my tire blew right at the exit to the high and this way the closest place. they didn't have the tire I needed so they got me a ride to the place that did and then they changed it for me, getting me in between appointments. amazing people, theyre very kind. absolutely amazing experience!! read more

I was referred to Bob's by a friend who said the business does a great job and doesn't price gouge. I called and set up an appointment to drop my car off. I figured doing that my car would be there all day. I arrived at 8:10. It's tricky getting in their lot. You can't get in off of Grand River. You have to go in near Dollar Tree. Anyway, got there and they immediately got my car checked in. Within an hour they called me and explained what needed to be done and gave me a quote. I needed new brake pads and rotors. I can't say whether the price was fair or not, but I needed it done so I went with it. Time is money so I didn't want to get a bunch of quotes. An hour and a half later they called and said my car was done. 2.5 hours was all it took and I was pleased with that. I went in to pick up my car and the check out process was easy. Brakes are working great. All of the staff I interacted with were great. I appreciate the fast and friendly service! read more

Shout out to Bob's Tire & Auto Service (again). I had a dragging noise I didn't want to take on US23 in my commute. Showed up as they were opening bays and pulling out a tire rack this morning with no appointment. In the time it took me to tell Bill that I'd dropped it off, they were looking at it, and he could pick me up and take me home, it was out for a drive, up on the lift, and one of the mechanics was calling me as I sat in their room: loose heat shield grinding on a tire (dammed construction). He had it off and my car ready to go by 8:30....NO CHARGE. C'mon. Who gives that kind of service these days? We're loyal customers and this is why. read more

I've been taking my cars to Bob's Tire & Auto Service for years. They are always honest. They tell you if a repair is critical, or if the repair can wait. The prices are always reasonable and the service is fast. I couldn't imagine taking my cars anywhere else. read more

Highly recommend for your car care needs. We've taken our cars to them a few times over the past year (we are newer to the area) for regular maintenance to all new brakes with the works. You can't beat their excellent service and stellar pricing! We are customers for life now. read more

My starter needed to be replaced ASAP. They quoted a VERY reasonable price, much less than others in town. I brought my vehicle in just before closing and it was done within 24 hours. I highly recommend! read more

I purchased a set of four new tires. Bob's pricing was $100.00 less than other big named tire stores. I had an appointment and they finished well before the time they said they needed. Everything has been running smoothly for a few weeks. Very happy with this service. read more

We've gone to Bob's for over 20 years. It's such a gift to have a garage that we completely trust. They never try to push unnecessary or premature services or products. Can't say enough good things about them! read more

Wow. The people here are beyond kind and caring, even for the fact that I'm a car-uneducated woman. My tire appointment for winter tires was at 7. I got there at 6:30 since I wasn't driving back to my house over ice to come back to bobs again going over ice for new tires so I hung in town after getting out of work at 5. They took my keys at 6:30 even though I was early and immediately starting working on getting my tire into the shop and getting my current tires off. They were very quick about getting everything done, and even checked my brakes while they were under my car, and told me I'll need brake work soon. They even printed out estimates for the brake work and told me about rotating winter tires for maximum effectiveness all winter. Then they took my payment and out my old tires in my car for me to take home to swap back to come spring time to finish them off. Everyone I talked to while there was kind and had a genuine smile as if they enjoyed working there. Seems like a great place to work at, and a great place to get work done at. I'll be going here, as my dad has, for many years to come. Their prices were also wayyy cheaper than other places I looked at for the same exact tire swap. It was also $5 cheaper than I expected which isn't much but is always a happy surprise. I don't usually do this, but thank you Bob's Tire's staff for making my experience as quick and painless as possible yesterday evening. It means a lot when people actually try to not waste your time on their time, ya know. Couldn't ask for a better experience there. I guess my ONLY complaint I could even think of was that the waiting area is cooler than I'd want, BUT in such a small building, the windows are most of the front walls and the door opening brings in cold air, but even then it's COMPLETELY tolerable to be a little less than ideal temperature wise when they're kick-a** at their jobs and so speedy. Another plus is that all the ice chunks on my car thawed in the shop so I didn't have ice all over my car anymore. This place is a TRUE win win read more

We have used them for over 10 years. They are amazing. They always tell me what might need attention next. Quality work and a great Price. We purchased snow tires seven years ago. It was the best decision ever. Great owners and employees. read more

I got a price for $1495 to repair my car! They said a part was corroded and it needed a whole new harness ordered. 5 hrs labor also. Long story short my son NOT a mechanic but handy, in his 20's inspected said part was NOT corroded and replaced a relay switch for $22 in an hour!! Feeling lied to and charged $80 to boot for the inspection! Do NOT go here!! Kovachs is honest! read more

I RECOMMEND Bob's to everyone!! We've been using them for years now. Hands down great honest to good service!

Bob's Tire provides outstanding and honest service. Highly recommend them for your vehicle repair needs and new tires.

This shop is amazing. Nate is Bob's son and runs the place. He recommends tires and repairs as if you are a blood relative. He has recommended a cheaper set of tires to me after I've done the research and come in thinking I know what I want. The cheaper tires turned out to be awesome. He has saved me money by straightening wheels for free. I work for a auto manufacturer. I'm an automotive engineer who also has been involved with cars for 50 years. Many of the engineers and mechanics I work with go to Bob's. This shop is the real deal. read more

Best price on well priced tires for my beater car. Beat online stores. Also gave me options to lower my repair costs with several options.

Amazing experience! Went in with no idea what was even wrong with my car. Professional, great service. It is rare to find a gem like this in auto maintenance. The prices are fair and honest. The best place in Brighton to get small repairs, tires or batteries. Call these guys first and see it they can help with your car problem. read more

Superior service and prices. As a teenager, it can be hard to get good service anywhere but these gentleman treated me like I was an adult. Also, the prices were half of any of he places in my area. These guys deserve the business. I'll be back if I ever need anything. read more

I am a girl, I hate taking my car into the mechanic or even to get my oil changed for that matter. The guys who work at other places are always trying to tell me my car is on its last leg and I need some major repair. These guys are honest about what work your car actually needs and their prices are really fair. I have been really happy with all the work they have done for me. And they are always very prompt. read more

In the process of moving from VA to MI, I had to consider giving up my super, trusted auto repair shop in VA. I took my car into Bob's for an oil change and to have the thermostat changed because the temp gauge wasn't registering the car warming up. I was hoping for that trusted auto repair relationship to develop. They did the work and then provided me with an estimate over $900 to replace the water pump and oil pressure sensor. Keep in mind, I had a stuck gauge, not a leak! I declined the work and decided to drive the car, keeping an eye on leakage. Sure enough, I had a leak now! I didn't feel quite comfortable giving this business to Bob's so I nursed the car with coolant and drove it back to VA (no problems) where I took it to my old shop. For $257.00 I got an oil change, tire rotation, oil pressure sensor and a FAULTY THERMOSTAT GASKET replaced and some stop leak added to the cooling system. Sorry Bob's, no second chances. read more

I trust Bob's guys to do the right thing and do it right. They've taken care of my cars many times and never a problem.

I have been going to Bob's for years because I like to give my business to local small businesses. It was a great place to be when the old man was there. I will NOT go back again. They no longer stand by their work and overlook the important details they used to. Now I'm going have to buy my tires from Bell or Discount Tires because at Bob's Auto Tire you will get ripped off. read more

Who can find an Honest mechanic? I did. At Bob's Tire. I have been going there for years and have never been disappointed or felt like I was getting swindled. They go 'above and beyond' to explain things, answer questions, and never charge you for anything extra. Thank you to Nate and Kurt! read more

I've been going to Bob's since I was sixteen and now I am 42. It is obvious they probably have honesty and integrity somewhere in their mission statement. Most of the mechanics there have been there for decades and I think low employee turnover speaks volumes about the integrity of the business. Great place to drop your car off worry free without worrying about being taken for a ride. read more

While the place is a little bit hard to get to, it's worth the trip. The service was way above and beyond. I needed tires for my trailer and they even adjusted my hitch height when most places would just sell you whatever it is they sell and send you on your way. The guys at Bob's Tire where awesome, a great legacy to the founder. read more
