First, the owner was able to create a key for a shed lock that I never had the key to. The lock was from a home depot shed, but home depot was unable to sell me a new lock without buying an entire new shed around it. After wasting much time with Home Depot, Codman Lock expertly took care of the problem, and I now have a locking shed. I also bought a new knob/lock for my basement door. The owner was very knowledgeable about everything in the store, and encouraged me to buy the cheapest lock he had based on the needs I described to him. Being downsold gets you points in my book for honesty and integrity. I have another lock that I don't have the key to and I am planning to take it to Codman Lock as well.

We just bought a house where the locks were really wonky and we had to carry around 4 different keys and try them on each lock because they weren't all the same. Some of the locks even had key locks on the interior of the doors--def not safe in case of emergency. Guess what? One key now, no wonky looks and in no time at all.
