The lobsters are usually cooked perfectly, but one time, on my birthday, I got a bad lobster. It was completely rotten and smelled bad when cracked open. Since then we have been trying other places in the area for our lobsters.

My friend immediately contacted the company and provided a video clearly showing the dead lobster. Rather than apologizing or trying to make the situation right, Lobster Boys denied the claim because the video did not show the entire unsealing and opening of the package. As a gift recipient, my friend had no way of knowing they were required to record the entire unboxing process. The evidence clearly showed a dead lobster, yet the company refused to provide either a refund or a replacement. I then called customer service myself and found the representative to be rude, unsympathetic, and unwilling to stand behind their product. Shipping live seafood is challenging, and problems can happen. What matters is how a company responds when something goes wrong. In this case, there was no apology, no effort to resolve the issue, and no concern for customer satisfaction. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Lobster Boys and would encourage others to consider alternative providers that stand behind their products and treat customers with respect.

My husband polished his right off me I made a Apple coleslaw and lemon wedged potatoes so I had a little bit of each. I ate part of my lobster the rest of it ID shelled cut it up and put it in container and I'm gonna save it for tomorrow and make myself a lobster roll. May I say it was very very delicious. You can taste the fresh ocean water a lot of times if you try to get a Maine lobster here in Florida. They throw them in the tanks with the warm water lobsters and the taste is totally different when the warm salt water down here flushes through their system compared to up north we enjoy them. We say many thanks to the lobster boys, they were the best they were delicious and now you have a customer for life thank you thank you.
