Replaced flat tire. Asked for the original tire back. 4 days later new tire placed on car and original tire is missing.

I called Brighton Bell Tire after being denied service for my flat tire at another local chain. I spoke with Dan at Bell Tire this afternoon and he assured me we would be taken care of promptly- we were pressed for time and when arriving they quickly addressed the problem and took care of it- not even taking a half hour! Avoid at your expense. Received a call to perform a repair. Dillon asked for permission to perform work over the phone for, upon pickup they did a different repair. This did not solve problem. Dillon and tech Joe then told (not asked) me the tires they installed are wearing uneven because I didn't rotate the tires. I informed them I have receipts of rotation every 14k miles. Then changed reasoning to a mechanical problem caused wear. I've had two alignment checks during the 30k miles on tires and zero correction needed, never an alignment issue. Brake job received from this belle tire was bad on top of all this because tech didn't clean pad-pins causing uneven contact. Dealer informed me about this after brake noise and belle tire claimed there's no problem. Refusing to do the brakes I'm stuck paying full price for 4 month old brakes and rotors. After several thousand dollars spent on this one vehicle at Belle tire all the work needs redone and nothing but attitude and dismissal by Belle Tire. Go elsewhere for your auto needs. read more

I bought 4 tires from Belle Tire several months ago. One front tire was leaking when I drove it out. I have one car and live alone, so I cannot be without my car. They couldn't fit it in in a timely manner. And the leak was in the valve that they installed! Now I have another tire leaking, and they would not make time to take the tire off and put on the spare. Again, difficulty with getting service. After the 2nd experience with my new tires, I will not be returning. VERY poor service. read more

Went to get my oil changed. They told me my brakes needed done. I had just gotten them done about a year ago but I trusted what they said about them needing replaced. After I paid for new brakes every time I touched the brake even a little my car started squeaking. I let the manager know and he told me to come in to get them looked at. They sprayed them with something and sent me on my way. My brakes were still squeaking so I went back in again. I was told that brakes were probably just a bad pair. They replaced my brakes once again. Now after going back 3 times my brakes still squeak. I have never had this issue with my car before they touched it. I would highly recommend going to a different place to get your car serviced. read more

Alright, giving a good review to an auto repair and/or tire shop is not always easy to do. I've lived in the Brighton and Ann Arbor area for years and I have struggled to find somewhere that I actually like to take my car to get fixed. Two years ago I grabbed a set of tires and I felt like I got a good deal. So, when a few issues arose with the car I decided I'd bring it here and see what they could do. I needed the ball joint for my drivers side front tire replaced. They charged less than I expected, so I was happy to drop of the car. They said it would be a 2 hours and I'd be all sets. After three hours I was getting annoyed and asked the front desk what the hold up was. My car was in line I get aligned, but it was Black Friday and they were very busy. The whole thing ended up taking just under four hours, so I was happy the work was finished and the service tech knew I had been waiting a long time, so they gave me a 10% discount. I was planning to give a 3 star review, the service was good and price was fair but I was disappointed about the timing. However, when they gave me the discount i thought it was with worth a higher review. They didn't need to give me a discount, they did good work and the staff was friendly and helpful. My left rear tire kept getting low air so I came here and they found a screw in my tire. They took out the screw and fixed my tire all for no charge. They said it was gonna be an hour to fix and it was finished in 35 min. Great costumer service, everyone wearing masks, fast time! Thank you Dan and Justin for the help. Horrible service. Walked in and there were 4 employees standing around but nobody even acknowledged me. Don't allow you to make appointments so you have to sit around and wait for 3 hours until they get to you. A mechanic that doesn't know how long a brake job takes? Haven't they done them before? Dropped my car off at 8am for new tires. Was told they would be done by the end of the day on a Friday, 6pm. I was never contacted that it was completed so I showed up at 550pm to make sure they were not closed when I went to pick up my car. When I showed up they said they had not gotten to the tires yet. No need to keep my car for 10 hours if it is going to sit in your parking lot. They could have told me to drop it off at 530 and they would have it done after closing. Unauthorized repairs I came in to get tires changed and an oil change. I did not answer when called about their need to do an alignment on my car so they took it upon themselves to just do it. Then I come to pick my car up with an extra 86 dollars on the tab I was not ok with because I did not ok this. I need to decide when my maintenance on my vehicle will be done or at least provide the data of the test that was done which was also never provided. I feel cheated and will never come here again and is sad because I have been coming here since I moved here and I talked to my extended family who all come here who will also no longer frequent this location that's 6 vehicles they lost service too. You do not do services without authorization that is bad business and not ok. I will also file a grievance with the automotive repair bueuro and the BBB. I shared my displeasure with management there got an apology. but he was also the one who authorized the work. You did not lose one customer but many because I will share my experience. I am SHOCKED! Belle Tire has such a good reputation. This store can't be representative, because the so-called customer service is completely lacking here. We had checked to see if this store carried the tires we were looking for. There was a "special" which ran through the end of the week and we wanted to make sure that they sold the tires before we made the trip to get them. We were assured that they did, indeed, stock the tires we were looking for (incidentally, top of the line and quite expensive). When we got to the store a day or two later, a very rude employee said they weren't in stock and MAYBE they'd come in next week (AFTER the sale was over). There was no offer of a rain-check and the whole attitude was that we were taking up this employee's valuable time. We had planned to spend in the neighborhood of $800, but this guy couldn't be bothered. We're going to buy these tires, but it won't be from Belle Tire. We absolutely will NOT go back. read more

Made an appointment online, arrived at 9:00am. Told it would be an hour and a half. Walked to downtown Brighton to eat breakfast. Arrived back at Belle Tire at around 10:30. Still sitting waiting for my tires to be put on my vehicle. Only two tires at that and it's 10:46am. Waiting waiting.... wondering why I made an appointment?!? Plus gave me a list of things that need work, ok I bet I do need struts and brakes, but for $1144.86. Seems like a lot to me. Going to call my mechanic friend and see how far off they quoted me. Still waiting...... I feel they take women for granted and make them wait and over charge us. Almost two hours to put two tires are my car, ugh!!! Won't be back! 11:04 out the door, only saving grace is $30 off coupon and tires cheaper cause I put wrong size in on computer. read more

Amazing service, friendly ,competent mechanics and honest! I've had everything from maintenance to tires to brakes worked on. Danny the mechanic is highly skilled, helpful and Eric the manager won't sell you what you don't need . The last experience I had my tire was low 12 PSI Danny told me to drive up the the third window He put air in a bit more to hold me over as I had appointments on the West side and could not wait for a diagnoses. I had 2 tires with issues (nail in one, rim issue with other). Tires were purchased there. Was told it would take 1 1/2 hr to finish. They lied, only took an hour or less. Will have to replace my tires in the next couple months and this is the store I will return to. Professional and pleasant, store was clean, COVID-19 separations in place. Everyone had masks worn properly. No charge for repairs, just "here's your keys, have a great day". I will be back. read more

Terrible. I dropped my car off at 1130am to get a 'quick' inpection/lookover done. I came back after 1pm and they were like..hey, we can get your car in now. W T H?? Glad you could get it in when I showed up to get it. Luckily it didn't take too much longer and I had time to still wait. So much for trying to save some time. Inconvenient. Additionally, they said I needed front and rear brakes..of course I needed stuff...then went to my reputable car shop and he said I only need front brakes. Watch out for these guys! read more

Beware when they tell you that they can put tires on at a certain day and time. It's only if other customers do not show up before you. FYI this is a first come, first serve company. I had an almost flat tire when I left work. They got me in a half hour before they closed. They were very kind and helpful.

These guys are very honest and reliable!! I was told by the dealer that my 2012 Toyota Sequoia needed brakes on all 4 wheels to the tune of $900. I left the dealer and headed for Belle Tire in Brighton MI and Dan the manager showed me that in actuality I was fine!! My back breaks were .6MM and my front were .4MM which showed that I could wait. I told him to replace just the front pads for now and he only charged me 169. for the work!!! THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!!!! Thanks again Dan!!!! read more

I went to Belle Tire for an oil change and needed new wipers & a brake light replaced- Nick helped me and was awesome! As someone who HATES going to auto shops because of the fear of manipulation and intimidation by not knowing anything about cars, Nick was extremely pleasant and honest, and didn't make me feel like I was being taken by unnecessary services. Thank you, Nick! The only heads up is that it did take about an hour, which wasn't a problem as the Border Cantina is right next door and has great happy hour specials, but could be annoying if you were in more of a hurry. read more

I dropped my vehicle of for a simple tire pressure sensor replacement. When I picked my vehicle up after hours the steering wheel was covered with dirt and grease. A few days after this happened I was contacted via email for a customer survey. I expressed my unhappiness with the condition my vehicle was left in. A day or so later I received what was clearly a scripted email from the store manager asking that in the future I contact him with my concerns and that my issue would be addressed as a training topic. I replied and suggested that if maybe the guy who left his dirt on my steering wheel could just email me with an apology I would be happy. The manager replied with another scripted email. I will no longer do business with you and will highly recommend that others avoid your store. read more

I came in at 10:45am this morning as a walk-in. I asked how long it would take to get four new tires put on my car. They didn't give me a straight answer. I suggested I could make an appointment and come back later, but I was told they would just put me in the cue and it shouldn't be too long. At 1:30pm when my car hadn't moved, I started wondering exactly how long 'not too long' was so I went and asked how much longer it would be. They told me I was in the next group of cars to be brought into the garage, so I waited. After another hour, they went and got my car and brought it into the garage. "Holy cow, something is happening finally!" I think to myself... I continue to wait oh so patiently and another hour goes by. It is now 3:30. For the record, I have been waiting in the lobby for nearly five hours at this point. "Hallelujah!" I think to myself, "they are finally done with my car" but no, unfortunately the guy is just coming to tell me that they aren't going to charge me for an alignment if one is required and the tires are on the car and it shouldn't be much longer. Long story long, it took another hour before I left in my car. I spent 6 hours sitting in the lobby at Belle Tire today! Imagine people, what sitting 6 hours in the lobby of a auto repair shop feels like!! My assumption is that they didn't want me to leave because there was a chance I wouldn't come back and they really wanted to sell me those four tires. That is the only reason I can think of that these people wouldn't just let me schedule an appointment. That, or they are really bad at estimating how long it takes them to do stuff to cars. While I waited, at least two other walk-in customers brought their cars in, had the Belle Tire people work on them, and got their cars back and left. That made me feel really great. Here is the bottom line: can this place put new tires on your car? Yeah, they can. Can they do it quickly? Not from my experience. Do they at least have good communication? No, the communication is terrible, as it the customer service. Never again Belle Tire, never again... Let this long review exhaust you to the point of not going here. It will save you real hours of exhausting waiting in their lobby. read more
