Earlier in 2017 they totally redid their gas pumps and added several more. Hopefully soon they will renovate the actual gas station. It definitely is old and out dated. They have you basic candy, chips, several sodas and drinks, as well as a normal selection of beer. Yes f you're looking for something a little higher proof, walk next door to 44 Liquors. It is owned and managed by the same person as the gas station as well as the gas station across the street. He kinda has a Monopoly of the area! Kinda a throwback station with only 4 pumps and they are not 24/7. The gas prices here are on par with the other gas stations in the area. I'm not a fan of the convenient area as they are kinda high even compared to other gas stations. The few times I've had to either got in the drive thru or go in to pay due to the pumps acting up the service has not been great. Very slow . For years one half of there pumps didn't have visuals so it was a crap shoot what was happening. They have since fixed that so props for improving that. This gas station is a few miles from my house and I stop in time to time. I mainly avoid it because it is smaller and hard to navigate through. I wish the convenient store was cheaper as the place is in a great central location from my home. Overall the place does the trick and fills my need of getting a tank fill up when I need it during there operating hours.

After getting off the freeway a sign will guide you down the road and around the corner. The inside of the store was a little bit less than what we would expect from a Loves. The individuals at the front counter were persuaded to waves and give thanks as you walked in. When we checked out they were full of energy. Love that ! The Loves itself has a Subway and Godfather pizza if your hungry. They have roller item food too. The aisles and cold drinks needed attention. The store was not stocked, nor clean. But the employees were happy. We came looking for the fresher items like fresh fruit but maybe next time. All in all we would return and recommend. I'll stop in here from time to time and grab some gas while visiting my buddy who lives a few miles down the road as it on the way from my home. Never really had a bad experience. Usually pretty empty so no crowds or waits. They have a functional pay phone which I love to point out to my kids whenever we pass it by. So that's fun and nostalgic. Hopefully they keep it up.

As mentioned it's probably more than half the size of other speedway locations and it isn't very well kept. Prices are average for the area. Shepherdsville does not have a fifth third location so if I'm in the area and need cash it is where I will stop to get it out.
