I went there on 11/23/20 I was very upset how they charged me I told them to do a compression test and to flush out brake fluid and a oil change they said they couldn't loosen bleeder screws all but one when I came home I loosened all which were not hard to loosen the screws and did it myself they charged me $233.41 total rip off lying people read more

I have been coming to Roy's for 20 years. Loved them. Spent thousands if dollars. Today, a simple oil change request. Have a wedding to get to. Told them. Told me oh no problem we close at noon anyway. No courtesy shuttle on Saturdays, so I rode my bike 4 miles to get truck by noon. Get here at 11:45 and am told they haven't started yet and we almost never finish by noon. I don't know if I will come back. Not the same place anymore. read more

Went in for the first time today. Guy's were friendly, professional and the office seemed to run very smoothly. After my vehicle service, I received an email with a detailed inspection including informational videos on the parts inspected and actual pictures of my truck when there were issues. It's a great report. It's nice to actually see the parts or issue the shop is recommending to be fixed. Prices are very competitive as well. Highly recommend Roy's Autoworks. read more

i got my engine replaced less than 6 months ago i'm a 64 year old man i barley even drive it but i took it on a 2 hour drive up north and it died and i had to leave it there and now i have to get it rebuilt AGAIN and roy's will do nothing to help me. i was told i had a warranty for a year if anythung were to happen they would fix it but they refuse!!! read more

Had a front & rear end alignment done. They said the rear needed new bolts at about $45.00 I thought this was high and strange that bolts would go bad, but paid it anyhow. Rear alignment was not done properly and ruined both rear tires that cost me $250.00 to replace then I had to pay to get the alignment done again (correctly) at Harolds frame shop which is much further away but is a shop that I know does alignments well...and they said the rear alignment was way off. No problems since alignment was done properly. Would not recommend Roy's. read more

I took my Subaru in to Roys from a referral from a friend and can certainly see why he would refer me here. I dealt with Mike who was beyond friendly, helpful and courteous in helping me with my car. He explained everything efficiently to me so I had a full understanding of the parts and labor I would be paying for. They also offer a shuttle service so you don't have to sit and wait if you don't want to. But if you do have to wait, this shop is very clean and accommodating. Roy's damaged my friend's car because Roy's forgot to put the oil cap back on. Oil is all over the engine and inside the engine bay. The engine ran without enough oil causing damage to the engine. How can an auto repair shop not put the oil cap back on? Do they not have established proper procedures? This isn't even a mechanics 101 procedure taught at the local college, it's a procedure taught by everyone's parent. Inexcusable, unprofessional, and incompetent. I went here to get my jeep looked at about a year ago. The first problem was fixed but it took just over a week of being there and they then made a huge list of other things that was "needed" to be fixed including my tires which my dad was buying me at the end of the summer. the next day my car broke down on the highway, over heated and almost blew my head gasket. I got it towed back there immediately and they had an estimate of over $1000 which was outrageous. They then lowered my jeep down from the hoist and split my tire open. They replaced my tire but my dad then had to buy 3 other ones because it's not ideal to drive with one new and 3 old. I would not recommend this place cause it caused us triple the issues then what it went in for. read more

Another follow up to my previous reviews on a simple water pump job that was horribly botched. We use the car most of recreational use and have put about 6,000 on it in two years since the bad repair by Roy's. Last week the engine began spewing coolant. Upon further inspection it turned out to be the thermostat housing which Roy's replaced... but, again, badly. I pulled off the housing to find no cracks but the housing had little to no tension in the screws on both the housing and coolant hose going to the housing. How can anyone be certified and make all of these rookie mistakes? Furthermore, I was going to pull the thermostat out look at it but Roy's used gasket sealer and sealed in the thermostat to the water pump which should just slide out. Again, this is another botched effort because the thermostat has an o-ring and gasket sealer is not suppose to be used. It is now completely stuck inside the water pump. I will have to damage the thermostat and water pump to get it out. This whole water pump replacement has been beyond incompetent. It is malpractice. Charged $800 for a waterpump job that was already taken apart when they got it, improperly put gasket material on both the water pump and the thermostat, didn't properly tighten the screws, somehow an OEM part wouldn't fit and put a cheap aftermarket part was put on, within 6,000 miles it started leaking, they had the car for 10 days for a one or two day job, they didn't properly tension the serpentine belt, and we told the cost would be resonable and never offered an apology for taking ten days and charged $800 for a $350 job at most and for such a low level of quality and service. Roy's should be embarrassed for itself. Again, how is this place and "mechanic" licensed? read more
