The fire department needed to gain entry to my apt and really messed up the door, it looked awful…read moreand I thought that it needed to be replaced! Also, the Fireman caused the latch on the 2nd door to be bent and made the door unusable. A new door which would have been $5000, at least because it is a special, metal apt door and many places would have had to special order a door which could be 2 weeks - a month or more. David came to repair a remaining lock on the badly damaged door and told me that he could repair it! He came back and put on some really pretty, shiny brass plates, and added a deadbolt. He fixed the 2nd door with the bent latch AND made me extra keys for an unbelievably low price! It should have been more than double! So, he saved me $5000, then did an incredible job fixing the old battered door, making it look great... He's also such a sweet guy and came exactly on time!! I would not hesitate to give him the highest praise possible! I've used other Locksmiths but no one can compare!
