Love, Love, Love the seafood at Bob's. It is always fresh, hot and tasty. This was one of the first seafood restaurants we stopped at since moving to Maine. And it is our weekly go to place. My husband loves the Maine shrimp dinner and the haddock portions are huge. The fresh cut fries are a real bonus. read more

You will note, This site RARELY updates it's comments! Bob's is just as bad as it has been since my last review! What a blatant insult to REAL Mainers! read more

Great service and excellent food! Came in on Mother's Day and was told about a little longer wait before we even ordered our food. Had the lobster roll and opted for no fries because we were fine with salad instead, so our rolls came out within about 10 minutes of ordering them! Very yummy, a lot of meat on the roll read more

My second visit to Bob's was so much nicer than the first. This time I stopped to buy some fish as advertised on a sign by the road. The help was leaning on a mop, talking with a friend.I glanced at the clock. He complained bitterly that he had nothing to do all day. They talked for five more minutes about pickup trucks, girls,sports... When I asked for the advertised fish,he said they were sold out and he's been so busy that he HASN'T HAD A CHANCE TO GO BRING IN THE SIGN BACK IN YET. read more

Great Lobster roll and great haddock sandwich! You can also order uncooked seafood to go. Such a large menu. We'll definitely be back.

Baked stuffed haddock was great. Its included baked potato needed ten more minutes and seemed more boiled than baked. Lobster roll was very good. Seafood chowder was tasty but mostly potatoes. Calamari not bad but probably wouldn't order again. Kids chicken fingers only came with two and a bunch of fries. Fries were a bit soft but good. Overall not bad with a nice outdoor seating area and friendly staff. read more

Just by chance we stopped at Bobs for dinner. What a surprise. Parking lot was filled with local vehicles, always a good sign. Ordered lobster rolls, whole lobsters all was fantastic. Looks like a fish market, which it is but a lot of no too pretty places in Maine has great food. Friendly service and seem to appreciate a van load of southerners stopping by to enjoy the Maine lobster experience. read more

We are very excited to visit the newly-renovated Bob's, a favorite seafood stop for us. It has a wonderfully-expanded menu, including appetizers, salads and desserts. The fish offerings remain foremost and delicious! We had lunch on the "old" (but tastefully renovated) side; next time the tap room. Congratulations!!! read more

Great lobster dinner. Loved that the lobster was piping hot so that by the time I was ending with the small legs they were still warm. Owners were super friendly. Will come back! read more

This is the best seafood I have ever had. The scallops were delicious and so were the shrimp. The service is great. I really enjoy it when ever we go. read more

We ate there on St. Patricks day it was our first time there and I must say we loved it! it was pretty busy but got a seat right away, they were prompt and friendly. We ordered a fried haddock dinner and a fried clam plate and it was delish! The prices were reasonable also, we will be going back for more. read more

Great food at great prices!! Just what you need for an early evening dinner. Don't forget to BYOB!!!

My absolute favorite for seafood. I ask to be taken here for every birthday, mother's day, etc. I regularly eat here as I get my hair done next door every 6 weeks. It's worth the drive from Biddeford. They have a senior citizen clam dinner for only $7 and it is the perfect amount of food. The french fries are hand cut and are excellent. Apparently they are closed for renovation right now, which I wish I had known before I drove there from Gray just to go there. read more

First time eating here. It was good for seafood and the people I was with loved it! I, on the other hand, am not a huge fan of seafood, but it was still made great. Would recommend to anyone looking for fresh food read more

Great spot to stop for fresh lobster ! Friendly, informative staff with ample parking made it easy to grab a few lobsters to cook back at the house! Worth the trip ! read more

The food here is GREAT and you cannot beat hanging out on one of the decks and having a brew (BYOB) while you wait for food to come up or while enjoying the eats. Highly recommend read more

I stopped in Bobs seafood the other day. Ordered the 3 way combo--fish ,clams, scallops.Cost me over $33 with soda. Seafood was very good but portions were small for the price. read more

Didn't find it as great as it is made out to be a bit pricey but you have to expect that had fried clam basket nothing to brag about and the lobster roll was a bit skimpy on the lobster read more

We brought dogs on vacation with us and couldn't dine in restaurants, but still wanted some awesome Maine seafood. This place rocks great fresh food and packed picnic style to go for people like us. Thank you! read more

Came here with my family and I ordered the lobster steamer dinner. Had a 1-1/4 lb steamed lobster with corn on the cob and steamed clams. It was very good and I enjoyed sitting outside. Everything is fresh. Will come here again next time I am in Sebago. read more

We love stopping here for steamers on way up and home. Always great and appreciate pet friendly outdoor dining!

The haddock here was dynamite. We got about 6 lbs. and cooked it at home. Super-fresh and only $6/lb. Friendly staff. Great prices and selection. read more

Food is great! And the one burger in our $160.00 order had a nice layer of pink! Everyone loved the Haddock nuggets and Lobster stew

Very good! Had the lobster dinner -!came with steamed clams - perfectly cooked. They also cook lobster to order for take out. Nice people - BYOB. I will come back! read more

Excellent food at a good value. I've been going to Bobs for about as long as they've been around and I've never been disappointed. Nice family run business and real good hearted people running the place. Eat there and enjoy!! read more

Food was fine, but the service was unacceptable. My dad ordered at the counter for the four of us and grabbed a seat just as we for many years when visiting Bob's. About 20 minutes later a server came by and said they were now a full service restaurant. My dad said he didn't know and she said something like - we'll figure it out. A few minutes later other waitstaff came over one at a time to stick their nose into the situation. The worst was when the young woman who took the order at the counter came over and rudely said, "You're eating here?! I wish I'd known that!" Forty-five minutes later she tossed our food onto the table and loudly proclaimed, "Here's your take-out!" (They actually served the food in takeout containers while everyone around us had their food served on regular plates. It was a little humiliating.) This whole situation could have been avoided if the cashier who took the original order had simply asked if the order was to be eaten there or for take out. There is no sign indicating the new system for this restaurant - how could we possibly know the new procedure? This was an epic fail. I will not be going back. I think all involved were simply concerned about getting a tip and could have cared less about our experience. A woman at a table near us actually spoke up to a server for us. She said, "I've been sitting here watching the interactions you all have had with that family (meaning us). You've been rude - you could have served their meals on regular plates and treated them kindly. A simple mistake was made and you could have fixed it easily." read more

Yesterday was my grandfathers birthday and he wanted seafood. He chose to try out Bobs. (His name is Bob so he thought it sounded good!) Since he recently had surgery and is unable to leave the house, we had to op for take out instead. My mom called to place the order around 5. We had a total of 9 dinners. We realized it was a large order and it was around dinner time so we said we could wait until 6:30 to pick it up. The girl took the order and said okay, see you at 6:30. A few minutes later, a different girl called my mom and said "unfortunately we're not able to do large take out orders between 5-6:30. The girl that took your order is new and did not know that. However we will do it as a courtesy this one time." A few minutes after that, ANOTHER girl called my mom and said that they won't be able to do the order at all, unless we wanted to wait till 7:30. Yeah.. no thanks. He's an 85 year old diabetic and can not wait until 7:30 to eat dinner. So needless to say we did not end up getting anything. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service. If you're not going to offer take out during dinner time, don't offer it at all. read more

Overall, a great local seafood place. Now that the Weathervane and Newicks are both gone in the Portland area, this is about the best around. I know the owner works a ton to get the best and freshest seafood he can, and the prices are fair. No real complaints, but there's always room for improvement, isn't there??? Scallops and large shrimp along with the homemade fries are all awesome. Give it a try - if you like fresh seafood, it is a must. read more

The seafood here is very good. The atmosphere is casual. Prices are on the high side (especially for Maine standards). This would be a 5 star place if the service was good. Unfortunately it's not. No one bothers to clean the tables and the food is slow. What bothers me the most though is they give you NO lobster crackers, NO bib & NO wet naps when you spend $40 on a lobster dinner. Instead they keep them behind the counter and doll them out upon special request. I had high hopes this would be my go-to for lobster but it looks likes that won't be the case. read more

Everything was as expected for a seafood joint. Clam chowder was great, Clams were huge, but the burger my daughter got was a bit chewy. Another plus is that they allow dogs on their patio. read more

Best in the area. Great lobster, friendly service, reasonable prices. Eat in or have them pack some crustaceans to take home--whether home is down the road or across the country. read more

We received a surprise gift of lobster meat from my sister! The one thing I miss from Maine is it's great Maine Lobster! The lobster meat arrived fresh, tasted sweet, and there was enough for several meals! The first thing I made was what I call a Loaded Lobster Stew. And just as it sounds, it was loaded with sweet, fresh Maine Lobster! We also made lobster rolls and still have enough left for another feast or two. The next time we are longing for the great taste of Maine Lobster or other seafood, you can be sure we'll contact Bob's Seafood. (We don't find fresh seafood in the Arizona desert!) read more

I've been going here with my family for over ten years and we've never had a bad meal. Kid's plates are good, and the hand cut fries are excellent. The fried haddock and cole slaw are the best, and my SO says the lobster and steamers are perfect. Service is fast, and they usually check on you mid-meal. Prices are a little high for the area, but it's worth it for a great meal. read more

Seafood was fresh steamers were the sat I had this summer. Hand cut fries. What more could you ask for!

This is my kids favorite restaurant. The portions are generous and prices reasonable. The lobster roll is overflowing with lobster meat. My daughter loves the fish chowder. We try to go here at least once a month. When the weather is nice we sit outside. read more

My husband and I enjoy the great food at Bob's!! We especially like the buy one/ get one 1/2 off Haddock dinners!! There is so much food, we probably should share one dinner!! The fish is always light and flakey, the fries always good (you have to try the Sweet Potato fries!), and the price can't be beat! We also pick up fresh fish/clams/stuffed mushrooms/stuffed clams when we go. This place is worth the trip! read more
