My best friend lives down the street and when I come over to watch a football game on Sunday or some other sporting even and we need to make a beer run then we know the people at Bobby's can deliver because they have a giant sign on the building staring they do. My buddy and I often wonder how Bobby gets away with it as nobody else does and we are pretty's sure Shepherdsville law is unless you are a full service bar/restaurant then you can't serve beer. Either way we gladly take advantage of Bobby's boldness. Outside the beer on Sundays there really isn't much to write home about when it comes to Bobby's. Only has about 2-3 gas pumps and prices are generally higher than other local places. The inside isn't the most well kept and the service you receive is hit or miss.

Earlier in 2017 they totally redid their gas pumps and added several more. Hopefully soon they will renovate the actual gas station. It definitely is old and out dated. They have you basic candy, chips, several sodas and drinks, as well as a normal selection of beer. Yes f you're looking for something a little higher proof, walk next door to 44 Liquors. It is owned and managed by the same person as the gas station as well as the gas station across the street. He kinda has a Monopoly of the area! Kinda a throwback station with only 4 pumps and they are not 24/7. The gas prices here are on par with the other gas stations in the area. I'm not a fan of the convenient area as they are kinda high even compared to other gas stations. The few times I've had to either got in the drive thru or go in to pay due to the pumps acting up the service has not been great. Very slow . For years one half of there pumps didn't have visuals so it was a crap shoot what was happening. They have since fixed that so props for improving that. This gas station is a few miles from my house and I stop in time to time. I mainly avoid it because it is smaller and hard to navigate through. I wish the convenient store was cheaper as the place is in a great central location from my home. Overall the place does the trick and fills my need of getting a tank fill up when I need it during there operating hours.

I'll stop in here from time to time and grab some gas while visiting my buddy who lives a few miles down the road as it on the way from my home. Never really had a bad experience. Usually pretty empty so no crowds or waits. They have a functional pay phone which I love to point out to my kids whenever we pass it by. So that's fun and nostalgic. Hopefully they keep it up.

As mentioned it's probably more than half the size of other speedway locations and it isn't very well kept. Prices are average for the area. The only and main reason I come here is they have a fifth third atm inside and that's who I bank with. Shepherdsville does not have a fifth third location so if I'm in the area and need cash it is where I will stop to get it out.

Overall good spot for a gas station and they do a solid job. I'll stop here from time to time if shopping or eating in the hillview area.

I work behind them, work 3rd shift and I can never depend on them to be open. Everything is super marked up, over 2.50 for a fountain drink and cigarettes are through the roof! The least they could do is stay open. When they do decide to open up, they will stay running around the store and insist you check yourself out! And huff and puff when you may need cigarettes. The owner should just shut it down if they can't do better.
