The least they could do is stay open. When they do decide to open up, they will stay running around the store and insist you check yourself out! And huff and puff when you may need cigarettes. The owner should just shut it down if they can't do better.

Conveniently located off the expressway the gas prices here are usually pretty reasonable and the inside has a nice mini mart with solid options. Medium sized station that does well and serves its purpose for the locals and people pulling off the interstate. Overall solid gas Station that I've stopped by a time or two while working in the area or visiting some friends. Has less traffic than the other stations on the other side of the expressway overpass.
