He wasn't kidding when he said we had to start permitting process in summer 2025 to open in time for Memorial Day weekend 2026 either - getting construction permit processed was the biggest wait. Now we opened just in time for summer - and she's a beauty! Pool Boss team coordinated the whole project from start to finish - the designer Michael helped us get the plans and measurements exactly right, even taking into consideration our future addition plans for the property. Tina filed and coordinated a million permit forms for us. Matt & Dan were very patient helping us figure out the on-sight restrictions. The construction itself was very quick and fun to watch (the digging was done with surgical precision!). Special thank you to Joanna for very clear communication throughout! The scheduling and ongoing notifications to keep us apprised of the progress were very helpful! We went with PB's recommended contractors - JBJ for electric (super professional - and again, helped us run everything with future construction projects in mind), and United Stamped Concrete for landscaping (Felipe's team did a phenomenal job with out stamped concrete patio and grading, great attention to detail). The orientation with Eduardo was super clear - we've never operated a pool and he patiently explained every single detail about the equipment and maintenance. The equipment can be controlled from an app too - very convenient and we are looking forward to Tyler making it even smarter. :) Thank you so much! Not terrible, and the pool looked good all season- no major outbreaks. They forgot to empty both skimmers a few times, which is always frustrating. I will say, then the pump broke they identified the problems and replaced it 1-2-3. No issues after that. My big problem was opening was over $600, and closing was almost $500. They didn't tie the cover to the side like they should have, so I had no call and wait for them to come out again to fix that. I won't use them again this year- still looking.

I hired these guys to do my pool cleanings this year after my mom and pop ghosted me. The…read morecleanings were $50 more than I was paying, and they had a bad habit of not emptying my skimmer baskets. Other than that, the cleanings went well. They missed a few appointments, and it felt like I never knew when they were going to show up. They recommended a lot more chemicals than we had been using the last few years, but given how we always seem to have at least 1 algae bloom a year, maybe that was a good thing. I trusted them and paid for extra chems. When anything broke, these guys offered to fix it, but the prices seemed high. I was happy with the job they did on the fixes. But, they left equipment at my property and left a gate open that my dog could have escaped through. Didn't love that. Also, as soon as I hired them, they charged almost $1000 to my credit card for nothing. I called them to get them to take care of it, but it all went on the card and had to be disputed. To their credit, they didn't argue to keep the charges, but it was annoying I had to be the one to deal with it all. My break point was with the closing. We have a waterfall and the cover was not sitting tight to the wall, letting in plant matter. I pointed it out and they said they could get a wire and fix it, but it would cost about $200. I agreed, and they ended up charging me $300, for a wire they left long and looking like a mess. It also brought the price of the close to nearly $800, which was double what I paid last year. I'm looking for someone else next year.
