We took our 2016 Nissan in when the AC pulley started screaming metal-0n-metal. After 3 trips back to the shop to stop the leaking, it was declared FIXED. Well that was like the second week of November so we did not get to run the AC--though it seemed cold for November. The real problem started come December a we had NO heat, the fan was blowing full speed, but we had ZERO air flow from the vents. Fast forward to today (85 degrees) and we try the AC. The air is flowing and it feels cold, for about 10 minutes and now it is blowing WARM air--probably around 70 degrees(?) We went to this shop after an even worse experience at some hack shop on Victory in Howell off grand River. It seems the Nissan was too much for Hi-way Tires and Service? When your AC needs service, do it in the summer and find a garage that has great technicians.

During these interactions, I assured them that there were other problems with the vehicle. I.e: a rip in the passenger CV shaft boot (inner), locked rear caliper (piston) and other suspension problems. All I needed was to align the tow due to inner and outer tie rods being replaced, so that I could continue working on the car. five hours later I received a phone call that they could not work on my car due to the rear caliper making the rear tire hard to rotate. (has absolutely nothing to due with front end tow). Once I arrived to pick up, my car was charged a diagnostic fee. This diagnostic fee said exactly what I said on a recorded line, as well as what was on the receipt. They charged me for problems expressed that had nothing to do with the service that was requested on the vehicle. I told them (before even bring the vehicle in) what was wrong with the car. No alignment was done.. if I had the magnetic tools or even a laser to do it, I could've done it myself, but instead, I needed to get it done before I continued working on the car. They failed to provide that service (they promised) and still charged me me for literally nothing. They providing zero service. I'm all about local shops, but this isn't one you should pay your hard earned money too.
