get a tow out here for me. a min or 2 later he just takes off. doesnt even tell me anything. i dont even know if a tow is coming or how long it would take. i called AAA to see what was going on and they said they were never contacted and that maybe the guy called his company for a tow. well i didnt want to wait around to find out if he was coming back for me or not so i cancelled. i had to carry my tire to pepboys which, thankfully was only across the street and still open. they filled up my tire and checked it. they said they didnt find any puncture and it held it's pressure for 10 mins so the tire didnt look bad. i brought my tire back and now it's raining HARD and it's dark. went to get my emergency flash light in the car and of course, it is out of battery. it was really hard finding the jack point just by feel and hand tightening the lug nuts because my hands were numb from how cold and wet they were. i got off work at 530. didnt get finish for my car until 830. the guy's name was hector. THANKS ALOT HECTOR!! i hope you get a flat tire tonight and your phone runs out of battery so you have to change your tires in the fucking freezing rain asshole!! read more

Used AAA, who sent Bob's towing. Two blocks from the mechanic, the tow truck breaks down. So the driver calls his company for additional help. Three hours later, still no one arrived. In the meantime, I was stuck in a tow truck in the middle of a busy boulevard, 90 degree temp, the window would not roll down. Police arrived cause we are blocking traffic. Finally, I just told the driver I need to leave, I cannot wait here any longer. I got out of the tow truck and left. Almost 4 hours later I got a call from the mechanic that my car finally arrived. I had to get my car towed today and AAA connected me to a driver from this company. Bob's called me back and asked where I was located, which I gave them said they would arrive within 30 mins. The driver then calls me and asks for our location again about 15 mins later. I give it to him and he hangs up. Another few minutes goes by and I call them to check on the drivers progress. They said they do not send drivers into the area I was in and would have to call AAA again for another truck to come out. How can you let someone think that there is a truck coming for you and your vehicle and not let them know there is actually no one coming. How absolutely brainless can you be? This cause me to be to late to pick up a rental car and go out of my way another 15 miles to find a place that was open. read more

okay i'm leaving one star cause i have to. the dispatcher Claudia is an unhelpful, rude person. she gave me not one, not two but THREE wrong times the driver was supposed to get to my location. it's 1:50 in the morning (later than she said he'd be here i might add) and i'm sitting here on the side of the road. she had the nerve to cut me off when i was talking.
