I was in town for a conference and really just needed a pick me up. I read that they have fresh brewed tea so I stopped in to grab a plain jasmine tea. There was no one inside, but it is well decorated and very vibrant. The worker greeted me and since I knew what I wanted. I went straight for the order. He quickly came out with my drink since it was just plain jasmine tea. The jasmine was flavorful and floral. It did taste like it was brewed for slightly too long, but nothing that was bitter. I appreciate the quickness in the service and if I'm ever back in Midtown would definitely come here.
I came here on a weekday afternoon and appreciate the aesthetics of this boba shop, including the flower wall and the swing beside it. However, the Mung Bean Pandan latte that I ordered was slightly underwhelming. The flavors sounded interesting, but the drink was not as flavorful as I hoped for. Even with less sweetness, the drink was a bit too sweet, and the drink felt pre-made rather than freshly crafted. This place didn't live up to my expectations the first time, but I'd love to try another drink in the future.

It's a cute spot with a background to take pix for social media. Tho I have no idea why I was charged 10.25% in sales tax? I looked it up and Sac's tax isn't that much. Bober is definitely a staple for boba in sac! They are always super consistent with the taste and quality. The wintermelon milk tea is my absolute favorite from here, and sometimes I like to add their boba in it. Their shops are always so pretty inside, and decorated in lots of flowers and pink. We ordered through door dash, and the drinks were still fresh upon arrival.
Nice spot to grab a milk tea in the Sac area. It was warm and the milk the absolutely hit the spot. Service was fast as I was the only one in the store. Street parking. Casual. Please come and create your own experience.

I called several times before coming because I had a hard time finding it but nobody picked up. I finally found it and upon coming in, the only worker at the time was taking some pictures for some customers so I guess that's why they didn't pick up the phone. Anywho, the worker that day ended up being the owner so I had a chat with him and got some recommendations. I ended up with their brown sugar milk tea. It was decent but not the best I've had. Overall the owner was nice and the place is cute and cozy. 3.5 stars but ill give it a 4 since it was the only boba place I was able to try before catching a flight back home!
Love coming in here for my boba teas!!! The staff is kind and helpful with any questions. The inside is so adorable and perfect for pictures with their flower and swing wall.
We stumbled across this boba shop while walking around Midtown. It's very aesthetic inside with a rose/flower wall and swings that you can sit on. They have a computer kiosk where you can order your drinks. I ordered the chizu strawberry green tea with boba. The boba itself was soft and chewy. The drink was a pureed strawberry green tea, not too sweet with a cheese foam that made it more creamy. The drink came out relatively quick after placing our order. Overall, a solid spot to get boba in this area.

The service is always great as the employees are always very welcoming and helpful when it comes to drink recommendations. It's mostly a to go spot so there aren't any tables or chairs inside the shop though they do have a very comfortable couch you can sit on and chill. We usually order the supreme mango green tea with rainbow jelly or crystal boba but their strawberry green tea is also really good. They also have many other options for those who like milk based drinks. Definitely check this place out to satisfy your refreshing cravings.

There is mainly street parking available but i do believe I saw a parking structure. The service was speedy. Our boba came out in under a minute. Our cashier was friendly and attended to us in an efficient manner. The vibes are great. Banger music plays and they have a nice wall to take Instagramable pictures at. Quotes line the walls. Not sure if they have a bathroom though. The prices are average. I'd say you can walk out of here for about $15 for two people making this a ($$) for me since you're just getting dessert drinks. We really liked how they had a cup that had a mystery plushie in it. The flavor is about average for what you'd expect from a boba establishment. Its not groundbreaking flavor but it's still good. I actually liked my cookies and cream drink but my wife did not. I'd say the flavors can be a hit or a miss. Bottom line/TLDR: solid boba spot.
Bober Tea never fails me. I love keeping up with all their suprise cups and delicious drinks. I love stopping at this location whenever I'm hanging out in downtown. It's small and cute for pictures too.
I frequent this location and I am always satisfied every time!! My go-to orders are Wintermelon Milk Tea, Chizu Mango Green Tea, Chizu Taro Latte, and Thai Tea Latte. They have so much delicious drinks to choose from & their service is always so kind and helpful! This location is the perfect spot for grab & go drinks, and I will always be obsessed with the pink decor. I also love that they have such creative options like their Bear Bricks, Surprise Cups, Coffees, and more.

The service was a well oiled machine and the place had an awesome photo wall and a swing for seating. There was no seating aside from the swing and no restroom inside the location so be mindful of that. Overall when I am in the area it is my go to place to grab a refreshing drink on the go
Haven't been to this location in a while since I try not to come around the area too often due to the congestion and traffic. The swings are older now and worn out. Some of the floral pieces from the wall is falling off. They have one ordering kiosk. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. drinks were made to order. I wasn't too fond of the strawberry Chizu due to the sourness in the drink , nor their ordering systems. This was not my first tim here I won't be my last. Highly recommend: Mango Chizu (this is my default Bober drink) Today, I tried the pineapple and the Mung Bean Pandan (add boba). They were all good. Came by on a weekday and it wasn't busy since they had just opened. Didn't notice the self order kiosk since it shares same wall as when you enter through the door. Only noticed it when I turned around to take a better look at the store after ordering from someone. I got the oolong milk tea half sweet with no toppings. Wasn't really a fan of it. No strong taste and really tasted like any regular milk tea to me. I wish they had grass jelly as a topping. Not my go-to boba place. Interior is cute with photo opportunity with their nicely decorated wall. More of a grab and go boba place. read more

Bober Tea is an ideal spot after meal bevies. Chizu Mango Green Tea Chizu Taro Latte Chizu Milk Tea Supreme Mango Green Tea Pretty in pink aesthetic vibes and sugar tailorable drinks. Can get homemade boba pearl made to order and flavor of teas are pretty tasty. Order from the kiosk and a nice young man delivers at the front counter. Bober Tea in Midtown is easily the best boba spot in Sacramento. The drinks are consistently amazing--our go-tos are the Okumidori Matcha Latte (smooth, earthy, and just the right amount of sweetness), the Mango Jasmine Green Tea (refreshing and floral with a fruity kick), and the Classic Milk Tea, which is always solid. The real standout here is the boba. The pearls are unlike anything else--soft, chewy, sweet, and perfectly made every time. You can tell there's real care behind how they're prepared, and it makes a huge difference. The staff is just as impressive as the drinks. Everyone is super friendly, welcoming, and just genuinely cool. The vibe is great! Bober Tea never misses. Easily a top-tier spot that sets the bar for boba in Sacramento. read more

Ever since experiencing the best milk tea of my life at the Bober location in Folsom, I had been dying to try the midtown location. So, yesterday, I met up here with a friend. Like most boba tea shops, Bober Tea is extremely Instagrammable. So, once we received our orders, the first thing we did was take lots of pictures. The cashier was even nice enough to take some for each of us on our phones. The photos came out great, but the milk tea was just okay. I had ordered the Signature Milk Tea, which was the same drink I loved so much at the Folsom location. Here is the description from the menu: "We generously coat the cup with house-made brown sugar syrup, spoon in our warm stir-fried brown sugar boba, fill with our caffeine-rich black milk tea, top with our house-made cheese cream, then brulee'd brown sugar. **INCLUDES STIR FRIED BOBA!!** **Sweetness Level Can Not Be Adjusted**" First of all, I don't remember seeing him brulee anything. If he did brulee my drink, he did it in the back. At the Folsom location, it was definitely done in front of me. Nuances in temperature are a large part of what makes the Signature Milk Tea so amazing. Cold chizu with warm stir fried boba is kind of like having cold ice cream with warm syrup. If they're both lukewarm, it's not as good. In this case, my whole drink just kind of tasted lukewarm. The boba did not taste freshly stir-fried, the chizu was not very flavorful, and, like I said, I don't think the top was bruleed. My friend and I both agreed that our drinks were on the mediocre side, especially considering the hefty price tag. $8 seems like a lot for a boba tea. The use of the blow torch to brulee the topping helps it feel more justified. Overall, I love how cute this shop is, but am not sure if I will return to this location. Compared to my experience at the Folsom Bober Tea, this drink was disappointing. read more
I stopped here on the way to the airport to kill some time. There is no public restroom. If you need one, you'll have to walk to chipotle or another nearby establishment. The shop was empty when we went in. Immediately we were greeted and told that the boba would be a 5-10 minute wait. We returned from a walk to the restroom right when the new boba was being poured. I was a bit sad there were no mochi donuts at this location. I ordered a classic milk tea 75% sweet with boba. It came not very cold and somewhat thick. It tasted like the powder milk tea milk drinks. I did not like it at all. The drink was very sweet despite the adjustment. I didn't finish the whole thing and my stomach hurt (I'm not lactose intolerant). I would not return unfortunately. The interior is very cute! read more

Excellent service, mochi donut assortment, boba drinks, and Instagram worthy photo opp in Sac. We ordered their classic milk tea and matcha latte. Both drinks were perfectly blended with a well balanced ratio of flavor and sweetness. We loved their interior decor and drink designs. My daughter thought that the mini butterfly topping in her milk tea was edible. But it turns out that the butterfly was a die cut accessory. Hopefully they can consider making butterfly-shaped jellies or miniature chocolate. read more
Most immediate comment I want to make is that having a plastic film over the top + the cup cover is genius and has saved me from so many disastrous spills! Would love if more places did this (but also, if there was a way to make it more environmentally friendly, even better)! Now onto the actual drinks and service! They're very fast at serving and making the drinks, and the drinks taste good! I got the strawberry chizu (cheese cream) green tea and thought it was very refreshing. I've tried their Viet coffee before too! My friend got the strawberry chizu green tea with stir fried boba, which she also enjoyed, but would comment that the stir fried boba is not anything particularly special compared to what you can find at other boba stores (but still good)! read more

Bober Tea is a Sacramento staple, and this particular shop is located in the heart of Midtown, making it a convenient stop for anyone looking for something to quench their thirst. Walking into Bober Tea the first thing that will catch your eye is their all-pink interior and aesthetic, which I'm sure will appeal to some (even I have to admit it's definitely a cute spot for pictures). You can order your drinks via their kiosk or with their cashiers. I personally appreciate any and all business that use kiosk-based ordering since it gives me opportunity to browse through the different drink options with pictures to aid in the decision process. I'll note that there isn't any interior seating at this location, so plan to grab your drink and take a stroll around Midtown. As a forever fan of fruit teas, I decided to go with their supreme strawberry green tea. Overall, I enjoyed my drink as I was able to clearly taste the tea and it wasn't masked by the taste of too much sugar or any artificial flavors. The drink also featured strawberry pieces throughout, which was a nice tough. I actually thought there were almost too many strawberry pieces, which for me detracted from the drinking experience and almost made it feel like I was drinking a slushy-type of drink. Though, to be fair, I'm sure this would be someone else's cup of tea, so it probably comes down to personal preference on this point. If you're into aesthetic tea shops with high-quality drinks, then Bober Tea is the place for you! read more
This was my first time trying Bober Tea since I am just visiting Sacramento for the weekend. They have a good variety of drink options on their menu and prices are relatively normal for a boba place (6-7 per drink). The two drinks I ordered were the Classic Milk Tea with boba and a Chizu Mango Green Tea. The milk tea here has what I would describe as a kind of cereal milk flavor to it, so very sweet even at the 0% sweetness level. This may be due to the way the boba is made, since it is advertised as stir fried. It was good overall, but I personally prefer a less sugary tasting milk tea that has more black tea flavor. The chizu mango green tea was also pretty good. For some reason they added honey boba to this drink too, which didn't really make sense for a green tea based fruit drink. I would be open to trying Bober Tea again but didn't personally have a great experience overall from this visit. I think as long as you don't mind your drinks a little on the sweeter side and don't need to customize things too much most people would probably enjoy it though. The store has a nice interior design and a pretty wide variety of options on the menu, so there's probably something for everyone here. read more
We had the pink pear green tea with cheese foam, it has the bitter aftertaste, kind of weird. I suspect it was wrongly made, it tasted like grapefruit juice. The strawberry green tea with cheese foam is a better choice, very refreshing. read more
I was visiting a friend in Sacramento & decided to grab some boba before I left. I didn't feel like the fruit tea really stood out to me and was just ok. The interior is nice if you want to take photos for social media. Other than that, I don't think I would be going out of my way for boba here. read more
Stopped by Bober Tea when I saw that they had something on their menu that sounded delicious - hazelnut boba tea with stir fried boba! When we walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by the decor (very cute and photographable), and the quick service. Prices were fair, especially for a downtown location with a cute look. The tea itself was pretty good, but definitely sweeter than I prefer. I was told I couldn't change the sugar level for this drink, which was a little unfortunate. The stir-fried boba had a deeper brown sugar taste than most other boba I have had before, and had a great chewy texture! read more
Extremely aesthetic. Light pink. Every Bober in the area has the same pink motif in their interior design. So get ready to get some cute pictures. I love their mung bean pandan latte. We were in the area on Thanksgiving Day to supercharge our Tesla and noticed this boba shop nearby! We figured it would be the perfect place to kill some time while our car charged. Since we came from the Bay Area, we were pleasantly surprised to find boba all the way out in Sacramento. Ordering was super easy using the tablet in the front. We tried the black milk tea and Vietnamese iced coffee -- both were really good! The drinks had a strong tea and coffee flavor and didn't feel watered down. The milk tea was also extra creamy. We also ordered a dozen mochi donuts to bring back to our family as a Thanksgiving tread and everyone devoured them! Some favorites seemed to be the ube and chocolate ones. Also major props to the staff for helping out with a last minute Thanksgiving recipe task! I needed to get some whole milk for a stuffing recipe and they provided a large cup for me for just a couple of bucks. It saved me an extra trip to a crowded grocery store on Thanksgiving Day. I'll stop by again when I'm in the area! I think mochi donuts will be my annual Thanksgiving contribution now. read more
It could have been what the cashier recommended for me but I have definitely had better boba. It is a take your boba and run joint with no seating inside. They do have an instagramable wall with flowers that was nice but the swings look like someone pooped in them because the fluffy pink material was super faded and brown which was pretty gross. Back to the drinks. I'm lactose intolerant and they really did not have the best selection for those of us who can't drink milk. It was hard to decipher what was drinkable and what was not for me. I had the cashier pick. She recommended the mango green tea fruit drink with clear jelly. I had a plastic piece in my drink which I didn't realize until after my drink was almost done. It was way too sweet. I wish I gotten something else. At $7.60 a drink, it was expensive and underwhelming. read more
I am a huge fan of bubble tea and after seeing all the reviews here I had to stop by. The inside of this place is set up with all the influencer photo shot opportunities you would want. There is a swing with a flower background as well as quotes spread throughout the store. They offer a large selection of drinks and food options. The staff was very friendly and quick to offer suggestions. I ordered the Vietnamese Iced Coffee as I wanted something with a strong caffeine boost. I liked the plastic cup that it comes in. It is a good size for the amount you spend. It was very strong and kept me running the entire day. It can get very humid in Sacramento and Bober Tea was the perfect place to cool down. I loved this place and plan to come back for more bubble tea options. read more
Insta-worthy interior, but majorly disappointing boba. I don't understand the stellar Yelp reviews. Pink Haze Vietnamese coffee was too sweet and not complementary to the pink foam. Same with the Jasmine Milk Tea. Even after adjusting sweetness and ice levels, the drinks were the worst we've had in recent memory. After trying a few sips - we were debating between: 1) forcing ourselves to drink what we'd purchased, 2) returning our drinks and asking for a refund, 3) throwing them away. I'm ashamed to admit - both drinks landed straight in the trashcan. We tried to force them down; but they were not palatable. Also - there is a Yelp picture marked "interior", showing a large room with tables and chairs. BE WARNED - this is not a picture of the boba shop. This has to be another venue entirely (maybe someones party, catered by Bober?!). Bober does not have any seating or tables inside. There is no place to sit and enjoy your tea. I would advise Yelp or Bober to re-tag this picture. We were searching for a place to sit and enjoy Boba, but it was unclear what the interior looked like based on Yelp. If you need a place to use the restroom or sit (or study or work) - you're better off visiting Starbucks down the street. read more
