Finally it was time to do something. I was sitting at a car dealership waiting for my car to be serviced and I had Yelp find me a locksmith. Within a just a few minutes I had responses from two locksmiths. Star Locksmiths, Bulent, was reasonably priced and at my home the next morning. The install was quick and he rekeyed the lock to match our existing keys. I get life comes up, but lack of professionalism and courtesy is unacceptable. Being left unread and ignored for days when I was asking to have a service they provide done is just wrong. Luis was prompt and super fast, but the rest of the experience with this company was unprofessional and lacking basic human courtesy. To update my review, they had Luis messaging me to remove my review because he was worried they would fire him for a bad review, even though I specifically mentioned him being the only good part of this experience. I told him that I was going to leave my review as it wasn't against him; it was against the company for their poor handling of my situation and their lack of professionalism. I said if they would like to call me to talk to me about it, that would be completely fine. Well, they did, and the man I originally spoke with kept telling me I should remove my review because, "things happen" and I should understand. When I told him that Luis was the only good part of the interaction and that my review would remain up, he became aggressive and said, "I hope you get what is coming to you." I have never in my life had a company be so unprofessional and not only not try to fix the issue but bully me into removing my review, then take it out on the employee who actually did their job correctly. Luis had messaged me to tell me that they laid him off from the company due to bad performance. 1- That is absolutely ridiculous as he was the ONLY good part of this entire situation. 2- It is absolutely absurd to have an employee messaging a customer to have reviews taken down or changed. Have a better business practice, and you won't receive bad reviews. They should be absolutely ashamed of themselves to retaliate against a good employee for their poor business practices and unprofessionalism.

I had Ace come to my home a couple of months ago to re-key two doorknobs. After they left, one of…read morethe doorknobs would catch occasionally and not open even though it wasn't locked. I lived with it for a while as it would open after jiggling it a little. Recently, it got worse, so I called Ace to come and look at it. When the tech got here, he said they "don't fix that" but he could replace it the doorknob. He was here for maybe a half hour total and installed a new $40 doorknob. I was charged $307 dollars. Apparently, I was charged $90 just for the guy to drive here and $175/hr (one our minimum). I found this to be absolutely outrageous, especially given the fact that I didn't have a problem until Ace re-keyed my locks. I will never use them again and I strongly suggest that you don't either. It's no wonder people can't afford to live when business screw people like this. Disgusting.
